PLEASE READ !!! Warning I was put on benzodiazepines for my PTSD, for 4 years. WRONG!!!!! They switched my meds to Xanax after going through severe withdrawals they switched me back to Valium however anyone with a brain knows that they have a shorter half life. After finding out I have a lump in my throat, I attempted to explain to a certain nurse I wanted a biopsy... keep reading I was referred to Ellis and after losing my father there I said I’d rather die than go to Ellis. Guess what ??????i was confronted with two NYS state troopers that detained me because of this nurse made a fraudulent claim saying I had Guns and was suicidal......I was handcuffed and dragged to Ellis for an evaluation that obviously I proved I was correct Arrested for asking for help? Imagine going through the most mortifying withdrawals for something they prescribed, ask for help than be detained because of asking for help ??? I was handcuffed in front of my neighbors in the new house I bought. Because of a drug that was prescribed??? Uh yes let this be a warning to others please. And believe me I’m not stopping with a review. I will be seeking legal counsel

He was fine. He could never figure out what exactly what was wrong with my knee. He treated what he could and it hasn't me bothered me since then. He is considered for sports medicine. I'm much better than I was.

    Medical Assoc Of Hudson Valley
I've been using MAHV for years (disclosure: I am a personal friend of one of the founding doctors). They are technologically and educationally top rate, constantly training their staff and keeping up to date on medical issues. In addition to adult primary care, they have a broad variety of specialists and are slowly growing their practice size. For Lyme or other infectious diseases, I wouldn't go anywhere else. They take care to hire only excellent doctors. Although they are a relatively large practice, each visit is given the time and care and conversation it needs. Specialist appointments are relatively easy to get. There is simply no comparison to some of the lackluster medical practices in the Hudson Valley. Although I now live 50 miles away, I still make the drive when I need medical attention. My sole complaint is that they need more rigorous telephone followup when a post-visit test result is out of normal range. Using their web portal, I can always check test results online myself, though.

The office staff were very friendly and asked if we needed any coffee or water.  They were very attentive to our needs.  The setting is very comfortable.  Parking was easy.  The audiologist was very knowledgeable, and readily answered my questions in easy to understand terms.  I was informed of what would be done to me while I was there for the exam.

    Klein, Dr. Bruce P.
My husband blew out his knee playing soccer several years ago but didn't get medical treatment at that time. He had been suffering from bouts of knee pain that went away when he wiggled his leg (torn miniscus) but he put off seeing a Doctor until working on a ladder for a few days sent his knee over the edge. Went to our PCP and she said he needed an Orthopedist. She recommended the practice (Canadaigua Orthopaedic Associates) because of her past interactions with them as referring physician and patient. My sister had ACL repair surgery done by Dr. Klein about 20 years ago and highly recommended him. Everyone at the practice was very friendly and helpful. They are the most prompt doctor's office we have ever been to (we have yet to wait more than 10 minutes to see a doctor after entering). Dr. Klein is extremely friendly and clearly spelled out for us what my husband's injuries were and what treatment options he had. It is not exaggeration to say he has the best bedside manner of any doctor we've met . He wasn't pushing one treatment option over another, just gave us the info we needed and told my husband to think it over and let them know what he decided. My husband was able to speak to his PA when he called the office 2 days later with more questions. When he decided on the treatment he wanted Dr. Klein met with us again to go over what would be the procedure for the surgery as well as the steps he needed to take afterwards in order to make a full recovery. The day of the surgery he came out to talk with us before my husband was even admitted to see if we had any other questions or concerns. Dr. Klein checked on my husband several times while he was in the post-surgical recovery area and helped me clear up a billing/insurance error that had delayed a piece of medical equipment my husband needed post-surgery. We have nothing but good things to say about this doctor.

For the first time in years I found a Dr. that gave me hope and was willing to help me with my problem. Dr. White explains every what causes my problem and what can be done to help it. I've had several test done that they do right there. My first procedure I had done was to have Botox shots in my bladder wall. This has helped with that I gotta go this minute feeling. Next week I'm having another procedure done that's hard to explain, but it will help me with the leaking. This one has to be done at the out patient dept. at the hospital because it's for my comfort to be asleep. I survived the Botox shots in the office, but I'll go for easier. All in all I've had 4 appts. so far. It is a 54 mile drive one way to the facillity, but it is so much worth it to be able to feel like a regular person again and not have to change a pad every couple of hours. I had been wearing max strength overnight pads 24/7. Going through a bag of 45 pads every week. The bag I have now it 3wks old and not empty yet.  If you have any urinary problems, this is the place to go.

    Pinyavat, Dr. Alan
I always get a clear opinion from him and steps to take (or not take). If I don't feel like I am getting better in a day or two, I can always contact Dr. Pinyavat to update our treatment plan.
