They have been very good. They are primarily in-house rehab, but they also do hearing aids and ancillary things like that. It's in the middle of a rehab center, so it's a busy environment. That occasion when I was over there with her and one other occasion about a year ago; everybody has been very professional and very helpful particularly with an elderly person who was very hard of hearing and in moderate dementia. They were very good with her. She has only been over there twice for hearing aid evaluations and fitting. I was only there to be with her while she was going through the process. She will probably use them again in the future.

After a comprehensive hearing exam, the Audiologist said that I had a mild to moderate hearing loss. She recommended that I try behind the ear hearing aids with the speaker in the ear canal. Prices and benefits of different hearing aids were discussed and I was given a 45 day, no risk, evaluation period to try a set. After a couple of weeks, she fitted and programmed the aids for my unique hearing loss pattern. At a couple of followup appointments, she fine tuned the programming based on my feedback and living situation. My immediate and continuing reaction has been that these hearing aids are perfect for me.
These are my third set of hearing aids. My first set of hearing aids made my own voice sound distorted and they did not work very well. The second set had a huge problem with feedback. The newest ones have eliminated both problems and for the first time in my adult life, I feel like I can pick up most of what is going on around me. I credit both improvements in technology and the Audiologist at Center for Hearing for this improvement. At every point in the process, the Audiologist (Terry Russo) was careful to listen to my needs and concerns. She was very responsive to the things that I thought were important, while not loosing sight of the things she knew were important from her experience. She is very professional and clearly knows her craft. She was able to tell me about the prior hearing aids and how improvements in technology could address some of the concerns I had in the past. Although, hearing aids are an investment, this office is set up to make the expense as manageable as possible and a great value overall.
I would highly recommend this office or their office in Clifton Park if you are thinking about hearing aids.
