    Floor Coverings International Central Westchester
    They changed the floor vinyl and they installed another kind of vinyl. They came on time, made sure that the material I wanted to put was the most suitable for that area of the house. Measured the moisture that was on the floor before installing They mostly finished within one day. The following day was only for touching ups and cleaning. Very reliable and professional. Excellent quality material and service.

    Excellent. Thiago was very responsive to all my questions via email. They showed up on time and did an excellent job. The floors look great. They spent extra time disconnecting our washer/dryer and reinstalling after the job was complete. Highly recommend them and I would certainly use them in the future.

    Rebuild frontdoor stairs. Dave Perrotta and all his Teams are super Professional and Friendly. They did in our house a perfect job in a perfect timing. They found a solution for any problems and give precious advises for the next thing to do for kipping the value of our house. What I liked most: the quality of their finishes, they offer the best whatever the budget.

    Accurate Floor Service Inc
    .The fee listed above is approximate.  He did a very good job.  There were long scores in the floor from our renovation when furniture was dragged across heart pine floors (not by Denis!! By careless contractors). He did an excellent job of making them almost invisible - we were very pleased with that effort!!.  We postponed several times. He was easy to work with, neat and tidy. He also filled holes left by the removal of hot water heating and didn't charge for that. Be aware that he does charge extra to move the furniture (we took care of small and fragile pieces). But we couldn't do it ourselves, so that was fine and the charge was modest. We will definitely use him the future. Screen and recoat seems the best way to manage our original floors gong forward. We found his prices fair and reasonable. Happy to talk with anyone in our area interested in hiring him or seeing our floors.

    The Flooring Girl
    The company and her project manager were tasked with installing a hardwood floor (among other items).  The project manager is vulgar.  A list of problems with the floor is included below.  Stay away from this company at all costs.
    -  the wood was stapled not glued (we called National Wood Floor Association regarding this issue and they told us wood planks larger than 3 inches should be glued to avoid buckling, the project manager rushed the job and ran out);
    - wrong transition to outside garage;
    - wrong wood filler (the filler used was not a wide wood filler);-
    - base board (should be removed because profile of base board is smaller than rest of the house, no one asked us about this)
    - Floor not leveled - If you stand in the middle of the floor they installed, you can see it is completely not leveled.  The project manager rushed to install the wood and never notified us that the floor was not leveled or attempt to fix the problem.

    Ana is very professional and efficient.  In addition, if there is something that you are not happy about, she will work with you to find a solution.  I recommend Casa Blanca because they stand by their products.

    Other than the surprises that old houses bring--no fault of the contractor--it was perfect.  The work is beautiful and Scott has an especially good sense of aesthetics; he made great suggestions on how to improve this or that along the way.  I inadvertently caused a delay by approving back-ordered plumbing fixtures, but excluding this, the project was completed in five weeks.

    Don's Hardwood Flooring

        The entire process was really pleasant.  I scoped out Angie's List to get some names of floor refinishers. Called Don first because he was nearby (actually, he has moved) and everyone seemed happy with his work.

    Called, he showed when he said he would, and he wrote up an estimate on the spot. I knew the estimate was legit because I had had several before (wound up not getting work done) and it was pretty much the same.
        Don is easygoing and friendly. He gave me a few options which impacted the price and gave his opinion of what finish he thought I should use. The best part was that I thought there would be a ton of dust throughout the house, but there was hardly any. I really thought this was going to be a nightmare of a process, which is why I kept putting it off. Nothing could be further from the truth!!
        Floors look awesome, Don was great, price more than fair....would totally use him again. (and I am a picky one)

    They came on time as arranged and were very helpful. They obviously take pride in their work and because the adjacent rooms had different oaks of different ages they increased the stain on one so that the difference in color  would not be so noticeable. The only draw back was some small splatters of stain that went onto the wall when they applied the stain but they cleared these off. Everything was painstakingly wrapped up and blocked off to minimize the spread of dust. The team were hardworking, careful and polite (Luciano was very helpful fixing the kitchen door draught excluder so that it would not scrape the floor). 10 years ago Thiago had done a floor in an upstairs bedroom and it looks as good today as the day he did it.  I am extremely pleased with the work done, it looks great.

    Fairfield Hardwood Floors LLC
    Very smoothly.   Because I knew my estimated closing date and moving date, I booked their services about one month in advance in what is probably a slow season.  They arrived on time, did the work on schedule and were eager to do more.  I will certainly hire them when I want more painting completed.  Floors should last for a long time.
