Brett and his crew did a wonderful job on our project. He and his staff treated our job as if they were working on their own homes. They were courteous and clean and best of all, stayed within the budget.

After searching for quite a while, I finally found someone who had the knowledge and willingness to take on my project. We have several additions that were beyond what many contractors considered to be worth fixing. I now know that they (other contractors) were thinking of their own interests as opposed to my own, and that although complicated and tedious, it was entirely possible and cost effective to save this historic structure. It was't the easiest way to go, but in this case it turned out to be the right way. After the first two weeks I felt comfortable enough to expand the scope of the project well beyond what we had originally planned. After seeing what Brett VanSant was able to accomplish it only made sense to keep going with him and build the home I always wanted. I ended up with a MUCH nicer home for less money than what other professionals quoted me for my project. Brett not only was able to act as GC and perform most tasks himself, but was also able to shield me from lots of bad advice and sub-par work from sub-contractors and other "professionals". I give Brett VanSant and the VanSant Construction crew my full endorsement and highest recommendation. Hiring Brett was a very good decision.

Excellent. The added work took a couple extra days than he anticipated, but it was not reflected in any additional prices. I'm sure there are many great workers out there, but what makes Kenny stand out is his kindness and sense of humor. He is "good people".

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH HOW THINGS WENT. I DON'T THINK TWO WEEKS WENT BY FROM THE FIRST PHONE CALL TO THE FINISHED JOB. HE PRICE WAS VERY FAIR AND THE QUALITY OF HIS WORK IS GREAT.  I WAS HAPPY I WAS ABLE TO USE A LOCAL CONTRACTOR AND NOT SOME "BIG NAME" COMPANY. MR. HEAD WAS HARDWORKING AND PLEASANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH.

Very pleasant experience with a true proffesional.Tim was totally involved in the design,he worked from my suggestions and added very sound professional advice and excellent workmanship.Tim's crew was polite and considerate. The workplace was kept clean and I was always consulted on Tim's buiding decisions.I would recommend this outfit without hesitation as Tim has followed up with me since completion and continues to take care of any issues that have come up..

They said in September they would be able to start about the middle of October. On the 15th of October, they were here staking the project and the next morning they were digging. Most of the time when I thought they would not show up because of the weather, they were here. The job progressed in an even fashion. I am completely satisfied with the finished product and the rate at which they progressed.

If I could give negative stars, I would. He seemed like a good, reliable guy so we agreed to have him build a garage/pole barn, excavation and all. We paid for and had delivered several thousand dollars worth of materials, including three dump loads of fill. Friday he was to drop off his bulldozer and Saturday begin work. No-show Friday, no-show Saturday. No phone calls, no replies to our texts or messages. We thought he had had some accident or something. I'm used to people not returning phone calls, but no one would just leave you hanging like that! A few days later, an employee of his called to say that Brad was too busy and couldn't do it. I guess he was not only unreliable, but too much of a coward to call and apologize for his own failure. Now we're left with a driveway full of dirt and building supplies. The snow is falling, the ground is freezing, and we are stuck. Googling "Brad Kyler" to find out what might have happened to him, we did find that a year ago, he was charged with some felonies in connection with fraudulent bidding on some project in Ellicottville. I don't know what ever came of that, but clearly this is one contractor to stay away from.

He said it would take 2 weeks. Here it is March and it's not complete. He won't return my calls or texts. He also had me pay him in cash so he wouldn't have to report it as earnings. I now have to hire someone to complete the project.

We are very unhappy with these people . it was a husband and wife team that seemed like they wanted the work but never responded back, and not even the decency to call or email or write to say they weren't even interested in the work so that we could quickly get another company.
