    SpaZend
The atmosphere is very calm and very clean. Every person is given a locker and a robe which you do not often experience at local day spas. They have tea and flavored water available while you wait. The only negative thing is that the women's locker room is not fully enclosed (one wall does not reach ceiling) so you can hear conversations going on in the locker room while you are waiting for your appointment. You can also hear hallway noise when in certain rooms.
All of my experiences there have been very calming. The back facial really helped clear up my back right before my wedding, and the facial and massages did an excellent job of calming my nerves. Even my now husband LOVED the facial and massage that we went back a second time before the wedding. Everyone is very kind and accommodating. I would highly recommend.

    Tangoren, Dr. Ibrahim A.
Dr. Tangoren is absolutely wonderful and listens to you with undivided attention. I was having stress breakdowns right before my wedding and his recommendations nipped them in the butt without costing me an arm and a leg. He and his staff (especially Jill) have great bedside manner. Wait can be long at times but always worth it .

They were easy and pleasant to work with. It took about a month to get an appointment, but then everyone in the office was very friendly, even when my own doctor didn't send the referral like they were supposed to. I saw Theresa Setter, and she was great.

    Electrolysis by Stefania Inc
Stefania is a professional, friendly practitioner . She explains the electrolysis process carefully and tailors her suggestions to the individual situation. She is compassionate and wants the treatment to be as comfortable as possible for each person. I highly recommend Stefania for this service.

    Innovations Salon & Day Spa
After purchasing the groupon I made an appointment for the services over the phone. They had great availability. Tina was my service provider for all my received services. She did a great job, made me feel comfortable, and knew what she was doing. My hands and feet were moisturized and beautifully painted, and my hair looked and felt great. It was nice to work with a friendly stylist.

    Tangoren, Dr. Ibrahim A.
I have never seen Dr. Tangoren, so this review is for his practice overall. My appointments are always with one of the PA's in the office. The office has a very nice atmosphere and I've never met a staff member who wasn't friendly and courteous. I don't spend long in the waiting room - though I always make my appointments very early in the morning, having had very bad experiences with wait times for afternoon appointments at other dermatology offices, so I can't judge whether they are punctual in the afternoons as well. I received the majority of my acne treatment at an office in my hometown of Binghamton, NY. Since I moved to Syracuse and have been visiting Dr. Tangoren's practice, my appointments have simply been follow-ups to make sure everything is still on track with the topical creams I use to maintain the skin that Accutane gave me (gorgeous!). I do have a small complaint in that when I was first seen, I have been on .1% cream Tazorac, which was working perfectly well for me. I was not having any issues with my skin. The PA I saw (Dr. Brown - no longer with the practice) decided to bump me up to a .05% gel, which is actually a stronger concentration than the .1% cream due to its gel form. I wasn't experiencing any breakouts on the lower concentration that I had been using, so I'm not sure why he decided to put me on a higher concentration in the first place. Well, my skin didn't react well to the increase - it started to get very dried out. Since then it's been a struggle for my skin to tolerate even the lowest concentration of Tazorac (.05% cream).
Otherwise, I suppose I have no other complaints. They seem to be open to discussing alternate options if I want them. They always have a plethora of free samples to hand out. I haven't even had to fill a prescription for Tazorac in years because they gave me so many samples of it and you go through such a small amount each time you use it. Great! I also really like that they do a yearly body check for moles, regardless of who you are and what you are being seen for. Everyone is at risk for melonoma and everyone gets checked. This is an extremely smart policy, and I appreciate it because I tend to be too lazy to do regular checks on my own.

    Dubroff, Dr. Lewis M.
I appreciate him and I think he does a good job. He is very good at taking off moles and sewing you up. It is relativity painless. He mixes up a topical anesthetic and it is effective. I have been going to him for 15 years. He is the only dermatologist I have ever seen. I have recommended him.

It's a great place to go and treat yourself to a wonderful massage, pedicure, and anything like that. They have a nice environment. While you're in the waiting room, they serve you the best ginger cookies. They are always very professional. They are fun to talk to. If you go in for a massage, you feel very pampered. It's a great place, recommended to anyone.

    Tangoren, Dr. Ibrahim A.
My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Tangoren for acute acne and it did take about three months to get a new patient appointment. After the original appointment it is very easy to make more appointments. I went to see Dr. Tangoren with tempered hopes because my last dermatologist of six years implied that there were no options left to help me. Dr. Tangoren assured me that though I had already gone through many treatments there were still plenty of things left for me to try. We discussed what he wanted me to try first and what side effects were possible and he even mentioned other treatment options to try after that if this one if it didn't work so I wouldn't lose hope if the first thing didn't work out. There is always a nurse or aide who sits in on the appointment and takes notes. At the end of the appointment this person gives you what ever prescriptions and samples you need and a printed out sheet of the instructions Dr. Tangoren gave you during the appointment. Finally, I can say that a year later my acne is all but gone thanks to Dr. Tangoren, proving my last dermatologist wrong! Also, after my success, my mother and sister have both started to see him and are both as happy with his results as I am! I highly recommend Dr. Tangoren to anyone with skin issues!

    Tangoren, Dr. Ibrahim A.
As in the past I found Dr. Tangoren extremely efficient and pleasant to deal with. He found and treated some pre-cancerous spots on my face again and biopsied a spot on my back. Appointments with Dr. Tangoren are always prompt and I was in and out in less than an hour.
