    All Dry Basement Systems LLC
I spoke to Joe on the phone about water seeping into my house after a large storm. After a few questions he determined it wasn't a foundation issue but a problem with the landscaping and drainage outside of the house. After figuring that out and knowing it was not something he would work on he still took the time to go over the problem with me and propose solutions. He even looked up pictures of my house online to figure out where the water was flowing in from.

The contractor they hired, Erik (not a CBS employee), was good and did a fine job. The PM, Micah, is simply not competent. Constant problems with timing and issues. He ordered the wrong window for us, then the company tried to bait and switch me. I ordered an Andersen from them, and they tried to switch me to their own brand of window, thinking that I am an idiot. I held them to their agreement following arguments with Micah and his superiors. When the window finally came, it was broken. More delays as they ordered another one. Absurd. They installed an insufficient header over what was to be the new window. The inspector denied it. Micah improperly prepared documents to go to the Village (signed without notary). Told me he knew what he was doing. He does not. They use a rubber stamp architect from Missouri, thankfully we had our own to correct their errors. Despite all the delays and problems they refused to provide any credit. Awful customer care considering we spent more than $40k.

    The Basement Expert
The Basement Expert did and excellent job on this large , multi-phased project. I was very satisfied with the work performed and the value received. The three other companies included in my proposal process were either limited in solutions they offered or significantly more expensive in order to provide the same work . Phil and his team were also very sensitive to the emotional impact on the family of the items required to be removed due to the mold issue and were very professional and empathetic during this very stressful portion of the work . I would certainly hire the Basement Expert in any future similar projects .

Honestly, I have never had such a positive experience with a contractor. they showed up on time, were friendly, polite, courteous, clean and efficient. In a single day they installed the entire system and left the place clean (within reason). This included jack hammering more than 30 feet of concrete floor and complete water ejection. Unbelievable. They will never be the cheap solution, but they are worth it!

    LABRIOLA LANDSCAPING
This work was done to prevent water from entering the basement. We did not expect work to eliminate all the water. It didn't, but it stopped about 90% of the water so now we are to a point that we will get 1/4" of water in a few areas of the basement occasionally. Before we would have as much as 1" of water in most of the basement. The work was done in 2007 and the results have stayed the same. I would recommend this company for promptness, neatness, and results.

This is an easy review to write, no real drama at all. Dave an his crew did an amazing job. He managed all of the subs very well. Everyone kept the place clean and limited the impact on my family. Most importantly the basement came out amazing. It doesn't feel like a basement at all, lots of natural light and the work quality is what you would expect to find on the main levels. Dave is easy to work with, very responsive, professional, trustworthy and puts out a quality finished product.

He was able to suggest changes to the plans that would save us money as well as changes that just made the basement come out looking better. I could not be happier with how things turned out or with working with them. I will not even bother shopping around when I'm ready to remodel the upstairs, I'll just call them.

We had just bought our house and immediately had scouted out 3 bids for what we suspected would be a French Drain System. We knew the property had history of water in the basement, mold, a horizontal crack against one wall, and a backyard that would easily be saturated and flood a small garden with the slightest of rainfall. Our tenants (who we inherited with the property) had been here for 16 years so they were able to provide insight to this history. Water pressure was building up and was evident in all our of foundation blocks. All 3 contractors had suggested a French Drain without us saying more than the above.

What made us decide to go with Bill came down to how we felt about him over another (Angie List) comparable priced guy plus the icing on the cake was Bill followed up by mailing out a postcard offering an additional 10% off to the 1st 25 customers to beat the spring rush. The 3rd guy was double the price of these other 2 bids so we had to rule him out.

We waited about 3 months (due to it being the dead of Winter 2014) before contacting Bill-postcard prompted us. To my shock, he remembered me and our layout! He was extremely patient with us as we asked additional questions. In fact he even steered us away from a Curtain drain, stating wait to see if the French drain resolves the issue 1st which he was pretty confident would. I can NOT thank Bill enough for spending over an hour on the phone with me on one particular evening answering all my detailed questions. That is something I will never forget and truly valued in Bill.

One HUGE thing we also loved about going with Basement Solutions was the fact they had a Same as cash, 0% for 6 months, and $0 monthly payment option, which I took full advantage of. Incredible!!!!

We scheduled the job for 1st week in May and my husband oversaw the job. The job took about 3 days total I believe. And they did an excellent job cleaning up before I came home from work each day.

Once complete, with the next rainfall it was immediately noticed that the backyard no longer flooded and we could hear our sump pumps working-Actually they are super uber quite, but if you stand right over it you will hear a little water swishing. We live on the 2nd floor and use to hear the previous sump pump (through not only the basement ceiling but right through the 1st floor too, yes!), but no longer can hear the new ones up here thankfully. The backyard is no longer soggy for days after rainfall, the garden no longer floods and our tenants claim they have noticed a huge difference.

We waited to give the review because my husband spent the summer gutting the entire basement so we could monitor any water penetrating into the foundation and so far there has been non. Since we also had mold, Bill was kind enough to drop off some bottles of Mold Spray a few weeks after the job was completed. We are still monitoring the horizontal crack and may still need to address that area, but it doesn't seem to have expanded-hard to tell. Bill was actually suppose to come back and point the crack for us so we could monitor. Hopefully he will contact us to follow through on that service.

We are happy with Bill and his team at Basement Solutions and hope to work with him again for any future project needs.

The service worked out pretty well. I haven't taken advantage of the commentary yet, but it was good. I did not pay anything over the $49 of the big deal. He was very gracious, and he did what he could, and as quickly as he could.
