Painting & Handyman - Small Restore LLC
Ilya was great and easy to work with. He responded quickly to my request for an estimate. The estimate was produced in a timely manner. I felt his price for the project was extremely fair. Once we decided to move forward, he started the project a few days later. Ilya was very communicative about his schedule like when he could/could not work on a given day (the project required lots of small steps and drying of materials overnight). He was neat and not obtrusive. One of the ceilings was a tricky plaster technique that we knew would be hard to match. Ilya did a amazing job of matching the plaster's texture. Everyone who has seen his work has complimented it. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend him.

    Wing Painting & Wallpapering Inc
Got estimates from 5 companies - large and small -- to paint (dark stained) 10 cabinet doors and 7 drawers (to off-white). Estimates ranged approx $4200 down to $750. All were going to use the same store and type of paint (Emerald urethane). All but one would separate doors/hinges and use brush or spray on-site, one would remove all and paint in their shop. I couldn't imagine the results would be 4 times better if I went with the high end quotes. Went with Wing at approx $750 (not incl tax) to do job. Zach quoted and thought it would be a 2-3 day job to remove doors/hinges and spray onsite. Three weeks later I got 4 day notice they could start work. A 3 person crew showed up on time and got right to work. Professional, friendly, efficient. They decided to use brush only. I "thought" spray method would provide a better looking finish but "no", the brush method was very good (light stipple effect). One prime coat and one finish coat were accomplished on day 1. Returning on time for day 2, they finished another coat and cleanup in approx 4 hours. Overall: Very satisfied and would hire again.

    Dynamic Home Services, LLC
On day of appointment he called and canceled and rescheduled. On the new day he called to say he was going to be late. When he showed up and performed the work we paid by Check and talked about when he would come back to install the tile floor and touch up any of the plaster he had done that didnt come out right. While we were talking my wife was filling out the check and made a mistake dating the check which both myself and Pat didnt notice. Two days later Pat called and was very aggressive and aggravated because the check couldnt be cashed, I offered to bring him cash to wherever he wanted to meet, I apologized about the error with the check but he kept screaming at me about my inability to write a check properly. He stated that he always checked that the check was filled out properly but we were talking and he didnt this time.i accept responsibility for the incorrectly filled out check but he treated me like dirt and told me to just forget it he would accept the loss and work for free. And to top it all off I had someone in for an estimate on the floor and was told that the drywall plastering needed to be done over because you could see all the seams.

    O'GRADY BROTHERS PAINTING CO
Things started out OK. They came in and took about 10 days to paint the entire house. That was fine. It would have taken me far longer. The problem was the end. They told me the work was done, walk through (by myself) and let them know how it looked. As I dug into things, they forgot to paint around door and window frames, there were missed spots in every room (both ceilings and walls), wall paint on the ceiling in one of the rooms and a large missed spot on an air return cover. I pointed all of this out to them on the phone, they told me it was all fixed, but out of a list of 25 things they fixed 3. After cancelling a couple of appointments to meet there, one because one of the brothers took a nap, they finally came out to fix the issues. They did a few but still not all. I was done with them and said I would fix the rest. A few days after we moved in we noticed the paint on the ceiling in a bathroom peeling horribly. They used an oil based primer that didn't dry completely before they painted over it, so it peeled in huge areas. They came back once, sanded it down and offered to paint it right away. Well, if it's still curing it would peel again so anyone knows you can't do that. The bottom line is after about 2 months I am still dealing with peeling paint and waiting to finish painting the ceiling myself. I haven't even mentioned the paint splatters that they got on the furniture and our stainless steel refrigerator, but I think you get the idea. The price was fair but we definitely got what we paid for and I would not hire them again or recommend them to anyone I know and like.

    PK's Painting
Very professional, thorough, and detail oriented. Every night before leaving they would clean up all of their supplies, and left nothing behind. All were polite and courteous and a pleasure to have in our home. Can not speak highly enough of PK's painting and we are ready and willing to recommend them to anyone we know.

    PV Painting & Decorating Inc
As expected, PV painting did another great job. We have used them several times over a number of years. His work is always top notch! I highly recommend. He is neat and puts down fabric tarps to even walk in and out of the house. I know I can count on the job being done right. His price is fair. Some jobs are more complicated than others. I like that I am assured that the walls will always look great. We painted 2 rooms that required a fair bit of work. We painted our guest bedroom and it was sort of a tricky job because the ceiling had many curves to it. There were several fairly large cracks in the plaster from the house settling several years ago - those were all patched up where you can't even see them. And the baseboards and doors were done too - and they look great. We also had the bathroom painted. The bathroom had a lot of chipped paint. That was all fixed too. Have already planned to have my bedroom painted in the next few weeks... can't wait!

Peter is an absolute professional. His work was done as scheduled and as always, he was exceptionally neat and clean throughout. To finish the job, he was only supposed to paint the section of wall he worked on, but he thought it wouldn't look right to only have one wall with fresh paint, so he painted the whole vestibule and did not charge extra. He has done other work for us in the past and I would recommend him unconditionally to anyone for painting, drywall repair or plaster repair. His price is quite reasonable. I wouldn't use anyone else for these kinds of jobs.

    Fine Touch Painting
They do all the painting by hand. They came exactly when they said they were going to come. The location that we are in has a lot of humidity. There were a couple things wrong, and they came back to fix it no cost. It is not their fault that the paint is bubbling up. The paint may have adhered to the primer. 95% of the painting there was no problem though. This company is very professional, and stands by their work. They are some of the nicest people, and are a delight to have around. I cannot say enough nice things about them!

Petar did the exterior work while we were away. The job was done cleanly and professionally. He replaced the house numbers as we had previously discussed. Petar had recommended that we paint the ceiling in the bathroom white to make the space seem larger. He was right. Two coats of paint for all surfaces plus repair of some surface and caulk problems. Price included purchase of paint I specified which was not what he preferred to use. Everything done with care to be sure the outcome looked great (and it does!). Petar was easy to contact, showed up when he said he would and always did what was requested to high standards.

Wonderful! Peter is amazing and made our house a home! A 1930's house looks updated and brand new inside! Peter is the hardest worker, takes pride in all that he does, is punctual, and extremely reliable. Meticulous painting job and cleans afterwards thoroughly. I recommend him to everyone! I don't know what we would do without him! Thank you Peter!
