    Feldman, Dr. Hal D.
My family and I have treated with many physicians in the Township of Huntington. Dr. Feldman is "exceptionally knowledgeable and talented" while maintaining a caring bedside manner. His outstanding reputation proceeds him. I have and will continue to refer friends, family and coworkers knowing I am providing them the opportunity to have exceptional care. Thank you Dr Feldman! Hospital for Special Surgery
Nursing staff and PA's were beyond excellent. Everyone was nice. The aids varied. Some aids were superior in work ethic and quality of care and some just ok - but none were bad. PT was good with exercises, walking and stairs, but I wasn't really ready to go home to get in and out of bed - PT didn't focus on that at all really and has been really problematical at home. The Education Seminar really didn't prepare enough for challenges of going home after surgery - so that the home could be prepared. As for after surgery it focused on exercises, socks, commodes, and reaching yes. Unfortunately Sleeping needs sitting and laying down needs not focused on enough, other than the purchase of a cushion and toilet seat. The idea of having the education seminar was great, just could help more with the 24 our issues of sleeping or sitting. Hospital was absolutely immaculate. One person was nicer than the next. Not a mean person among the hospital staff I encountered bed side. They did a great job with pain management, with the exception when nurses had to line up to get medicine disbursed, and when a nurse from another floor who was working my floor had to get permission from a superior who was not immediately available, to get meds - the meds were unnecessarily delayed and pain increased. Thee were many exceptional nurses, I'd like to give a shout out to Colleen and to Whitney who were beyond exceptional.

    Wayne Altman MD
If you go on Yelp, there are negative reviews, and it is not true, I have gone to this guy for years. I think people go in and whine a lot. It is not fair. There is nothing that I don't like about him. He took care of my kid when he was in football and broken in bits and pieces, and I needed to have a knee replacement. He doesn't have a good bedside manner, but he is a great doctor. Whenever I have wanted to see him, I have been able to see him within a week, or immediately for an emergency. The wait time is just 10 minutes of your appointed time.

    Mark Hartzband MD
He does not play around and did a good job with me. I have had no problems since I have had him. I had the hip done and was playing golf in six months. The knees took about a year and a half with extensive therapy. I have great admiration for this guy though. When he does his job, he does it well.

ACTIVE ORTHOPAEDICS & SPORTS MEDICINE PA
I started developing stiffness and knee pain in one of my knees. Quick X-ray showed some arthritis. Dr. Vasquez suggested viscosupplementation injections, which he performed in three week intervals. Did not have too much effect, so they scheduled MRI. He took time to discuss results and suggested some minor surgery that might help. I'm considering it but have not committed to it yet. His manner is very clear and gives you the information you need. The staff in the office is very professional and do a lot of follow up. Very pleased with Dr. Oscar Vasquez and the office. Will continue to use them and recommend.

For more than a decade, I have seen and been treated by many of the professionals in this practice. I don't consider myself the and quot;normaland quot; patient and ask many many many questions and expect miraculous results. I've been very happy with the results of various procedures, mostly related to cartilage, tendon and osteoarthritis issues. These include carpal tunnel, knee surgeries and replacements, hip replacement, shoulder surgery and back issues. I’ve been told which issues may not be treatable or what shouldn’t be done and what not to expect and I respect and appreciate the honesty. Drs P******, Glassner, Decker, St. John, and Salam are knowledgeable, down to earth, up front and patient. My quality of life is better due to the restoration of mobility and elimination of major pain thanks to these wonderful people.

    Weissberg, Dr. David J
I have no complaints and everything was handled very well. His office is very good. He is busy and I did have to wait in the waiting room for quite awhile, but that is only a minor issue.

    Alpert, Dr. Scott W.
I first started seeing him about a year ago. He is a wonder. He uses and encourages his patients to take a course at the hospital on using medication to prepare you for surgery and to control your pain and recovery afterward. I do some of that anyway and it was such a good recovery. I am probably 85 percent pain free most of the time and I don't even know the knee is there. It will continue to get better; I just have to continue exercising. I'm doing things that I haven’t done in 5 years. He is terrific looking. It helps having great looking doctors.

    Shapiro, Dr. Jeffrey F.
He is wonderful. He explained everything. He explained it in a way that it was easy to understand. He also showed pictures of the surgery. My husbands back injury was so serious that he suggested that he would go to a pain management center.
