    Feldman, Dr. Hal D.
My family and I have treated with many physicians in the Township of Huntington. Dr. Feldman is "exceptionally knowledgeable and talented" while maintaining a caring bedside manner. His outstanding reputation proceeds him. I have and will continue to refer friends, family and coworkers knowing I am providing them the opportunity to have exceptional care. Thank you Dr Feldman! Hospital for Special Surgery
Nursing staff and PA's were beyond excellent. Everyone was nice. The aids varied. Some aids were superior in work ethic and quality of care and some just ok - but none were bad. PT was good with exercises, walking and stairs, but I wasn't really ready to go home to get in and out of bed - PT didn't focus on that at all really and has been really problematical at home. The Education Seminar really didn't prepare enough for challenges of going home after surgery - so that the home could be prepared. As for after surgery it focused on exercises, socks, commodes, and reaching yes. Unfortunately Sleeping needs sitting and laying down needs not focused on enough, other than the purchase of a cushion and toilet seat. The idea of having the education seminar was great, just could help more with the 24 our issues of sleeping or sitting. Hospital was absolutely immaculate. One person was nicer than the next. Not a mean person among the hospital staff I encountered bed side. They did a great job with pain management, with the exception when nurses had to line up to get medicine disbursed, and when a nurse from another floor who was working my floor had to get permission from a superior who was not immediately available, to get meds - the meds were unnecessarily delayed and pain increased. Thee were many exceptional nurses, I'd like to give a shout out to Colleen and to Whitney who were beyond exceptional.

    Wayne Altman MD
If you go on Yelp, there are negative reviews, and it is not true, I have gone to this guy for years. I think people go in and whine a lot. It is not fair. There is nothing that I don't like about him. He took care of my kid when he was in football and broken in bits and pieces, and I needed to have a knee replacement. He doesn't have a good bedside manner, but he is a great doctor. Whenever I have wanted to see him, I have been able to see him within a week, or immediately for an emergency. The wait time is just 10 minutes of your appointed time.

Dr. Kayiaros is a great doctor and all through my recovery I have met many people are singing his praises. This is my second knee replacement and this experience is 100 times better.

    Livingston, Dr. Lawrence I
Dr. Livingston did an excellent job with both my surgeries. I felt that he knew what he was doing. I have no complaints at all and everything was fine. My son had used Dr. Livingston a few years ago and he did an excellent job with my son's injury too. I had to pick somebody and so I chose him. My overall experience with him was excellent. His availability, bedside manner, communication were all excellent. The effectiveness of his treatment was marvelous. I never had a problem with the billing and administration. Everything was excellent.

    Haas, Dr. Steven B
He designed the titanium replacement knee that fused for me. He does minimal invasive surgery, so I have a scar that is maybe 1/3 of the size that someone with a similar procedure would have. I'm now about 10 months post-surgery and I play squash, swim 10,000 yards a week and do a spinning class twice a week. Not bad for someone who is almost 70 and just had a knee replacement! Dr. Haas is a personable guy and his staff is great as well.

    Fealy, Stephen
Dr. Fealy was very good at putting me at ease on the procedure. Also he was accessible throughout the process from beginning to end. He was very informative at what was going to be done and he even provided additional resources for information pertaining to the procedure.

Orthopedic And Sports Associates Of Long Island
I have been seeing him for over 5 years now. He is very, very knowledgeable. He is also conservative. He doesn't go for the most aggressive approach. He tries less aggressive approaches first and if they don't work, then he goes up.
