    Absolute Home Inspection
Tom's great. This is the second home he inspected for me. The first home - he found maybe 50K worth of work, probably more. Some of it was obvious, a lot of it was not. That's why you get Tom. The first home eventually sold to a friend of a friend. That person is now in renovation ****. The person apparently didn't realize the extent of work that was needed. Small things too like vents not matching up where they should, wiring that needs to be replaced, tiny spots of asbestos. The realtor for the project screamed at me (literally) that Tom wasn't any good. I guess not for her, I bagged on the deal and another sucker bought the house through another realtor. The new house inspection went smoothly. Found some rot, some problem areas for moisture and a bump in the roof. Nothing that's close to being a show stopper though. Walking on the inspection with Tom is like going to school. Just watch and listen. If I close on the house, I have my punch list ready to go for what's needed immediately and what's on the wish list. I'm sure lots of home inspectors are great. I really like Tom and will continue to use him.

Dan (from the East Syracuse "Syracuse Inspections and Property Services, Inc.) did an amazing job. He was so thorough and gave very helpful explanations of all the potential issues and what was worth addressing immediately vs. down the line. There are also many great inclusions with the service including warranties & recall alerts for appliances. I would highly recommend this inspection business!

    Hands on Home Inspections LLC
I actually needed to have the same house inspected twice after our seller's failed to hire a licensed contractor to make repairs, and utilized a handy neighbor to make the required repairs instead. Ryan was so thorough, and in a case like ours (where we were spending more money in an area without comparable home prices), we were incredibly thankful for his knowledge and care. The house was about 3200 sqft and situated on nearly 6 acres, so he had to cover a lot of ground and he completed the initial inspection in about 3 hours. The inspector who inspected the house we just sold in another state took the same amount of time on a much smaller house situated on a zero acre lot. His timing is reasonable and necessary. I appreciated that his company was also able to accommodate water and septic testing that same day, which was a requirement of our lender. His report was available by COB the same day as the inspection, and the water/septic test was back within a week. I'd use this company again and again, and I'd recommend it to anyone else who wants to ensure the value of their potential investment.

Tom and Miles were both excellent inspectors, it was very clear that they have extensive experience and knowledge in all areas of a home inspection. They were able to identify all areas of concern as well as answer the questions I had. I feel extremely confident in the information they gave me, and they acted professionally and friendly. I highly recommend Tyler Home Inspections for your needs.

    Tyler Home Inspection Inc
Very well, extremely knowledgeable and they were THOROUGH, down to doing the Radon testing using two separate devices to ensure the accuracy of readings The best part is that they ENCOURAGED me to ask questions and they make sure you understand the what and why of the inspection process. They also gave me a list with recommended maintenance intervals for key areas of the new home

Dan Hager from Tyler Home Inspections came to my house and did what seemed to to be a very thorough inspection. This is only my third home inspection, so I admit that I don't have a large comparison sample, but I was very favorably impressed. Dan was friendly, professional, and answered all of my questions. I liked that he wasn't in a hurry to just do the job and leave -- he really appeared to care about giving me the best information possible. I chose to not have him do thermography assessment to assess heat loss from the house because the temperature differential between the inside and outside of the house was too slight. The cost of my inspection included the inspection itself ($380) and the cost of a radon test ($150). If I had chosen to include the thermography assessment, it would have added another $150 to the total cost.

    CRAFTSMAN HOME INSPECTION SERVICE
Peter was there 15 minutes early and began looking at the outside of the house. Explaining in detail issues that needed to be rectified and also giving us an idea of the cost involved in the repair. He was so thorough and patient. Pointing out the positives and the negatives. We felt comfortable enough to ask questions and for further explanations. We were very impressed with his knowledge.
