    Danny diagnosed it and showed me the problems and discussed repair vs buying a new dryer (dryer is 13 yrs old but a prior appliance repair person about 4 years ago left screws off and that caused much damage that otherwise would not have happened.) he discussed brands/types with me and looked up a few models. he said he could repair it but coud not guarantee how long dryer would work due to other extensive damage. i decided to purchase a new dryer. Danny repaired it to stop the noise and get it working. he told me it was safe to use and it could last awhile, no need to rush into buying. i had also asked him to take a look at dishwasher valve as in past i have had several leaks. he checked it for me. he only charged the diagnostic service call charge. grace, who anwered the phone returned my call within 2 hours and set up appt. she told me danny would call 1/2 hr before he arrived, which he did. i would definitely use this company again and recommend it.

    I called Phil late on Saturday, he said he could only come by on Monday morning -- which he did. He diagnosed the problem right away (condenser issue) and was able to get it fixed in minutes. Phil was prompt, knew what he was doing and charged a very fair price. Would definitely use him again and would recommend him to others for this type of work.

    I called Steve with a problem and he told me to google the error code on my washing machine first so I didn't waste money having him come to my home to diagnose the problem himself. He was right! I googled the error and it was an easy fix. I am so impressed by this man's integrity - he could have easily just scheduled an appointment and charged me to do something that I could have done myself. It's rare to find an honest business man in this world so he will be my first call if I ever need another repair. Thank you, Steve!!

    While wiping off the countertop one evening I accidently hit the underside of the open dishwasher door and a plastic piece broke off that I thought was insignificant.  Little did I know that this little piece of plastic was the reason the dishwasher would not work.

    When Steve arrived (on time and called me twice, which is rare nowadays) he diagnosed the problem within two minutes of arriving.  He quickly fixed the dishwasher and explained things to me as he was working.  My dishwasher from 1985 is working again.

    I would use Steve again (hopefully no more appliances will break) and would recommend him to anyone.

    Lou is a pleasure to deal with.  He is readily available on his cell and is very responsive...almost 24/7, it seems.  He's pleasant and knowledgable.  If he sometimes runs behind schedule, it is generally because he tries to work comprehensively to fix whatever problem he's facing at a previous call.  I wouldn't hesitate to use him again and can't recommend him highly enough.

    They email me an agreeable date and time for service.  Chris called on his the way over.  And He arrive on time with company  van.  After checking my machine, he told me the bearing is bad and the plastic around the tub is wearing out, both need to be replaced. With the parts and labor, it would cost more than $700.  With that price in mind, I've decided to replace the machine.  He agreed and told me that I should have more than 6 month on the machine, enough time to find a new one.

    The money is well spent.

    After being shocked by the price I called LG customer service and was given the names of 2 authorized repair centers. I found out that Pennies what not an authorized center even though they list LG on their web site. The Water valve cost $25 and the repair took less than half an hour to complete. My total cost from the honest repair service was $110! LESS THAN 1/3 THE PRICE PENNIES AMERICAN SERVICE WANTED TO CHARGE ME! The job was done perfectly. Lesson Learned! If your gut tells you you are getting ripped off you probably are. There are people who will take advantage if you do not pay attention. I know I will never get my $93 back but it was a valuable lesson

    . I also should have read the Angies List review prior to calling. There were some warnings.  I just did not realize I would not be dealing with the former B and B Appliance repair.

    All went well. The serviceman was prompt and courteous. I called on Tuesday afternoon and we were scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. He came right in the allotted time frame. The work took about half an hour and he gave us several tips on how to keep the machine running smoothly and avoid clogs. The price was fair and reasonable and included the new valve. I had called LG and Park Avenue Appliance Repair was one of the certified LG local repair centers. I would highly recommend then.

    The guy came on time. He was courteous and honest.  He balanced the machine and offered to get a part for it if balancing did not work.  We said OK order the part.  His simple balancing of machine fixed it.  I did not need the part.I called them to cancel the order of a part and they cheerfully complied.
