  • I think they did an excellent job. They did a perfect job, we didn’t have any problems with their repair work. They were quick to come to repair because it was an emergency. They were here right away and fixed it. I don’t remember having a complaint about the cost. My husband & I weren’t like, “Oh my god, that’s too much!” I don’t remember what it was, but it wasn't astronomical. If my husband didn’t complain about the price, then it was okay. I told my husband we should start using them, even for preventive work.

  • Bought a filter through BoAir.com.
    During checkout, I triple checked that I chose the correct size, but their records indicate that I ordered the size that is the default selection on their add-to-cart form, and indeed the default size is what I received in the mail.  The order confirmation that they emailed me did not specify what item(s) I had ordered.
    I first tried to pursue an exchange or refund, but was denied.  They said they had no use for a tiny 10x10x1 filter, because no one needs them that small, and at the same time they suggested I try to sell it on craigslist or eBay.  Later they wrote me and said, "We are unable to accommodate your request for a full refund or partial refund."

  • Based on very positive Angie's List reviews, I called Joe this morning when one of our heating units stopped operating properly. Joe answers his own phone promptly - which is a big plus right off the bat - no voicemail or answering service to deal with - you get "the guy."  I explained what was happening - and not happening - with the heating unit and Joe gave me a few ideas as it what might be wrong and he put my mind to rest that what I was describing would probably be an easy fix.  He made an appointment to come out between 10 and 12 this morning - yet another big plus - same day service on what was a very cold day.  I gave Joe a "B" on punctuality only because 12 noon came and went and I didn't hear from him but when I called him after noon, he said he was finishing another job and would be out in a half hour - which he was.  A call to say he was running late would have been nice... "A" is excellent - "B" is good... 
    When they arrived, I found Joe and Eric to be nice, friendly guys - another big plus when you are dealing with repair professionals. I took them to see the heating unit and Joe ran a bunch of tests to determine the problem.  Meantime Eric was nice enough to tape a separation in another vent pipe that had nothing to do with the heater being looked at.  Joe determined that the heater had a dirt blocked inducer something (you think I understood?) and proceeded to clean out the line and reconnect everything.  Presto - working heater!  Joe offered to change my filter which is in an odd and difficult-to-reach place - but turned out the filter was still clean.  He also explained to me how the filter goes in, how it should be placed, and how the airflow worked - which I appreciated.  
    Assuming the heater continues to work without any issues, this was a quick, easy fix and I appreciated that in taking care of the problem - Joe didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, and he explained everything he did.  I felt he was honest, knowledgeable and professional and while I hope it isn't any time soon - I would definitely use him again.  
    Note: The "B" on price was only because I had two other guys who I had called who charge only $75 for their service calls - so I thought the $95 was a bit high - but perhaps worth it to get an honest guy who knows what he's doing.  My overall "A" reflects that.
    Note #2 to Joe's wife who he told me reads these reviews:  Don't tell Joe how happy I was with his service - because he said it goes right to his head :-)

  • This was a big deal I purchased. They sent somebody named John Griffin who cleaned yesterday. He did not have to clean up, just a little vacuuming, because my heater was new. I just wanted to make sure it was clean before I turned it on. The person was nice. They were good. He came on time. When I need something I will call John.

  • We had a very good, positive experience with them. The service was perfect on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give an 11. They exceeded expectation and the workers were wonderful. They were ahead of the scheduled time and I would recommend them to a friend.

  • John arrived right on time and was very honest. Although I thought our unit needed freon, he told me that it did not. He took the time to check out my central A/C system and went over the best and most cost effective options to improve it. Being a woman with two small children, I am always concerned about letting someone into my home. However, John and his assistant were kind and respectful. I will definitely be calling them again!

  • They came and said I had a really big problem that needed to be taken care of right away. I don’t know if I needed it or not, but I did follow through because I was scared. I wasn’t happy that they used the big deal to get into the door at a low price, convince members to put my trust in him, and then charge a huge amount to “fix” the problem.  I'm not sure of the best way to grade them - perhaps a "?"

  • We needed to replace an aging but working Lennox forced air heating Syste m. Kevin and his team from Atlas Air masters installed a Trane forced air heating System. The crew was courteous and efficient. The work was completed in a timely manner.

  • That worked out really well. They were very good. They were very honest. I didn't feel like they were trying to sell me anything that I didn't need. They were just very good and very efficient, so it was a good experience overall. They were very honest about what I needed and what I didn't need. They felt that the equipment that I have is fine and don't need to upgrade at this point as long as everything is working. He reported back to me that everything is in good working condition.
