    Lance's Hauling is outstanding. I've used them for large and small projects alike. First time I shopped around and collected estimates. Lance met or beat all other estimates without haggling. More importantly in my estimations, they are reliable and professional. The latest two jobs included moving a refrigerator, packed boxes, and much more heavy "stuff" from a basement that nearly filled a long trailer and truck. A year later they came back to remove a mattress, box springs, and some garage junk. The store I purchased the new mattress from gave me a discount with a nationally known junk hauling service, but Lance beat their cost substantially and came for the pickup the same day that I called! On both jobs Lance's was a pleasure work with. I recommend him and his crew to anyone that needs a job done right, reliably, and for a fair price.

    Lance and his crew did an awesome job. Despite today's near blizzard conditions, they all arrived on time! Because of the weather conditions, it was not possible to get the vehicle all the way to the house... so they packed a truckload of furniture, heavy boxes, and bags to it. They first sized up the job and went immediately to work. All I had to do was point to it. Some items were in the garage, but most of the heavy material was in the basement, so that meant carrying items upstairs. They formed an assembly line and made quick work of it. Nearly a truckload in about 30 minutes from walking into the house until driving away. The price was quite reasonable - actually a bargain considering the weather conditions. Lance and his crew were each experienced, careful, polite, friendly, respectful, and good workers! I'll be a repeat customer and give them my highest recommendations.

    I was told that they recycled anything that could be recycled but I don't think anything they threw into the truck was going to be recyclable, which included a piano keyboard. They just piled everything on top of everything else; bad on good, so to speak. I was desperate because I had a deadline to meet. I would only hire them again if I was just getting rid of junk.

    They didn't spend the entire amount of time that they were supposed to here. They said the truck was already full so they had to leave. But as far as what they actually brought up from my basement and took out was fine. They did say they were going to recycle some of it for us which we thought was nice. One of the things that stood out was that they stick stood around and chatted with my husband, I finally said, 'The clock is ticking...' It was okay. They did what they were supposed to do but I wouldn't say they were industrious about it. The quality was good.

    Showed up on time for estimate, gave all details making me comfortable with planned removal. Showed up day of removal on time with three man crew. Crew worked incredibly hard, removed hot tub and cleaned up debris. Very happy with service provided.

    The company responded to my email very promptly.  I had a smaller pile than what they would normally grab, but because of my proximity they gave me a fair price and were literally there within a few hours!  They were prompt, friendly and swept the area which was a bonus I was not expecting!  Any other junk hauler would have left scraps, leaves, etc.  For a busy mother who doesn't have time to wait around for return calls or to chat on the phone, this service was excellent!  Thank you JDog!

    Came same day to provide estimate. 2 days later came and removed all material. Price was the same as a roll off I had previously rented but, in this case, they did all the work of loading the items for haul away.

    Wonderful experience!  On time, friendly, professional, organized, efficient, quick, reasonably priced- and they recycle, too.  HIGHLY recommend- you will not be disappointed.  Joe and Jeff arrived bright and early.  Joe gave a ballpark estimate and then began methodically separating items into containers, piles, or recyclables which Jeff carried to truck.  Once the porch was done and swept, Joe asked if there was anything else.  I mentioned the garage "stuff" I had procrastinated on and he gave good estimate.  He asked about each item "go or stay?" and even asked about items I had not noticed, but were glad to get rid of!  Jeff carried them away, with Joe helping at the end.
    I was impressed by how quickly everything got removed and floors swept-- and happily surprised at the final price!  One could tell these two men have been working together long enough to create an organized, efficient system.  Not only was it great to have the items removed, it was a pleasure to meet such good hard-working people.  We look forward to working with them in the future. Again- would HIGHLY recommend; you will not be disappointed.

    Lance and his team were great. They  called early on the appointed day to confirm. they came right on time, they went right to work, and they were done in less than one hour. They swept out the garage when they were done. Very personable and efficient. No problems at all.

    We specifically hired the Clean-Out King for this job because he advertises that he donates usable items to local charities rather than throwing them in the garbage. We had appointments scheduled with 2 charities to pick up the furniture, but we needed the house emptied sooner than their volunteers could come. The business owner came and gave us as estimate, assuring us that all usable items would be donated. In fact, he wrote that on our contract which also stated we would receive a donation receipt for tax purposes. He also mentioned that he operates a used furniture store and sometime buys furniture to resell in his store. After looking at the furniture, he told us there was nothing that he wanted to buy. That was fine with us, as it was our desire to donate everything to charity.
    On the day of the clean out, the crew arrived 30 minutes early. We were advised not to stay for the clean out process, as it can be emotional. We couldn't stay due to work obligations, anyway. It took the crew about 3.5 hours and when we returned found the house completely empty and swept clean. We were completely satisfied with what we saw and even gave the owner a generous tip. We did receive a donation receipt from one local charity.
    The next day, we looked at the donation receipt more closely and noticed that many pieces of furniture were not listed. We understood some upholstered furniture could not be donated and was thrown out, but many of the better-quality pieces of furniture were not listed. Something made us look at the Facebook page for the owner's resale furniture store, Urban Restyle, in Schenectady, NY. Sure enough, pictures of a dresser and china cabinet from the house were there. We went to the store and confronted the owner in person. He had all kinds of excuses that made no sense. After all, his truck with all the furniture did go to the charity (The Habitat for Humanity Restore) and drop off some furniture. There is no reason why it couldn't have dropped off all the furniture at that time.
    In the end he promised to deliver the rest of the furniture to charity. He did, indeed, deliver the two pieces we specifically saw on Facebook. However, a couple weeks later he posted more pieces of furniture for sale on Facebook (with prices, they had not been on display in the store when we visited, but in the warehouse). This time we contacted him by email. He refused to admit that any furniture from our house was for sale.
    We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and he responded by saying everything had been donated to charity. However, since then he has posted more Facebook pictures of his store with items from the house for sale! We've given him ample opportunity to correct the situation (either donate the rest of the items to charity and provide a receipt to us or refund part of the fee we paid). We feel we have no choice now but to begin leaving reviews online so that others can see his dishonesty.
    If you just want items removed from your home, and you don't care what happens to them, then this business might be fine for you (I don't know how his fee compares to other junk removal services, though). However, he cannot be trusted and shows no remorse at cheating needy people in his hometown out of charitable donations. It's hard to understand why someone would jeopardize the reputation of their business in this way. I'm sure the 5 star reviews would have given him if he did what he promised would have been worth more to his business than whatever money he makes from selling our furniture.
