    RYE COUNTRY BOARDING KENNELS
I have been using Rye Country Boarding Kennels for over 20 years - through the lives of three, now on my fourth dog. They took good care of and quot;Buddyand quot; my cairn terrier, gave him his medicine, and nicely responded to my calls while I was travelling. They were wonderful with my Westies when they were alive - and even extended their stay when my father died while I was on a trip to see my parents. My westies were older at that time and being boarded for three weeks was very h****** them but the staff at Rye Country Boarding Kennels were very nice. And prior to that they were kind to my cocker Spaniel when he stayed with them. Rye is not a and quot;dog spaand quot; but they don't charge outrageous prices either. They are caring and professional and the fact that they will medicate your dog while there is a huge help. The pickup and delivery service is a huge convenience.

Their prices are reasonable and they are just great! Their vets are very compassionate. They are great in terms of kennnelling  - they do consistent checks to make sure your pet doesn't come home sick. Their techs are excellent as well -- just great service overall.

When our cat (who is usually not interested in meeting new people) first met Ginger, he didn't run away and hide.  That was high praise indeed.  While we were away, Henry the cat was well taken care of.  Ginger called or texted me with any questions and to let us know all was well.  She is kind, considerate, and we have already scheduled our next trip with Ginger taking care of our Henry.

Left this practice after being treated poorly (again) by the staff. After being spoken to condescendingly, yet again, and being informed that my sick dog would have to come back another day, I told them I wanted my dogs' records.
Ironically, that night I got a call from the owner who asked me if I would please stay, although he had never bothered to contact me over the course of the 8 prior years and thousands of dollars of fees to thank me for my business.
Needless to say, I said no.
I found a great and caring practice up in Connecticut, which still costs a lot, but at least treats its customers (both human and animal) with respect and compassion. And they have a much more progressive and holistic view about how to treat animals without shoving dangerous medications/vacinations down their throat at every possible turn. I wish I had been better educated about the veterinary industry earlier for the sake of my dogs (one of which suffered unnecessarily with a bad skin condition that was never properly diagnosed or treated.)

    MILLER-CLARK ANIMAL HOSPITAL
Miller-Clark Animal Hospital has been here for a long time and has a very good reputation. I no longer have my dog, but if I ever get another one I will go back to this animal clinic. The veterinarians and staff are all very professional and friendly. They are very good with the animals. My vet even allowed my dog to stay with his dogs for awhile when I had to go somewhere else.

I had a hard time at drop off because I had paperwork to fill out while holding my dog's leash. She is very strong and was very excited to see the other animals in the waiting room. It would be helpful to have some assistance with the dog at this point. Her doctor was very thorough and kind. The office staff was helpful. They are a very busy practice though, so therefore the waiting time was a bit long.

    MILLER-CLARK ANIMAL HOSPITAL
Excellent. I would never even consider using another animal hospital other than Miller Clark. They care deeply about all of their patients and their families

It was just the veterinarian seemed a little bit too, how do I put this nicely, old. He just wasn't a very good communicator and he seemed a little bit out of it. It was a very short wait time.
