Dr Baldauf is difficult to get in to see the first time but the wait is worth it. He takes the time to do a thorough exam and listens to what you tell him. He identified the problem as arthritis after a thorough exam and did not rush to a conclusion.

Daughter had chronic ingrown toenail issues. We didn't know quite what to expect and thought we would probably discuss options. Dr. Feldman made a suggestion of an approach, we said OK, and he got right to work: local anesthesia, minor removal of a portion of the toenail, and she was out of there. It was a bit inconvenient since my daughter couldn't play ice hockey for a week (longer than predicted), but the procedure needed to be done; there would have been no better time; and the result was good.

Dr. Bell is always pleasant and he is wonderful to work with. His gentle disposition always makes me comfortable and puts me at ease. My feet are always very happy when we leave his office! He is an excellent doctor.

Upon my arrival, I was greeted nicely. The forms filled out the doctor saw me. Right on time!
After an unhurried consultation some exams and x-rays I again saw Dr. Baldauf and was given some clear explanations of the medical issues and some recommendations. No big sales job, no big rush, just some simple shoe inserts with additions the Doctor custom made himself to alleviate the particular issues I was having. I see him again in a month but have trust in his judgment and look forward to walking without discomfort soon.

I was a new patient, went in for my scheduled appointment. When I went up to the front desk to sign in and complete the necessary paper work, receptionist was very rude, she made me feel like I was a nuisance to her, her telephone and people skills were very poor to say the least, she rushed me when taking me back to the room where I was going to see the doctor in, the doctor on the other hand was great, very personable, and took great care of my foot, however because of how I was treated by the receptionist I won't be going back.

My experience was very good. Dr. Friedman was able to schedule me in pretty quickly. He was pleasant, professional, and communicated what he was doing. The treatment was effective - relatively little pain, no infection, healed and now they look fine. As I recall the office was very clean. I can't recall any other staff because it was quite a while ago.

I was able to get an appointment within two weeks, despite not having an emergency. He examined and x-rayed the bunion, but my real annoyance was with the 2nd toe, which is a developing hammertoe. I had done some on-line research (he also has a good website) and thought I would need a bunionectomy to provide a long term remedy to the increasingly uncomfortable hammer toe. He confirmed my suspicions, but since I've had the bunion for 40 years and there is no pain from that, I preferred to avoid a bunionectomy. He wrapped my foot with some light padding and stretchy gauze and scheduled a follow-up appointment. During the 2nd appointment, I inquired about minor surgery to cut the tendon under the hammertoe. It is much simpler and results in little and quot;downand quot; time, in comparison to the bunionectomy. I asked if I was a good candidate for this and Dr. Berkowitz said we could try it. He was clear that it would not provide a long term solution since the bunion is what appears to be causing the hammertoe, but said that it might straighten the hammertoe out and provide years of relief. I felt he was completely honest about not being able to guarantee total relief but I am willing to try this first to avoid the bunionectomy. This minor surgery is not scheduled until July.
With respect to the toenail fungus and minor ankle injury, there doesn't appear to be anything further to do about them, at this point in time.

It is a relax atmosphere. He is knowledgeable. He is willing to answer questions and has good sense of humor. I would recommend him to others. The sense of humor balance out with the knowledge in his field that's a reassuring feeling.
