I can't say enough positive about the caring, professional, and compassionate care our dogs (and we) have received at Storybook. We have entrusted the health and wellbeing of our now three Westies to Storybook and in particular to Dr. Lodge for over 20 years. We have also had excellent experiences with Dr. Giles, when Dr. Lodge was not available for pressing issues. The vets, the techs, and the office staff are uniformly excellent. When our second Westie got cancer at age 10, Dr. Lodge guided us through treatment options and upstate specialty resources, always putting quality of life first and foremost. Recommended without reservation.

Dr. Surman is without exception the very best Veterinarian. We have utilized the services of Dr. Surman and her team at Ameriland Animal Hospital since 2002. Dr. Surman has lovingly and expertly cared for all of our dogs (Aussies) and our cats. She and her team are true professionals: knowledgeable and caring, and Ameriland Animal Hospital's fees (for all services and other needs pet meds, supplies, are very reasonable. We travel from the west side of Monroe County, NY to Ovid, NY (which is over 1 hr.), and would NEVER go anywhere else. Thank God for Dr. Surman and her team!

Brighton Animal Hospital & Boarding Kennel
I started as a patient in October of 2019. In January of 2020, I started as an employee. That employment opportunity did not work out, however I wanted to remain a client. I was let go as a client for no valid reason and then when I called to have my pets medical records transferred to their new vet, they were never sent. I made this request on at least 6 different occasions, to no avail. My dogs had been heartworm tested in April and I had been buying their heartworm medication on a monthly basis. The fact that they gave me no notice that they were going to drop me as a client left me without heartworm medication for my dogs. Dr. Foley did agree to sell me some last month to keep them on the schedule until we got the records switched over so the new vet could sign off on the prescriptions. Well here we are again with them needing their medication and the records still haven't been sent. I shouldn't have to keep calling and requesting these records be sent. Not only is it unprofessional but it is also putting my pets at risk. This is uncalled for and unacceptable. Be upset with me that is ok, don't take it out on my pets. Your supposed to be in the business of helping animals.

    Brockport Animal Hospital
Dr. Edwards put me at ease about my puppy's cough being from a minor upper respiratory, possibly due to teething. They got me in on a cancellation after another office that I had gone to (because earlier BAH had no openings) had scared me. --In the future I'll always wait for BAH to take care of my puppy. :o)

    The Country Vet
Dr. Sandra Marky overdosed and killed our 1 year old puppy. She admitted to being negligent by not doing any bloodwork. They over prescribed PVV which are pre-meds so they basically have a doped up dog that they don't have to deal with when they take them from their owners, curbside. She was sent home early, I bright her back the following day because I knew she was not right, Sandra have her more drugs and sent her home and she is dead within a few hours. She died in my arms. I was so attached to her, especially with Covid and the quarantine. She was part of my everyday. No one cares there. I have yet to get any sort of explanation from the owner Dr. Steve Aimi, and I have not received one penny from them. They basically took 450$ and killed my family member that was 1200$ I don't know how they sleep at night. They are a fast-food style butcher shop. Consider yourself warned. Wish I had been. Please go to their website and contact them with #avoiceforcaillou they will know! And please share my story and hashtag.

    The Country Vet
Horrendously. The vet I saw was knowledgeable but the way they run their business is poor. If you comment at all in a negative way they suggest you take your business elsewhere! Unbelievable! Never in my 60 years have I been so disappointed.

    Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Service
It went from bad to wrose. After 2 long hours I left with my dachshund still bleeding buy now paralyzed in the back legs. It appears that in trying to look down his throat the vet twisted his neck damaging his neck and spine. After 6 weeks (and lots of $$) working with 2 other vets, my poor little dachshund is walking again. He not the same as before the visit, but walking. I now have had 2 bad experience with Veterinary Specialists. Never again! Don't be a fool like me, never take a pet to these people if you care for your pet. Plus if you do, be prepared to spend a lot of money. They are experts in how to run up your bill while accomplishing nothing!

    Doorbell Vet
I would like to express my profound appreciation for 2 angels from The Doorbell Vet. Dr. Larry Silberg and vet tech Danny who were originally called to put my beloved cat Tony to sleep due to serious and what appeared to be insurmountable health problems. Upon careful observation, caring and vast experience Dr. Larry suggested an alternative solution which was very successful in pulling Tony out of a deep decline. He also suggested a medication which brought back a good deal of his sight. As a result Tony and I had almost 3 months of additional quality time together. When the time came which could no longer be prevented, Dr. Silberg and Danny once again came to my home to assist Tony to his final resting place. Because of their compassion and caring ways they seemed like old friends to both myself and Tony. Dr. Silberg and Danny provided Tony and myself with the gift of much comfort and peace of mind on a difficult day. I will always remember their gift of generosity, comfort and compassion and be forever grateful. And likewise I will always be thankful to The Doorbell Vet for providing such excellent care and concern and special in-home treatment. The calm atmosphere and special attention that can be given in-home is well-worth the small extra cost. The Doorbell Vet will always be my choice for all veterinarian services in the future.

    Churchville Veterinary Hospital P.C.
Very well. The staff is excellent, attentive and very attentive to the well-being of the animals they tend for. The Hospital is run professionally and with good communication regarding a pet's needs and care. Our cat visit for her annual checkups and recently had to have surgery under general anesthesia for the removal of a cyst on her left hind leg. The procedure went smoothly. Holly healed well and is now back to her usual self with no problems whatever. We were given very helpful and detailed guidelines for post-surgical care.
