While I did my homework and got close to the solution, he also did and had the replacement part in his bag before I told him everything I tried and tested! While having a wonderful conversation with him, he proceeded to teach me what I had missed and how to fix it next time. I asked him about a couple other hanging issues he, again, gave his candid advice about how to fix it and didn't charge a dime more (and was 100% correct)! AJB APPLIANCE REPAIR AND HOME SERVICESMy 2 -year old oven wouldn't heat on thanksgiving morning and we were hosting dinner for friends and family later that day. On a whim and with fingers crossed, we phoned JB Appliance Repair at 8 a.m. and left a message. Joe called back within 5 minutes and said he'd come out to our home to take a look. He arrived about 15 minutes later and within 40 minutes of that, my oven was working like new! He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and kind. I'm so grateful he was willing to make an emergency house call on a holiday. He also charged a very small, and reasonable, premium for the call being on a holiday/after hours. Would recommend and use again if needed.- Gina G.

John got back to me immediately and scheduled an appointment right away. It was not easy to get the inside of the door off the microwave and he spent more time on it than he expected yet his price was very reasonable. Checked out dryer, knew instantly what the problem was (he even showed me), got the part from his van and replaced it. He was in and out in no time and his fee was very reasonable. FAmerican Home Shield (AHS) warranty is replacing my broken microwave with a new one. I received the new microwave on 11/11/2020 and notified AHS it was in my possession. Part of the warranty contract includes the installation of the new microwave. AHS typically assigns contractors themselves. However, this time AHS contracted with C & R Services with a dispatch number on 11/13/2020 for C & R to assign a local contractor to do the install. After two weeks of waiting and not being contacted by C & R or a contractor, I called C & R to follow up on the status. They said it would be 1 to 2 weeks from the date they received the dispatch from AHS. I informed them it had been 2 weeks in which they replied that it would be another 2 weeks. As of today, 12/11/2020, 4 weeks from the date C & R received the dispatch, I have not been contacted by C & R or a contractor. C & R's lack of communication and customer service is absurd. AHS informed me that they do not have any authority over C & R.
