I watched as they burst the line underground. The bursting process itself took about 45 minutes, and the only time they stopped was when the rain got relentless - which was about an hour's worth. Once every thing was done, we tested the toilet, and I was amazed that I had forgotten how fast it used to flush. Everything was put back to my specs - and honestly they did more than I asked - as it was just going to be dug up again to install the driveway. About a month after we had the job done, I saw Scott in the grocery store, and he actually remembered me - something that always strikes me as the mark of a good, honest businessman. Even the crew, right down to the youngest of helpers was knowledgeable, and answered all my "silly customer questions" - and if he couldn't, they'd grab another guy right away. I actually think Scott enjoys explaining the crazy processes they have to get your job done. Will definitely hire again if I need a plumber. And if you think the job of a master plumber is easy, go online and take a look at the exam. It's easier to become a lawyer!

It was painless all things considered. Just bought a new house and less than a month later my basement flooded because of the sewer lines. Rick was amazing to talk to and helping me to understand what was going on and explained the issues to me. Very knowledgeable and professional. He even went above and beyond to help us even after the work was completed! His guys that came out to do the work were awesome too! Quick, efficient, and knowledgeable as well! I couldn't be happier with their services!

They did a great job. They had to go through a garden and when they were done you couldn't tell they were there. Jim Shotwell was extremely helpful through the entire process. I would definitely use them again.

    UTECH BASEMENT WATERPROOFING
Utech dug up and removed the top layer of grass where they need to work. After doing the work, they replaced the layer of grass. You can't even tell there was work done unless you look very, very closely. I have seen so many front yards left a mess with a pile of dirt on them.

    SIEGEL LANDSCAPE & DRAINAGE
The entire Siegel team is excellent from handling the call for an appointment for an estimate to the completion of the job. This company is professional, knowledgeable, and responsiveness - its a well run business. The crew that did the work was outstanding. They all work together so coordinated and when the job was finished, cleaned the lawn/area amazing Siegel was recommended to me and already I have unconditionally referred them to someone else.

They responded quickly to my request, provided a written estimate, and gave me a date the work would be done. They did the work that day and then backfilled the excavation the next day. I was at ease because it was obvious they knew what they were doing. They had all the right tools and equipment at hand. The person operating the excavator (I think it was the owner) did a great job. After it settled over the winter, it was within a couple inches of being level with the rest of the yard.

Shortly after purchasing my property, sewage water began to back up in the basement laundry tub. I originally had a different plumbing company clean out the line, which was the original clay tile. They also provided me a quote to replace the trap and the sewer line, with an amount that seemed a bit high. A friend of mine had recently had hired RIC to replace their sewer, and was very happy with their work. I decided to give them a call, and was glad I did. Scott was extremely professional and familiar with my situation. In addition, the price RIC quoted me for the total job was below what the other company wanted just for the trap replacement. I was impressed at how well the job went. Their workers are top notch at what they do!

About 6 men did the work. They were very organized. They covered the path from the door to the basement where the inside work was done. They were polite, professional. The foreman kept us abreast of progress. He did took seriously questions that my wife and I had. He did not talk down to my wife. They moved and covered up everything in the basement with plastic. I had moved a lot of  stuff out ahead of time. They dug about a one foot wide trench along the inside  perimeter of the basement, installed drain pipe and re-cemented with several vents. The pipe runs to the new sump pump. They did repairs and drainage on the outside perimeter as well. Everything was hooked up to pre-existing storm drains. The work took three days.

My only mild complaint is that the utility sink in the basement pitches slightly forward, and so it does not drain as completely as it should. I did not ask them to fix it.

We had this done in response to water in the basement. We did not have a sump pump prior to this and had 9 inches of water in the basement last February. We have not had much rain, and so I cannot verify that all is OK, but it seems to be at this point.

    SIEGEL LANDSCAPE & DRAINAGE
It went well. They did a good job. I thought they were gonna also connect it to the garage and they didn't do that but I never followed up on that. I liked the plan 'cause some places wanted to put all new drainage all around. It just seemed a medium job and doable and it was more affordable. It was good.

The problem I was having was that my sump pump was recycling due to a clog or broken pipe in the bubbler system.  I called RIC several weeks ago, we set up a time for an estimate and they were here promptly for the appointment.  They indicated that it appeared that the problem was probably in the bubbler at the curb.  Due to the cold weather, they rightly advised me to wait a couple of weeks to actually have them do the work, because the kind work they were going to do could break the PVC pipes.   As they said they would, they had the utilities come out and mark where the underground pipes etc were and a couple days later they contacted me and set up a time to do the work.  They were here right on time and completed the work and cleaned up. The bubbler was originally installed improperly, with no glue in the joints, no cap at the bottom and very little stone.  The pipe joint had separated and was filled with roots.  They flushed it out, replaced and glued the fittings, put the correct amount of stone in, filled in the hole and seeded.  We had a significant amount of rain since they did the work and it did the trick, the sump is no longer running constantly.  They know what they're doing and they are no nonsense, and there was no over selling work that didn't need to be done.  They specialize in underground drainage, underfloor drainage, sump pumps, sewer, bubblers etc.  I would hire them again anytime.
