  • These reviews don’t allow enough characters to describe my full experience today. I’ll surmise by saying, if I could give a 0 in regards to how my husband and I were treated by Dr. Vertino at my neurology appointment today I would. He quickly made his judgement and either bulldozed and spoke over me, or simply ignored my questions even though I tried to be cooperative and see things from his standpoint as well as implement them into my care plan in hopes he’d listen to my symptoms and feelings since I’d respectfully listened to his thoughts. He even went so far as to mention my referring neurologist had barely been in practice for a year which certainly seemed to be an attempt to degrade and imply the diagnosis from my prior neurologist was inept. I’ve never felt more dismissed, belittled, insulted, nor offended all at once. And to think, we had to wait 3 months to even get the referral appointment scheduled. Complete waste of time and a total insult to my existence as a human being.

  • Dr. Lawitt's is great. I've been going to her for 10 years now. Unfortunately I've changed insurances and need to find a new dentist, but I highly recommend. She's very responsive, caring, and puts you at ease, as does all the staff. Very friendly all around.

  • Dr. Puente is wonderful!!! He is thorough, detailed in his work, and treats you intelligently. He takes his time during the exam to talk to you and explain things. He doesn't make you feel rushed like other optometrists. I would recommend him to everyone!

  • It all went very well. You cannot even tell the fillings are there, and they are right on my front teeth. I was very nervous about my smile being ruined, but it was not! The other procedure was very long but they tried to make it as pleasant as possible. I still need extensive work done, but I know I am in good hands here. They really make you feel like you are a participant in your treatment plan and that you are fully informed before moving forward with anything. They have a variety of payment options, so even if a procedure is expensive, they will work with you so that you can get what you need to have done. And if you cannot afford the procedure that is recommended, they present alternative treatment plans that may work, too. All the staff are super friendly, kind, and courteous, and if one person cannot help you with something, they will make sure to connect you with someone who can.

  • The practice was very professional and impressive in the beginning. Over the years they have made major financial cuts and it shows. They don't even give children a toothbrush after their visit; how sad. Dr. Shannon is mediocre at best. She has a very flat affect, and is not very personable. We continued to go because we enjoyed working with the dental hygienist. Despite the fact that they moved to a new location they have not invested any money in updating their waiting room furniture which is old, stained, and uncomfortable. The restroom was not clean and was out of soap. We stopped going after dealing with a rude woman in billing who would send us bills for an outstanding balance even though my insurance company had paid for the cleanings in full. I lost all trust in this practice.

  • Just can't say enough about Dr. Shannon and her whole staff. We have been patients for over 10 years. she is so wonderful with children. If word got out.....she'd put all of those overly dramatic, traumatizing pediatric dentists out of business! We love her and her very sweet friendly staff! We are so blessed to have Dr. Shannon as our family dentist!

  • The doctor I went to for years left her practice and I was sent to another office to be seen by Dr. Lisa Dorsey. It was the same Group but different office.  I called the new office as I was scheduled for surgery and needed to be seen to be cleared for surgery.  They scheduled a new patient appointment and then another appointment for the pre-op.  When I called the office I was told that they didn't have me scheduled for a pre-op appointment.  After doing some research I was told that I had an appointment, which I already knew, but it had been cancelled.  I was upset as I had surgery scheduled soon and needed bloodwork done.  I was told that someone would get back to me.  It had been two days and no one had called me back so I called them back once again.  They made another appointment for me to be seen.
Prior to my first appointment I needed to have a refill on a medication that I take on a daily basis.  I called them on Monday, knowing that they needed three days to process the request.  By Friday, I still had not heard back from them.  I was going to be out of my medication on Saturday.  My husband went up to the office in person to see about getting a new prescription.  He was told as I had not been seen in their office yet I needed the script to be refilled from my previous office.  I didn't understand why no one notified me of this.
Recently, I received a letter telling me that my new doctor Lisa Dorsey was leaving their practice and my records were being sent to another practice.  The new practice does not participate with my insurance company so therefore I can't go there.  Once again they should have confirmed that the new practice did participate with my insurance company.  Currently, I am still looking for a new primary care physician. I called the office after receiving the letter and left a message for the office manager to please return my call.  I have not recieved a call from her.
I am very disappointed by this office and the way I've been treated.
I would never recommend anyone go to this office.  I consider it to be a meat factory seeing 250 patients a day and the staff is so incompetent!!  I would be concerned for anyone being seen in that office.

  • The surgery went fine except for waking up a little early; the doctor's assistant (I believe his wife) asked me if I was f___ing crazy for doing both feet at the same time.  She busted into the examination room and was extremely  loud and disruptive.  I think the doctor should get a different  assistant.

  • Both my wife and I have been a patients of Dr. Lawitts for over 20 years.  During that time we have referred many people we know to the practice, EVERYONE has been happy with our referral.  Always professional, friendly and accomodating, the entire staff if first rate!

My experiences have included regular semi-annual cleanings & checkups, fillings, crowns and some pretty extensive cosmetic work.  Each  and every experience has met or exceeded my expectations.  From early on I have felt that I am in the hands of a caring and competent staff, honestly, I have never considered looking elsewhere for my dental work.

If you are seeking a gentle, caring and competent group of dental professionals, you have found them in Dr Lawitts, Dr. Yeates and their staff.

  • This was the second trip i took there for fillings. The first time they drilled and filled cavities that I had no symptoms off, yet said they couldn't get approval to drill the side which was causing me pain. On my second trip I showed up for the appointment and told me I wasn't on the books for that day, or any day that month, or at all. I found this to be pretty strange since I wrote down the appointment in my schedule and took the day off from work. I think someone forgot to enter the appointment in the system after speaking with me on the phone. They were unapologetic or helpful, so I found another practitioner.
Pros of this practice: Very clean and modern. My dental hygienist cleaned my teeth like she had severe OCD.
Cons: They boasted a low dose x-ray machine, but had to take multiple shots because they were unfamiliar with the equipment... So I'm not sure I got the benefit of the "low dose" radiation when they had to take 3x as many shots because of do-overs.
The staff is clearly very happy to be there and socialize among them selves almost to the point of unprofessional-ism.
