  • I claimed the deal, called the company two days later. I had to go out of town, but still had access to my messages. When I came home five days later, I called again and still did not get a response. As of today August 24, I still have heard nothing.

  • Doug was very helpful in answering questions on upkeep. He pointed out some landscape timbers which were rotting which we couldn't see because bushes were so overgrown. A few days later he also gave an estimate on some other work we wanted to get done spring of 2017. We were very pleased.

  • The work completed by Rainbow went very well, and we are completely satisfied. The company made the process effortless for my husband and I. We were not charged with the task of having to locate the electrical (ground) lines. They had a company do this a few days prior to installation. My husband was present when the work was completed, it took one day, and he said the guys were very professional. Due to the busy season, it was difficult to nail down a date for the service. However, working with Mary was a pleasure. And, anytime I spoke with someone, the professionalism was always top notch. My husband and I had a few contracts to review for the service. We chose Rainbow due to; having a date that was convenient for us, the price was the absolute best and the prework was done for us. This was important to us, as he and I both have been traveling for work. I am so glad by husband stumbled upon this company,. They made, what I thought was impossible, possible! $2,000 for new installation to replace an existing was well worth it!

  • A gentleman from this company came to my home on May 2, 2016 to complete an estimate to repair lawn sprinklers.  

    I was told "he had to discuss the needs & show pictures to his boss and I should hear something in 1 week". I did not receive a call as indicated. Two weeks lapsed and I called the office. I was placed on hold for a few minutes and then told someone would have to call me back, (that day). I did not receive a call back, and called backed a few days later. During that call, my paperwork was found and I was told the gentlemen that came to my house no longer worked there, and my paperwork got lost in the shuffle. I was understanding to this issue, and wanted to move forward working with AJ. I was given the estimate for my repair's $775.  I needed to speak with my husband, and advised I would call after return of my vacation, which was the beginning of Jun. I called AJ upon my return. I called to ask if someone could give me the price for new installation vs. repair. Again, I was told someone would call me back, (that day), I did not get a call that day or anytime thereafter.

    Today, it's well over 1 month since the initial estimate, and I can not get anyone to call back to discuss services at my home.  I understand it's a busy time of the season. However, customer service should never suffer due to this. A return call, with a solid commitment to follow up on my questions is all I ask. I work in the customer service industry and understand the demands of the day can get overwhelming. However, although my shift ends at 5:30pm, I have made calls well beyond that time to meet the needs of my customers.

    At this point, due to the lack of follow up, I no longer would like the service of AJ. Not sure what the responsiveness will be if the work commenced.

  • It went so much better than I expected. My wife has family in the landscaping business and I would use chameleon every single time. They took their time they were meticulous. The results were so much better than I ever had done before and so much better than expected. I usually get a call from my wife complaining about the work I get done. I did get a call from her this time as well but this time she was thrilled and extremely impressed. Of all the lawns in my neighborhood I would say the year end work I had done looks the best. And I can't wait for the season change to really see the improved landscaping at my home.

  • They did a great job. They were punctual, friendly, professional, They cleaned up everything when they were done and took away all the branches they cut, etc. It was in the 90's the day they came and they still worked hard all day. They even washed out the glasses and bowls I gave them with drinks and snacks. They owed me a few hours' work when it was all done and they came back to do a few more things to complete the hours. Excellent.

  • Absolutely perfect! Doug is one of the best individuals that I've ever hired (and I hire a lot of people). He is not only a very nice person, but he offers great suggestions. He and his crew show up on schedule and work exactly as planned. There are very few companies that I would refer to others, but Delanson Gardens is at the top of the list!

  • Punctual, efficient, professional. I've hired them before for a small job and would hire them again in a heartbeat. Estimate was right in line with others I received.

    Appreciated they waited until the ground was dry to drive on my lawn. Minimal damage.

  • They were a little slow coming to give an estimate and could not schedule the job until two weeks after the estimate, but I went with them because they had the cheapest price and offered the crane service which sounded the best since the tree was inconveniently located near a busy road and our fence.

  • Rob called me the night before to let me know what time he would be arriving. We were at work while the work was being done, but the landscaping looked 100% better. All debris was cleaned up and removed.
