TotalMaster is the best company by far. Unlike many contractors Vinny, the boss, is reasonable in pricing but does top shelf work. He is a kind person who strives to be the best and reliable. You cannot go wrong with Total Master.

We called Heartland Handyman Services for what we thought was just to paint 2 rooms. Javier showed us there was much more involved. With little to no effort at all, he showed us that the room's window was not seated and secure. The window sill came off with a little tug. Inside the wall were signs of water leaks. In the other room, the floor had been damaged and since it could not bear any weight, we could step through the floor. Heartland had to open up the outside siding, repair the exterior wall, reseal the siding, reseat the windows, insulate the walls, besides the original plan to paint the 2 rooms. He also had to reinforce the outer wall, repair the underflooring and install a new floor.

Harvey and his team were great. Had a terrible bathroom and they made me a new one. Worked within my budget and went above and beyond. Work came out beautiful. They were punctual and helpful. I'm always skeptical when it comes to this type of work but they were great. Going to call them again for painting and flooring.

My bathroom renovation, done by Gianfranco Contracting, went like a dream. The crew of guys that did the work showed up on time every day and were extremely professional. As a construction worker myself I was happy to be involved with the layout of the bathroom tile and fixtures with the workers. They listened to what my wife and I envisioned and came back with alternatives that were helpful as well. They were very thorough with their work and clean up every day. I would highly recommend using them and am definitely looking forward to having them do future work in my home as well.

Excellent work! I Would recommend His work to everyone. Everything was on point. Vinny and his helper are very professional. The whole job was outlined with detail of what was going to happen next and how long it will take and how much it would cost. The cleanup every day was very impressive throughout the job. I couldnt be happier with my new kitchen and bathroom. The work he did is much more beautiful than I ever imagined. His work is perfection!

We retained Troost Bros in 2016 for a complete kitchen remodel and the addition of a bath in a foyer behind the kitchen. Additionally a significant update to supporting electrical service and plumbing was also necessary to accomplish the remodel. We found Jeff and Scott to be an excellent contracting team. Jeff handled the initial sales meeting and follow-up. He was very professional, informative and patient with all our questions and concerns. The estimate received was very detailed and very competitive with other contractors we had contacted. Once we chose Troost Brothers.for our remodel, they worked with our architect to secure all the Buildings Department approvals and permits and kept us informed about their estimated start date. When the job began, Scott worked closely with us to review the work done each day and plan for the next stage of work. Their on site team of workers were knowledgeable and easy to work with. While any demolition/rebuild contracting job is disruptive, we felt that the Troost Brothers and their team minimized the chaos. They were on top of the schedule and able to work around order delays and even an appliance return. They also made helpful suggestions about the installation based on their experience. They could also be counted on to follow up on any minor installation issues and manage any demolition/construction surprises. Their subcontractors, Ridge Electrical Contracting and Louis L. Buttermark & Sons Plumbing & Heating also provided a similarly high level of professionalism and friendly service. We were very pleased with the resulting kitchen and bath remodel and that satisfaction we believe is due mainly to the competence and professionalism of Jeff, Scott and their team. We also subsequently contracted with Troost Brothers in 2017 to install several replacement windows and were again very pleased with the work. The new windows were quickly and professionally installed. We highly recommend Troost Brothers and would use them again.

Contractor Lionel Greene 1. Meticulous 2. Suggestive, creatively helpful 3. Such attention to detail 4. Neat / Cleans up continually (I love to Clean, he jovially spouts) I have found a CONTRACTOR!! I had a friend who was a SUPER handyman. He was meticulous, thorough, suggestively creative and extremely talented. And most of all someone I trusted immensely..and then he moved to North Carolina. I was lost. My Man was gone. For about 15 years Ive been in limbo. I needed a kitchen done, walls down, island, moving the plumbing around, etc., etc. A friend referred a guy. But not knowing this gentleman, I figured, I needed my living room done, so let me try him out on this smaller job. And then came LIONEL!! Mr. Lionel Greene came through my door with a smile. I explained what my priorities were and (he gave me a price,) He asked a me a few questions, gave me a few suggestions and gave me a price. We were in the same ballpark. Never having worked with Mr. Greene, I was reluctant and skeptical, but thats my nature under the circumstances. He had suggestions that were very significant that I hadnt factored in. For instance, ceiling light placing for high hats and their switching sequence. He was so much on point. Day 1, as my walls and ceiling were coming down, and Im not yet at the point to just let it go, relax and just let them do what they do, I went out to go to the store, and in my driveway, so neatly bundled and tied up was all that lath from my ceiling and walls. The plaster had been meticulously bagged up. I finally began to relax and believe. He had done one or two things over because he wasnt satisfied. Hell do this in your home as though he were working at his own home. My walls and ceiling are PERFECT!! I dont even want to put anything on them, they so nice. I hated my previous lath and plaster ceiling and walls. Lionel was PERFECTION! I LOVE LIONELS WALLS! Yes, these are still Lionels walls, and will always be Lionels walls. Truly perfection. I had always admired crown molding and envisioned them in my home one day. Mr. Greene told me about some horror stories regarding Crown Molding. I thought he was just blowing smoke to make himself look good (I was again slightly skeptical.) Not even close. His crown is again.PERFECTION! Once the walls and ceiling were up and painted, Mr Greene took me to Home Depot to select all the necessary moldings; floor, door, crown whatever. I didnt realize the process. We were there for about 2 hours as Mr. Greene detailed each phase of what was to come next, and helped me decide what I envisioned. I cant thank him enough for that education. His patience (dealing with me), was truly a virtue, (cause I don't have a clue). I learned to trust Mr Greene for he is SINCERELY TRUSTWORTHY. I loaned him out to 4 people and they are IMMENSELY PLEASED. I suggest you get a notebook, have 3 or 4 contractors come and layout an estimate. Be detailed and write it down. Know what they say and what they gonna' do......then call MR LIONEL GREENE.....he get done.. (more to follow on submission when my kitchen gets completely done. Just finishing touches left) Enjoy and Be Safe!! Respectfully.Kenneth J. King Staten Island, New York
