    Crystal Run Healthcare
Dr. Tomlinson was very thorough and had a great bedside manor.  He explained things to me and took his time.  He sent me for an MRI of my shoulder which was bothering me.  I had 4 prior surgeries from other orthopedists.  He said that he really didn't think another surgery would help with anything.  I had a lot of scar tissue from the previous surgeries.  He advised me to do exercises at home.  He told me if I had any other problems to call him.

    Peter Won MD
He combines the best of western and holistic medicine, and he takes a step-by-step approach as opposed to jumping right into surgery. On my last visit he worked on my lower lumbar stenosis issue, gave me a shot and some acupuncture, and also some exercises to do.

    Bonavoglia, Dr. Joseph
Dr. Joe is very gifted at neurosoma massage. This technique is like no massage technique that is being practiced. It should be considered something other than massage work because unlike swedish massage or so-called "deep tissue" massage you will not only feel better when you leave his office but your body will continue to feel better after the lactic acid has been removed from the muscle spindles and flushed through your liver. In my opinion it is very important to understand the basic physiology behind what is happening in your body as a result of this massage work. For the first three or four days after you receive neurosoma treatment you will feel sore as the lactic acid that has been trapped in the muscle spindles gets released and enters your blood stream. Your body will produce histamine as a result of the massage and this can also cause some soreness. However, after your body has adjusted to the affects of the treatment you will, day by day, start to feel better and better and more and more pain free. This technique works like nothing you have ever experienced before without drugs and without a regimen of special stretches that you have to do at home. It helps the body heal itself. Getting worked on by Dr. Joe is as easy as telling him where you are feeling pain, lying on his table and having him perform the massage technique (work). I am still amazed and indebted to Thomas Griner for developing this technique and also indebted to Dr. Joe for learning how to perform it.

    Island Sports Therapy
I've had PT many times before, so I think I'm a good judge of whether or not a PT place is right for me or not and is a professional environment. Island Sports Care is both. I don't think anyone really likes to be in the position to have to go to PT, but Eric and the rest make the experience quite pleasant. The atmosphere inside the treatment room is never tense, never unhappy. The PT staff, students, and assistants are completely professional -- every patient is treated with respect and care. The tone here is very tranquil, and patients happily work towards their goals. The reception area is large with plenty of chairs. What I don't like is the loud television on every time I come in. I wish we could go back to the days when people read a magazine in the waiting room -- why am I subjected to some idiot program at a loud volume? I pray twice a week that I will be taken to the treatment room within seconds. As most of the people I've seen in the waiting room are my age (55) and older, I would bet that they are thinking what I think but are too polite to say something. I'm not polite: ditch the tv or turn it down -- WAY down: few people are watching it -- trust me. The staff is fine -- however, there is a newish receptionist/assistant (she's Filipina, I think.) who can't wait to answer the phone whether you're standing in front of her in the middle of a word or a sentence or whatever. I spent years in retail and in reception and I just KNOW that one doesn't abandon a conversation or transaction with a living person to answer a phone. She HAS to learn this or else she will offend a large part of your demographic (in the last 4 months during my biweekly visits, I've seen mostly people over 50, and we over-50 folk were brought up to let the telephone ring if there was a human being we were engaged in talking to. Even if times have changed, I think the person standing at the desk has to be dealt with before the unnamed person on the phone first.) The receptionist should learn how to say "Island Sports Care. Could you hold, please?" and THEN finish her transaction with the human being. THEN she can go to the voice on the phone and handle that problem AFTER the living human being has been seen to. This problem needs to be addressed before it becomes part of the culture of the Island Sports Care office.

Evolve Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation
I like their flexibility, good workout, and they are very professional. I am happy with them just the way they are. They get the job done in a small amount of time as possible. Everything is by appointment. The environment is pleasant. It is not beautiful but it's effective. It is fine. The staff and their punctuality are excellent. I think they are effective. I have no problem with their billing. It really is a special place. It has been taking care of me for a long time.

Denville Medical & Sports Rehab Center
I have gotten chronic migraines since I was eight years old. Finally, it was after an informational workshop that I attended that i learned that Denville Medical could help rid me of my pain. After the work shop and speaking with one of the doctors i decided to make an appointment. Before I even came in for my visit, the office called on my benefits from my insurance. I knew what my copay was going to be and what my insurance was going to cover before I even stepped in the door, which was extremely helpful. Then, the front desk was extremely welcoming when i came in. It made me feel at home right away. The doctors were very kind and listened to all my needs. They were patient and looked at me as an individual, not just another patient. After I was examined by the medical doctor, adjusted by the chiropractor, had physical therapy I was asked if i wanted a free consultation with the Naturopathic Doctor. I then sat down with her and she took my Body Composition and told me a few things I should change to obtain optimal health. I did not realize that all these different factors were reasons for why I was getting headaches every other day. It was so wonderful to go to one facility and see five different types of doctors in one visit. It made my life so much easier, and i am finally headache free.

    Reddy Care Physical Therapy
They definitely explain things to you. I like the fact that they really work with you and don?t say that this is the way it has to be and do it that way. If you are having pain or something, then they work to abbreviate the pain. They think out of the box and use new methods. I will be there again tomorrow.
