    Matt responded quickly and did a great job. The flood was just days before Christmas, but he put in all the time and effort necessary to get the job done right. Matt is a very nice guy and we were comfortable having him and his workers in the house while we were at work. Our insurance paid for his work.

    First and foremost, I am very satisfied with the quality of work. The fix was properly done. Unfortunately, that's where my good experience ends. I had a leaking pipe above my hvac ducts. An employee came to my house and was there for an hour and 15 minutes. He assessed the situation and said it was impossible to tell where the leak was coming from until he removed the hvac duct. He said the job could take anywhere from 3-8 hours depending on how much of the duct work had to be removed. I asked for an estimate on the worst case scenario (an all day job) and he said that if it took all day, the job would cost 1000 dollars. He said he would come at 830 the next day to start working.


    My wife took the day off to be home while the work is done. The next day comes and he shows up at 9:45. Being that late was not a great start. After an hour of work, he asks my wife if she wants coffee and leaves the house. Presumably he went to get a part for the job, but he should have gotten coffee on his time. He was gone for nearly an hour. He comes back and finishes the job. It's now 12:40. My wife texts me he's done and goes to work.


    I get home and the leak is gone, and the hvac ducts are back where they should be. As I said, I am very happy with the work done. Then 3 weeks go by and I get my invoice. They billed me 45 dollars for the part and 950 dollars in labor (9.5 hours at 100 bucks an hour). I'm confused. Between the two days, he was at my house for 3 hours and 15 minutes and getting coffee and parts the other hour. There has to be a mistake. I call the company to ask about this. The person I spoke to became rude in about 30 seconds. He wanted to add the time up with me. He starts on day one and says his employee was dispatched to my hourse at 1:45 and was off the clock at 4:30. I told him that the guy left my house at 3:15. I didn't understand why I was expected to pay for his remaining hour and 15 minutes. That's when the guy on the phone started yelling at me. He told me that any other company would have charged me $2000 for the same job and I should be happy to only pay $1000. He then asked me what I thought a fair price would be. I told him that I was more than happy to pay for the hours he was actually working, which by my calculations was about 4.5 hours (I even included the time he went to get coffee. I don't know that he got a part. I would like to think a plumber would come to a leaking pipe job with a copper supply pipe. But who knows). He started yelling more and said he wouldn't bicker with me over hours. He literally said, "so you want to pay 500 dollars? Is that what you want? Is that really what you want?" I thought that was fair so I agreed (even though I know he was being sarcastic. I felt like he was trying to bully me into paying the full 1000 dollars)


    I ended up paying 540 dollars. 4.5 hours of labor at 100 dollars an hour, 45 for the part, and tax.. My entire phone conversation lasted 4 minutes. (I checked the call log before writing this so I could put the exact number). It literally took me 4 minutes to lower my bill by 500 dollars. They knew they were over billing me. If they thought for one second that the bill was correct, the call would have lasted a h*** of a lot longer than four minutes. But, despite being wrong, he was rude and yelled at me anyway.


    This is the second bad review I've ever written (the first was a restaurant on Yelp), but feel it is warranted. It's a shame too because the work was done well. However, because they had the stones to write an invoice that showed 9.5 hours of work when only 4.5 was done, yelled at me when I asked them to explain the bill, conceded that I was right within 4 minutes, and billed me for coffee runs, I will not be using this company again under any circumstances.

    I had called the plumbing to fix an issue of a water leak on my first floor bath ceiling. I had done some initial work and spotted that the second floor bathroom screw was leaking water and that the gasket/washer was ok. The plumbing effort involved ratifying my find and identified the issue as the screw being lose. This is fine, but what shocked me was the amount of $158 (99 is just to come home and the rest is the service fee) that I had to pay for a 5 minute job. It literally was 5 mins and settling the payment took more time than the issue itself. I also found that the provider was not very forthcoming in the answers to follow up if the issue resurfaces.

    Matt was very responsive to our call for help and immediately instituted measures to mitigate the effects of flooding in our basement. He explained what needed to be done to remedy the damage and deal with issues related to mold. He also provided professional advice on ways to keep our basement dry and free from further damage (e.g., placement of our humidifier in basement, need to obtain a humidifier that covered more square footage). We really appreciated Matt's (and his crew) professionalism, reliability, and hard work. They were there when we needed them and they did an excellent job in addressing our basement flooding. So pleased with the job and plan to use CleanBright Surface Restoration in the near future to waterproof our basement walls.

