    EMB Cyber Security
John from EMB Cyber Security came to install our camera. What a nice person, humble and friendly. Also respected our feelings by taking of his shoes every time he entered our house. Job vary nicely done, cleaned everything after work is done. Highly satisfied.

    Frank-Key Services
I chose Frank-Key Services after reading the positive reviews on Angies list. I needed to have the cylinder on my front door lock changed; a new lock for my sliding door; and locks repaired. Frank was very professional, courteous and did meticulous work. He did not charge me for minor repairs and made some security recommendations. The best part was that he was able to make extra spare keys instantly from his work van. I would highly recommend Frank-key Services. He was very reasonably priced and even offered a discount for Angies List members. Thank- you Frank!

They were super-friendly and super nice. I don't remember having a bad experience. I remember them being super-responsive. I have no recollection of this. If I can't remember it then it wasn't a bad time.

    MAGNIFICO Locksmith
He was excellent. We had a set amount. It was a very complicated job, and he stuck with the same amount. He was so good, and I brought him back for this job. I remember his name and company. He stuck with the estimated price, and spent four hours on the job. He was great.

    Minkel Safe & Lock Co
Well, long story short, I needed their services after I locked myself out of my home. I needed to secure my home after Pop-A-Lock had to break 2 of the 3 locks just so I could get in.
I found Minkel in my Angie's List directory and I remembered seeing them in my community. I spoke with Ellen who was extremely patient and professional, recognizing my sense of urgency and a little bit of angst. I was relieved to find that she could get someone to me within the hour! I texted her photos of my damaged locks so she'd know just what I needed. She showed them to the technician, Walter, who confirmed he had them on his truck. It's always a reassuring thing to have names to associate with the folks who do the work so I know who to expect to show up at my door. Walter called me before arriving to make sure he had the correct address; he was very courteous and helpful in explaining what he was going to do, and he made sure the installation was effective and functional before presenting me with the bill. All in all, having the new keys in my hand and looking at the great workmanship, I made a great investment.

    Bob's Locksmith Inc
They were great. They're like a long standing family business. They are the only ones I go to for anything. He is very accommodating. They find exactly what I want. They don't overcharge. They are nice. They do the work correctly. They are really good about the price. They definitely find the best stuff and the things that I want. I use them most of the time. I always recommend them to people.

    Minkel Safe & Lock Co

I've called them last Monday. They said that they are busy until Wednesday, but Wednesday the repairman definitely come. No one ever came and no one ever called back. When I called today, receptionist told me "sorry I did not know that nobody came"

Absolutely unreliable company. I would not recommend them to anybody.

I sent him photos of my locks. He stated the locks I have do not exist anymore. I was willing to change my locks, but have had trouble getting work scheduled. I have contacted the company, and the owner keeps telling me that he will call me back to schedule, but has yet to do so.

    Jack's Locksmith, LLC
My wife and I recently moved into a new home and wanted to get the locks rekeyed for peace of mind.  Initially I'd thought of having the locks changed all together, but am glad I didn't after speaking with Jack.  He explained that the locks the previous owner already had in place were very high quality, and that rekeying was the way to go.

In a word, Jack was terrific.  It just so happened that he showed up in the midst of a perfect storm.  First the wife got upset at me (another story for another review) and left in a huff for the car dealership to get the car serviced, then my father-in-law showed up to take our daughter to day car.  At the same time, Best Buy showed up with our new TV.  All of this had happened, or was taking place when Jack rang our door bell at 9 AM just as he said he would a couple of days prior.

In addition to his punctuality (a pet peeve of mine when it comes to contractors, and pretty much everyone else), Jack was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional at all times.  As I mentioned, I was juggling a number of different plates, and after explaining our situation, I was able to more or less leave Jack on his own to do his thing.  He came back shortly after our initial conversation, and had already taken care of all the locks.  He then patiently took his time to walk me through the mechanics of the locks and describe what he had done.

In short, I wholeheartedly recommend Jack and would certainly use him again in the future.

Many thanks for the great job, Jack, and for helping to put my mind at ease during a stressful situation.

    Amerikey Inc
i moved.  last wednesday, 9/2/2015, & i hired AmeriKey to change the front door lock at my new house. what was supposed to be $50 job, (getting the locked "keyed", parts and labor) wound up costing me $250... Here's why... the locksmith tells My Mom we need a new deadbolt with parts and labor $175.... so he does the job, Mom goes to pay with her credit card, he wont take it... says Cash Only... so Mom only had $100 in cash but he took it.... That Friday night, as we are trying to move in, i tried to open the door with my New Key and i cant... long story short, I'm locked out, Mom is locked in!  The locksmith installed a BROKEN $3.00 DEADBOLT! 3+ HOURS on the phone with AmeriKey customer service to get a locksmith here because we cant shut/close our door, the deadbolt is stuck and sticking out of the door & they couldnt get someone here until Sunday because "it's a holiday".
Now, this lock is "under warrantee" so it should have cost me nothing to have it replaced, but they tried to Bully ME so that I would pay, full price, out of pocket AGAIN to get someone here to fix the deadbolt there "technician" installed..... looking at another $175 (just to show up) + parts and labor, because by this time it was past 8pm.... but they said they couldn't find anyone to come here because "its a holiday"... So finally i call a more reputable locksmith, he comes in an hour, does the job, totally professional and writes up a report for me to send with a letter to the Better Business Bureau..... Pop-A-Lock totally recommend them!!!!
So NOW... i'm calling AmeriKey for DAYS trying to get a manager on the phone to discuss this because I want a refund from them, the $100.  They didnt honor the "warrantee"  The manager, Albert, refuses to call me back, refuses to take my calls and the customer service rep tells me today "WE AREN'T GIVING YOU ANY MONEY!!!"
Use at your own risk - not trust worthy, not professional, the customer services reps use foul language and will cut you off while you are trying to explain your situation.  They do not care about helping people, they only care about getting your cash.
