The job was excellent, we are very pleased. Our bathroom was a small master bath that was hideous... It needed new shower, vanity, toilet, walls stripped, vent put in, new flooring, baseboard, fixtures, etc. Scott's strength is not only in his skill, but his communication. He is 100% accessible, and he stands behind his work. I am not going to put a price,... for a reason. When we were shopping, the prices were absolutely crazy from low end to high... We are pleased with the price for the services received and have already spoken to him about another bathroom this fall.

I hired them to remodel my bathroom with flooring. Tyler help us choose and select the most beautiful imported tiles. He did a great job with the estimate as well as giving us the "best" price. The tiles came to the storeroom in a timely manner and the customer service was spot on. They showed up on time daily as well as worked continuously while they were on the job site. When the job was done there was hardly any extra tile. The people at BDC made a potentially stressful remodel job go smoothly.

First, Dave is a very reasonable guy to deal with and is always on top of how a customer feels about the level of his work. We hired him to finish a full bathroom that we had started tearing down and to remodel a small half bathroom, along with some molding that we needed put in the upstairs. First, we had to replace 9 doors in our house. This was done in a day (save for one door that had to be special ordered). Great job. For the upstairs bathroom, we had previously ripped out the tiling and the walls around the tub. But we needed new walls and tiling around the tub, needed new flooring in the bathroom, needed to install and hookup a new double vanity, new lights, new outlets, new doors for existing cabinets, wainscoting, ceiling work and patching, and painting. Dave went through every part of the process with us. He did the work around the tub, ripped out the old tile flooring, put down new tile flooring, did an amazing job with the wainscoting and all its detailing. We had a very tight fit for the vanity but we were able to get that in with some quick thinking on his part. We did a backsplash on the back of the vanity that came out nice. He made two doors from scratch! for the bathroom cabinets that came out very nice. We had an issue with some grouting but that was more of a communication issue and the situation was handled. What I appreciated about working through this was, as an project has snags, he was able to correct the issue quickly. He installed the new ceiling fan, installed new 2 switches and put 2 new outlets in the bathroom. The detailing was nice and his painters do a terrific job. My kids love their new bathroom and, for the level of work done, it was very reasonably priced. We then had a new window replaced in our kitchen. They helped order the window to our specifications and, when it arrived, installed it in under and hour. For the small bathroom, again he ripped out the old tile flooring, removed the vanity, put in new tiling, installed the new vanity, replaced the old lights, installed a new outlet, put in molding all along the tiling, reinstalled the toilet, and painted. Again, all very good work, very professional. We also had him replace the flooring in our hallway and kitchen. This came out great, along with all the nice molding work he did. He also put in molding upstairs in our hallway. And on top of this, to show you what a nice guy he was, he plowed my driveway when he was there. He was in constant contact with me throughout the project, was accessible, very agreeable, and open to suggestion. The wainscoting in the bathroom was an idea we had after the fact. He did a great job of putting it in. He's up front on all costs, provides proper paperwork and receipts for all his work, and his estimates (short of any new work we needed done after the original estimate) were spot on. For all he did, the service costs were extremely reasonable. It's great having a local resource like Dave, his family, and the people who work for him, in the area. Would definitely recommend him to anyone.

    Scott Hadfield Construction
Scott remodeled my bathroom a few years ago and did such a great job that I didn't even think about calling anyone else to remodel my kitchen. I called him for an estimate. He got right back to me with a price and cabinet selections. He had to tear out all the old cabinets, appliances, floor etc. and install all new. He started the job and would have been finished in 2 weeks except that I was slow to pick out my flooring that had to be special ordered. Other than that, he was on the job every day and he had everything scheduled to arrive at the appropriate times. He is great to work with and when I wanted a change, he just said, " We will make it happen." I love my new kitchen and would recommend him to anyone.

Tony & his crew are fantastic. They are real craftsmen; living up to their name. Tony has a great personality & is a pleasure to work with. He is very responsive & does a good job of managing the job to finish in a timely manner. We are already planning to have Craftsmen Construction & Design come back to do more work for us!

The woman on the phone told me that there was a $39.99 non-refundable service fee for them to come out and give me an estimate. The conversation went downhill from there, as I told her that no work would be done at the first visit I just needed to know what it would cost. she told me that it didn't matter, they charged $39.99 to do estimates and then they would start the work that day. I pointed out that I wasn't even sure I was going to hire them and unless they bring the floor with them, that was impossible. I also pointed out that it specifically says "free estimates" on the Angie's list site. she ignored me and said, so do you want them to come out? I wish it had gone better because we ended up not doing anything to the bathroom and I really wanted the carpeting out of there quickly.

