    Theodore Isseks MD
Very good experience. Service was prompt, doctor was friendly, unrushed, and communicative. Explained the various tests and results, discussed and commented on my history. I was there on Medicare, so paid no fee, but he also wrote out my eyeglass prescription. Most eye doctors charge extra for that and insurance generally doesn't cover it. They have an attached optical shop, but I didn't use it.

    The Eye Care Center
Dr. was very thorough with my exam and discussed the amount of change in my vision since last  visit. Reviewed all my records and followed up on an emergency visit over a year ago. Discussed my options for new glasses and discussed other providers without being biases. Presented factual information. The fitting of the new glasses was very professional. The fitting technician asked about my preferences and brought  about 6 different pair for consideration based on my statements. Assisted in selection that was the best fit and appearance for my individual needs.  Thorough in the measurements and placement of the order. Glasses arrived earlier than they project ed even though it was during the holiday vacation and end of year period. Final fitting and adjustments made quickly and proper fit achieved.

So far no signs of glaucoma, but there is a possibility of cataracts. If they develop, I will have Reed eye do the surgery. BTW, there is a third Reed Eye office in Sodus, NY. I go there. They also give a discount on glasses to complete with Lenscrafters, etc.

    Ogdensburg Center for Sight
The appointment began only a few minutes later than was actually scheduled and while I was slightly irritated at that, I soon was no longer irritated when I realized how much time would be spent answering questions and doing a thorough exam. The first tech who did the initial part of my exam was very friendly. The doctor was equally as friendly and was able to answer questions I had and explain about how the shape of my eye was impacting how I was seeing and recommend a contact that would work for me. He also was able to put my mind at ease about the floaters that I was having and to inform me of what to look for that wasn't normal. He was willing to talk to me about options and my appropriateness for LASIK surgery if I chose to go that route - mostly encouraging me to go for a consultation, but still was able to answer other questions as well.

    Theodore Isseks MD
I have been going to Dr. Isseks for eye exams for about five years. He's very thorough and a good listener and communicator. I wear glasses for both distance and reading and the prescriptions he's given me as my vision changes have all been accurate. A couple of years ago I began to see double and he diagnosed the problem (a weak muscle in one eye) and added a prism to my eyeglass prescription, which fixed the problem. I also had a migraine with flashing lights one weekend and was concerned it might be a torn retina. I was able to reach him quickly through the answering service and he offered to open the office for me. (I decided to wait till the following Monday and he fit me in that morning.) The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Isseks.

    Eye Care for the Adirondacks
The Appointment went well. The waiting room can be noisy and stressful but once you go in for your appointment things go well and quickly. The staff is efficient and professional. In the past, they have diagnosed all of my eye problems. In addition, they also diagnosed a problem that my doctor did not and that was a partially blocked artery in my neck. Billing is handled well and without problems.

    Stout, Dr. Richard R.
Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly; nice office environment and Dr. Stout seemed genuinely nice and very educated.  My visit lasted 1.5 hours but he was extremely thorough and I am very happy overall.

    Watertown Eye Ctr
When I called Watertown Eye Center I explained the situation to the receptionist. She was WONDERFUL on the phone (professional, cheerful, just all around NICE) for starters and my mother-in-law got an appointment for the next day. We saw Dr. Grace Burke and she was exceptional with my mother-in-law. First off, she complimented my mother-in-law on her and quot;fancy hatand quot; and that just set the tone for a very pleasant experience. I told Dr. Burke that my mother-in-law was hard of hearing and she made a special effort to speak loudly and repeat everything she said and she did it in such a nice way too. After a thorough exam we were given a prescription for an antibiotic eye drop and directions about how to wash her eye twice a day with baby shampoo and water. We were went for a follow-up appointment on February 27th and my mother-in-law's eye had improved significantly however Dr. Burke felt that she had a tendency toward dry eye and she recommended a wetting solution and sent her home with a sample. As a result of this experience, my mother-in-law left her old eye doctor and has now become a patient of the Watertown Eye Center.

I got to the office 5 minutes before scheduled appointment and was taken back to start my exam within 15 minutes. The appointment lasted about 20 minutes. Was a very fast appointment. That team works like a fine oiled machine.
