  We had purchased flooring through Lumber Liquidators and Pat's company were the installers. Shortly after they started the installation it was found that there was a problem with the product. I wouldn't have noticed unless it was brought to my attention. Pat came over and told us our options. He even met us at Lumber Liquidators to make sure that we would be taken care of. Pat's team came back shortly after to lay down the replacement flooring. We Love it!! His whole team are very professional, prompt and their quality is the best. They cleaned up so fast that you wouldn't have known they were there!! I would recommend P.D. Cowen Hardwoods for any of your flooring needs!!

  Our second story bathroom floor had sagged significantly since we moved into our house two years ago, but we put off dealing it with as it is our only bathroom. We finally decided to take care of it, and everything about the entire project went incredibly smoothly and better than we had dared hope. Nick was extremely thoughtful about minimizing the amount of disruption to our lives, putting everything back together again at the end of the day so the bathroom was still usable. Additionally, the entire project was finished in less time than what was initially estimated and our new floor looks wonderful and feels solid. We are completely happy with the results, and as an added bonus, Nick was great with our dog.

Once we selected the flooring Pat was able to help in getting us a good deal on the materials from Lowe's. The installation crew was top notch, very professional and took great care in making sure the floors looked great. We would 100% recommend to anybody.

  We had to wait a while for them to get started but once they started, they worked steadily until they were finished. They completed some tricky work in two weeks and made useful suggestions on how we might save some money and accomplish what we wanted. Throughout the process, Brian and his crew were courteous and professional. When Brian first came to give an estimate, he listened carefully and wrote down everything we wanted. The written estimate we received was in great detail, which made it easy for us to negotiate and communicate. They were fast and efficient and did high quality work. We would hire them again.

  CNY Handyman Inc

  Needed a complete gut job of our master bath, replacement of the ceiling below, plus a few extra add-ons. CNY Handyman labor quote came in around $7,000 less than everyone else who quoted me. This was a 6x10 bathroom - fairly straightforward job. Parts/materials were at-cost with receipts provided. Cost below was for the total project (labor + materials). Actual labor cost was right at their original estimate. They said 5-7 days and the total job took about 6-1/2 days total. Found the work quality to be excellent. They paid attention to fine details and took pride in their workmanship. Fixed the mistakes and neglect of the previous homeowners. I found Chad and Bill to be very friendly, answered all my questions and explained what they were doing. They were a pleasure to have around. I have other projects coming down the pike and I'll be giving CNY Handyman first crack at those jobs.

  Syracuse Flooring America

  I went to Syracuse Flooring America and purchased vinyl flooring for a kitchen/eat in area. The company came and installed. Less than a year later, the floor in my kitchen was like walking on waves. The floor went up and down between the floor joists. Asked them to come and look and they agreed that it was not correct. Their fix was to leave it and cover it up with additional flooring. I told them it was not acceptable to me. I had contacted 3 additional contractors who came and looked and were shocked to see that Syracuse Flooring America had removed my subfloor. They all explained that a subfloor is needed to support the floor itself. They all concurred that I needed the floor removed and the subfloor put back down. Then the new flooring needed to be installed. They told me to contact my local Enforcement Officer who also came and looked at my floor. My kitchen floor was no longer to code because the subfloor had been removed. He reinforced the contractors saying that the flooring needed to be removed, the subfloor needed to be put back down and new flooring installed over the new subfloor. I contacted Syracuse Flooring America who refused to do that. Since they refused, I asked for my money back as well as money for material for the subfloor they ripped out. I was willing to hire someone to put in my new subfloor. I had to go to the Attorney General's Office to get action. Syracuse Flooring America would only return the cost of the flooring/installation. I was not reimbursed for the subfloor material that they removed. Since my flooring issues came to light, there were others that I work with who have also had issues with their flooring. I do not recommend this company.

  I'm an out of state landlord and a repeat customer. I was in between tenants and needed someone I could trust in my property while I was away so I could could get it occupied asap. They did a great job, paid attention to details and cleaned up when the job was done. True professionals.

  PHOENIX HARDWOOD FLOORING

  Extremely dissapointed. Foyer floors not completed with final coat of poly and do not blend where it meets the living room. Bedroom floor is covered with spots from to much poly. Exterior door does not seal shut and has a one inch gap. Storm door not aligned and will not close and not screwed in. Door knob on exterior door put on backwards. Contractor asked for full payment on day job was to be completed. Paid in full and not completed. Dents from equipment left in doors and in brand new door.

  Guiles & Son

  I couldn't of asked for a better job. Guiles and Sons never disappoints and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. I also never think twice about leaving them alone in my home. They are always responsible and very honest people. This is something sometimes hard to find in the world of contracting. I am a customer of Vern for almost 20 years and would never deal with anyone else! Thank you Vern!