    Mike came on the dates & times he set up..He made numerous follow up calls to see how the process was going & if we had any new concerns or promblems.  His price was reasonable compared to other places we contacted

    To keep this short the best thing anybody can do in their life is not use this business. This was the worst experience in our life he is the biggest LIAR most unprofessional person ever have dealt with in my life.  Also the people he has working for him talk about him behind his back. And the people he hires had to come back to redo things several times because there work was bad. Cannot even  explain how unprofessional he was with continued calls to me with lies wanted money up front no work done for two weeks at a time. To many bad experiences to mention don't know how he runs this business and keeps it.    
      
    This statement is written by my son whose house it is and had to deal with him but I also spoke to him.

    Matt is great. Starting from my I initial email to him he was very responsive and super helpful. He came out fast to give us and estimate. No long wait. Then as our project needs evolved based on other factors, he answered tons of questions and was flexible enough to change scope and method as we needed. Once we decided on the final plan he was able to get in quickly and do the work. He was on time and he and his brother are great guys. They communicated well during the job and were honest and transparent about any small issues that arose. They did the job well and left the site in great condition. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs these services. Thank you Matt!

    Rik showed up exactly as agreed and I liked him immediately.  He was professional and looked like an honest person with which to do business.  We discussed the work I wanted done and he provided a quote and proposal of work within a 24 hour time period.

    On the day the job was to be started, Rik arrived with his 3 man crew to begin the work.  They were well prepared and ready to do the agreed upon work.  The job took a little longer than we thought to be completed, but this was due to weather and to the fact that Rik fell ill and required hospitalization for a medical emergency. 

    The final result of the workmanship and skills demonstrated by CREATIVE STONE WORK BY STONE WALL MASONRY INC was a beautifully restored and protected (sealed) by application of the Surface Master product that Rik and I discussed on that first day. 

    My only regret is not knowing Rik 's condition or if was able to recover from his medical emergency.  We hope he is well again and back to work, because his professionalism and masonry skills are second to none!

    We called Quick Response after discovering that we had a burst pipe that had soaked some first floor interior walls and flooded the basement, leaving several inches of water in the basement. 
    The reason we originally called Quick Response is that a plumber who we had called to repair the pipe insisted that we needed to clear out the water before before he could safely make repairs.   When we called Quick Response, an operator answered and took our basic information and somebody followed up with us 5-10 minutes later.   That individual said someone would be there in 1.5 to 2 hours and they'd call when they were on their way.    After waiting over two hours and not getting the call to say they were on their way, we called the operator back to check on status; she said somebody would call us back shortly.  Several minutes later, somebody called us back and stated it'd be yet another hour before they'd arrive.  With few other options, we said that was okay.
    About fifteen minutes into that hour wait, a different individual called back and clarified what services we actually wanted performed.  He stated that if all we really wanted done was the basement pumped then we really should just go to Home Depot and buy a $200 sump pump because they might charge upwards of $1000 for doing *just* that.  He clarified that really they're more in the business of full restorations and would take care of everything (plumping,repairing the walls, etc) so it wasn't cost effective to have them only pump out the basement.   We appreciated the straightforward assessment, but we were still left with a flooded basement and we didn't have 100% confidence our insurance would cover their full services so we couldn't commit to having them perform more services at that exact moment.  He gave us some confidence insurance should cover it, but we needed more information.   We would have appreciated having that conversation three hours earlier.
    A few hours later in the evening, we determined our insurance would cover the services and we called them in order to schedule a visit the next day since we were exhausted and luckily had somewhere else to stay for the night.  They said they'd call back in the morning to give us an exact time for the visit.  After noon passed on the following day, we decided to start calling other restoration providers.
    Overall, Quick Response contributed towards us loosing a good portion of our weekend with little progress towards resolving our problems.  We understand they were very busy due to similar calls but a quality company needs to meet timelines and communicate especially in near-emergency like ours.  The reason I gave them a decent rating in the Professionalism category is because they were honest about their costs and generally polite on the phone.

    It was excellent. It was a Sunday morning and they came in right away and got started. The only hang up in the whole thing was the interaction with the insurance company so it was the insurance company's fault. They came quickly and they finished it in a couple of days.We had to move fast so I didn't have time to make price comparisons but it seemed like an okay price.
