    Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery

Having recently moved to the Vero Beach, FL area, this appointment was with a new doctor / firm for an annual body check.  I was able to schedule an appointment for the following week.  As with most doctors' office there was the usual "running late," so I had a bit of a wait before being seen.  (Note:  an earlier morning appointment would rectify this - my appointment was the last before lunch break.)   The experience with Dr. Calo was good - properly made introductions, discussion as to why I came in and my concerns.  I made a future appointment for myself and my husband (he had never been to a dermatologist before).  The second appointment was "on time" for both of us.   The office staff, nurses and Dr. Calo are very professional.  We are pleased with our choice of dermatologist.

    Sanctuary!
Saratoga Sports Massage and it's staff are a God send. I have been going there almost two years. The therapists are superior in their field of expertise, extremely dedicated to their art, and takes time to listen to their client's needs and customizes techniques to address the area(s) requiring healing. After each session, I feel extremely relaxed and experience long term relief from lower back issues.

    Saratoga Family Physicians
Saratoga Family Practice provides general practitioner (family) services.  Their health care providers give the patient their full attention and communicate well, in addition to providing patient health education during the visit.  Dr. Farrell is an excellent diagnostician, but does not hesitate to suggest that the patient seek help from a specialist when necessary. Based on my experience, I would recommend them to anyone seeking a general practitioner.

    Noonan, Dr. John
Dr. Noonan is wonderful! He often runs the whole office himself (without a receptionist), so he may have to stop periodically to get the phone. But, he is welcoming and always insists for you to have a cup of coffee or a seat in the massage chair. He is also willing to do more extensive treatment. He asks me if I want to use different machines or if I need any Biofreeze. He is genuinely a sweet man. He loves his family and always is eager to talk about them. He wants his patients to feel better and will go to great lengths to ensure that.

    Osinski, Dr Ryan
Dr. Osinski's practice is lovely. The receptionist is warm and always knows my name. The woman who cleans my teeth is very nice and doesn't try and have a conversation while her hand is in my mouth! I really appreciate that. She is very understanding and sympathetic, and always stops if I wince or need to rinse my mouth or something. Dr. Osinski comes in a timely manner. He makes small talk and then look at my teeth. He is friendly and professional.

They work with you about what they want to do. They're honest about what needs to be done. I've never had any issue there. I've always been happy with the work that they've done. If you have an issue, they get you right in.

    Dr. Keith Donato
I have endured lower back issues for over fifteen years.  A previous chiropractor did regular "adjustments" - ten minutes - which helped somewhat, but did not prevent my back from periodically "going out". When my back went out six weeks ago I started to see Dr. Donato. He did a thorough evaluation including past history.  In the sessions since then he has worked on all the muscle groups from my neck to my knees and I am feeling better - increased flexibility, less tightness.  He has supplied me with a variety of exercises to do on my own including two sets of video exercises which he emailed to me.  We recently went from a weekly to a biweekly appt. schedule. It's too soon to say if this will prevent my back from going out due to muscle strain, but I am feeling better.

    Dweck, Dr. Steven H.
It was fine. He started the implant process for me. The staff is very helpful at explaining things to me. The staff is top notch. I've been going to him for a couple of years. I have no complaints.

    Altmayer, Dr. Stewart R.
Dr Altmayer has been my dermatologist for several years. My overall impression is that, even though his personality is a bit quirky, he is what I would call a and quot;seriousand quot; dermatologist, i.e., his primary concern is to look for skin cancer and he looks you over thoroughly. Many other dermatologists I know are instead into botox and cosmetics and selling skin products. This has been frustrating when I do want to have scalp itch or mild skin rashes looked at and he pretty much poo-poos my concerns in an abrupt manner and says to go get otc products and shampoos. In a similar way, although he will also remove skin tags, he kind of has an attitude that says, well-if-you-insist.
On the other hand, about three years ago, he did find and examined two spots and took a biopsy and they were basal cell carcinomas and he helped get me to someone to have them removed quickly. And that, after all, is why a senior citizen like me mostly wants a dermatologist.
Other things to know: As with most dermatologists, it can take months to get an appointment, unless there's an emergency. Also, even though he is quick in his examination, you can often wait a long time in his waiting room. Another of his quirks is that he doesn't take credit cards.

    Albany Eye Associates
My eyes are much better since my 1st visit 6 months ago. I followed Dr. Sehgal's plan (medicine, tear drops, warm compress), my eyes feel much better. On my last visit he looked at my eyes closely and said they are looking much better. The tear ducts are not as plugged up as they were and my eyes are looking good (no pun intended). I should still use the basic tear drops thruout the day and a hot compress in the morning. The hot compress helps release the material that is plugging up the tear ducts and the drops will help the eye stay lubricated since my ducts are still partially blocked.
