Exterior Contractor reviews in Springwater

    Savage Masonry
rrived on time and work done as scheduled.  I had hired four other contractors (roofing "specialists? and other masons), paid out  approximately $2,000 and problem was never fully resolved.  By the time I  found Robert,  I had water streaming down the rocks of the fireplace in my living room - floor to ceiling disaster.  I happened to see Savage Masonry sign roadside while he was working on a brick chimney.  Stopped , talked to him, made an appointment  for an estimate.  Work was scheduled and done as promised.  I would definitely hire again and highly recommend Savage Masonry.  AND - work is guaranteed for 5 years.

Very sloppy -left items on lawn - parked his vehicle on grass.  Was told a delivery  truck would arrive with the "crusher run".  NO WAY.  Was brought in buckets in trunk of car.  Told that the delivery would have left "ruts"..Moved wooden steps of porch - damaged = repair  was very unprofessional = used warped wood, and the top step was not even. After cement was poured there were several spots that were broken on the edges - repaired but still noticeable.  Also after it dried there appeared to be a few areas that appeared lighter/darker = was told it would blend eventually.  Not so.  Splashed cement on storm door and ripped a piece of trim off the door-apparently it was in the way.  Brought in dirt with large stones in it  and tried to pass it off as top soil - did eventually bring in topsoil for landscaping to the new edges,  Problem area of sidewalk running next to garage due to the log siding.  I checked with an expert in log homes, and was told , "2x4 must be removed and just put some gravel in that space to allow for proper drainage."  Called 3 times and each time told he'd  be back..  Never happened.  Last phone message was not returned.  Hired someone else to remove  the 2x4 and  bought the gravel to fill the space.