    Quality Homes Of Rochester
Went great! Very happy with the whole process. Great guys (Dave and Brick) Very professional, neat, clean personable and easy to work with. All workmanship was very professional. I love love love my new kitchen. Quotes from other companies may have been a little cheaper but were starting labor. Quality gave me a total labor and there were no hidden cost. Paid an up charge for better floor and extra lighting. Had a complete kitchen gut to the studs, a wall opened up into the dinning room, a wall extended to move refrigerator to the end of the kitchen, dishwasher moved and drained to the basement, extra outlets and more lighting the whole ball of wax. Not a lot of interaction from Quality of homes once the job was started, but enough. Would recommend if Dave and Brick were the contractors doing the job!

    Creative Spaces of Rochester, Inc
I had a horrible experience with this contractor. He promised that I would love it and that the work would be done in 6 weeks. Nothing came to be. After 6 months, he basically walked off the job with 98% of our money. Per the term of our contract we paid in advance for materials so that they could be ordered. Kitchen cabinets, wood flooring, and quartz counter tops were not delivered on time and only after we paid money advances, that were not per the terms of the contract. Most of the work done was substandard. 1. Tile in the mudroom and powder room floor was not installed properly (see pictures). 2. Appliances were not installed correctly or not at all. 3. Wood floors were not installed correctly 4. Jack and Jill bathroom floor tile was not installed correctly. 5. Master bathroom was never completed and shower tile was a disaster. 6. Thresholds where wood and tile floors meet were uneven and never completed. We paid for materials, which were never delivered: master bath vanity, countertop for vanity 2 toilets, shower fixtures, sinks, faucets, glass for shower, backsplash and much more. His workers complained to us that they were not being paid on time due to the fact that we were not giving Andrew monies per the terms of our contract. In fact we made every payment as scheduled, paid for all changes we wanted as the remodel progressed and advanced monies with the fear if we did not, work would stop. He promised me he would finish the job and fix what was wrong. He never responded to calls and emails. We finally made contact with Andrew and he told us he under estimated the cost of our remodel and he was out of money and would likely file for bankruptcy. Not one room was completed. I have dozens of pictures. I had to hire another contractor to rip out and fix the poor installation. Please be careful. Read all reviews and check BBB and the Monroe County Court website.

    Frontline Remodeling
Frontline Remodeling, Brad Norbut went above and beyond for my family and our home, by far one of the best personal contractors we have ever worked with. He was very understanding to our situation and the difficulties we faced.  In January, my family experienced a house fire that destroyed our top floor bedrooms, roof, trusses, fireplace/chimney, and smoke damage through out the house.  Brad came that very morning, dealt with our tears, crazy emotions, and got right on the job of getting us an estimate of all the damage, as well as his sub-contractors coming through right away as well. It was an easy decision to choose Brad to work with us, based on his past work and the support he showed us that very day. He made us feel comfortable while working with him through the whole process and so easy going with all our questions. He made time for us to ensure that we were happy from start to finish. Brad and his crew was always on time, on the job when stated. Brad was great to communicate with, quick replys, answered every question, every concern, even during weekends when we needed walk throughs. His crew was clean, organized,  very efficient, and we felt welcomed and comfortable coming and going through out the process.
The time frame the insurance had givien us for our home to be done was 6 months.  A long hard 6 months to be away from our home.  But Brad felt that and new how bad we wanted to get back in, and my personal goal was before gardening season, which Brad dully noted and easily met!!! The fire was january 11, and Brad had us moving back into our home April 22nd, which is absolutely amazing! Everything through out the whole house, the whole process, done to 100% satisfaction, we would, and will be hiring only Frontline Remodeling for any further projects. Amazing job well done!

Page Countryside - Kitchen,Bath and Appliances

They came and measured the kitchen.  Went to the shop and picked out cabinets, floor, sink, faucet, etc.  We were presented with a price and contract.  We went ahead.

Workmen came in for the demo of the kitchen.  All OK.  The install began.  Workmanship was sloppy.  The workman was a subcontractor and his helper was a subcontractor of the workman.  A soffit was torn out and all the insulation behind it.  Cabinets were put up.  We later discovered we had cold air blow out between cabinets in the winter.  At least the glasses are prechilled.  Then we find out that they won't do plaster work in a spot where the soffit was. We had to hire someone else.  Also had to hire our own electrician to add some outlets I wanted.

The sill plates at the doors are obnoxiously large and not cut to fit to the doorway.  Then we find out that they "forgot" the baseboard molding and we had to pay another $400.  Oh and we "forgot" the door handles and drawer pulls, another $500, and they are not even around they room.  You can see some handles a little crooked, some a little higher than others.

Very shoddy work.  No up front notice that they won't do all the work?  Added costs to a signed contract?  I would not recommend these clowns to my worst enemy.
