ABarry Best Seamless Gutters & Gutter HelmetThe team was truly outstanding, from start to finish! I had three quotes total, and all quotes were about the same. I was going to give Barry Best a "C" on cost, but they offered interest free financing, something that only the big guys (Home Depot) usually offer. That's the reason I bumped them up to a "B" on cost. (Btw, be sure to check their website as they offer on-line coupons.) The gentleman who came out to give us a quote was very professional. (He even dealt graciously with our ornery neighbor.) What I liked best about this gentleman is that he has actual experience with installation, so when I asked him my many detailed [and annoying] questions, he could always give me an answer. I had an estimate from Home Depot, too, and that gentleman was strictly a salesman with no actual experience in gutter installation (former insurance agent, in fact). When they came to install, they first walked around the home with me to confirm what was expected. They completed the job beautifully and efficiently. Upon completion of the job, he took me around to show me exactly what they had installed. He even pointed out that there were some loose shingles and he went ahead and nailed them down for us. There were some other nice accomodations, but one really stands out: I had a tear in one of the seams of my roof's ice-slide, from ice expansion. Being so busy, I was going to pay a roofer to fix it. Without me asking, one of the Barry Best contractors fixed it while he was up there installing the guttter! And they didn't charge me!! Although the job was fairly easy, I'm sure a roofer would have billed me $200 for coming down to do it. So I was really appreciative of this kind act. But the best was yet to come... When he came to bring me the bill, it was LESS than the original estimate. (How often does that happen?!!) The installers were honest enough to only charge me for the actual materials used, which was less than anticipated. Sadly, that level of honesty is rare, and that's why I am so impressed with this company.- Christina S.

ACNY Seamless GuttersThey were absolutely fantastic! When they came out to do the quote they were very knowledgeable, everything was explained very well. We were able to put our hands on the products that were offered because he had samples with him! We went with a custom color, I think he said there were something like 37 different colors, we did not even know that they came in colors. Well anyway I think the other big things that stood out to us was that they offer a 10 year craftsmanship warranty on their work and the gutter itself has a lifetime warranty. AExcellent! We had a pipe break after a winter storm and remodeled our house long distance from Florida. We were driving up to see the to see the near completed work and stay at our house. We needed our toilet installed, vanity installed and shower drain and nozzle hooked up. Jeff from JTECH arrived at the house at the appointment time and called us to let him in so he could do the work. We asked Jeff to please go right in , find the toilet, vanity and shower drain parts and to please install as we were on our way. Everything was installed perfectly. We also used JTECH to install our wall mounted microwave, dishwasher, bathroom light and storm door. All to our satisfaction. We would definitely hire Jeff from JTECH again!

CWorkers arrived late.Was told 8am, 1st worker showed 9:30, 2nd 11:00 left @ 5:00. 2nd worker showed 11:00 next morning, left 7:00 pm. Was also suppose to do a row of subway tile behind vanity as a back splash. Wasn't done, worker didn't have wet saw to cut tile. Installed piece of surround instead. Damaged wall next to shower. Patched it but didn't offer to repaint it even though I had paint available. A 3rd worker had to 3 days later to install correct shower current rod.

I got to A & J Gutters and George not only answered my call, but we arranged to meet at the property the next day for an estimate and he had them installed 3 days later (plus he put the client's Christmas lights back up!) He's polite, does what he says he'll do and the workmanship was terrific. It is clear he takes pride in his work, and he works hard. Call him, he's terrific!
