His office called the morning of the appointment to confirm. Danny was right on time. Very professional and personable. He took the dishwasher out from the counter, took it apart, cleaned it and fixed the clog in the drain. Very neat, clean and thorough. Price was great. I would certainly use Danny again.

    What I like best about them is that they don't mind talking to you before they come over. Because, there might be something that you could actually do yourself. Rather than show up at your house and like flip one switch that you could have flipped yourself and then you end up paying the minimum charge of like $150. They will walk you through what the options are a little bit, at least a little diagnostic work before they come over. It is hard to find.

    I called Steve late afternoon on Mon and by Tues 11AM he was at my house making the repair.  He was professional and courteous (dealing with my elderly mom who was home at the time). Most importantly fixed my problem in the most cost effective and honest way possible.

    My dryer knob stripped which of course made my dryer unusable because I could not initiate any settings. At least that's what I suspected the problem was.  I could have been told otherwise.....

    Within 15 minutes of arriving at my house, Steve called me to let me know that the problem of the broken knob was repaired.  Here is where I give kudos to Steve, will definitely call on him for my appliance repairs from now on and would certainly recommend him: Steve could have told me there was no other way but to order a new knob for the $40-$50 and a new timer for an additional cost of almost $200.  Instead, he took a knob we weren't using from the same dryer (that which controlled the loudness of dryer buzzer) and installed it to replace the stripped knob.  For me this was the best solution because I have no need to change the loudness setting of the buzzer but I could certainly use the $200-$250 Steve saved me!!  And I didn't miss doing one day of laundry (lucky me!).  I thank you Steve

    Steve answered my phone call right and set up an appointment. We set up an evening appointment for a few days later. He arrived on time and fixed the belt to my dryer very quickly. We would definitely use his services again to fix any other appliances and recommend him to friends and family in the future.

    I called them specifically before purchasing this coupon to find out if they'd honor it towards a sub zero side by side refrigerator.  They stated they would.  I purchased the coupon and then called them back to get it scheduled.  They asked me what appliance needed to be repaired and I again let them know that I had the $99 Big Deal coupon and that it was a sub zero side by side, the ice maker.  When they arrived at my home, before even starting the work, the technician informed me that they would not honor the coupon towards the repair.  I paid $190 to repair the ice maker and the tech informed me that I should get ice by today and if I don't, the entire ice maker needs to be replaced.  So far no ice. That could total almost $300 so looking at $500 overall between the repair and new ice maker.

    My refrigerator stopped working.   The first repair company I called said he was booked for the day, and could not make it.  But after speaking some more, he agreed to come and take a look right away since he was nearby and finishing up a job.  He said if it is a quick fix he would take care of it, but if it was more involved he could not repair the refrigerator.  I was happy that he could come right away.
    He said my circulation fan was not working, but there was no electricity to the circulation fan.  Finding out what was causing there to be no electricity to the circulation fan would take some time, so he said he could not complete the repair.  He did not even want the full $50 he quoted me for the visit.
    I then called Mr. Appliance of Nassau County.  After checking out my refrigerator, he said that there was electricity going to the fan, but the fan was not working.  This seemed odd since the last repairman said there was no electricity going to the fan.  They did not have the part, and with the shipping time, the weekend and the fact that he had to go to training early the next week, he could not finish the repair for 5 days.  This was a bit if a burden given how important a refrigerator is.
    He came promptly when he said he would to install the fan.  But the new fan did not work either.  Then he measured the electricity again and said there was no electricity going to the fan.  He called the manufacturer, who (according to what he told me) told him that if the fan was bad, he should replace the circuit board as well, which he did not have with him.
    First, I would hope that an expert would not have to call the manufacturer for advice on how to fix the appliance.  And second, he went by the advice that the board should be replaced when the fan was bad, but he actually had not yet established that the fan was bad.  It seemed more likely that the fan was never bad, but that he had misdiagnosed the problem from the beginning.  I asked him if he could test the original fan.  So he tested it and found that it worked (which he did not do during the first visit because he thought there was electricity going to the fan).
    They scheduled a new date to install the board.  They are very good about setting and keeping appointments, and calling to remind you when they will be coming.  Again, the repairman came when he said he would.
    He installed the new board and the new fan, and now the refrigerator works.  When I asked that he only install the board and not the fan, he tried to scare me into not leaving the original fan in the refrigerator because "it could burn out the new circuit board."  But that is assuming that the fan was ever at fault, which it does not seem that it was.  Then they quoted me a price of only $30 more to install both than fan and the board than just the board.  One could say that this was nice of them, on the other hand, it seems that this covers up what was probably their misdiagnosis (especially when I tell you what they charged for labor).
    Meanwhile, the actual repair took very little time, yet they charged $287 for just the labor.  That seems very high, even allowing for time and knowledge (which he had to call the manufacture for anyway) to diagnose the problem.
    If he had simply said, "I made a mistake.  The fan was never the problem."   Then I would have had no problem with this company (other than the high price).  As it stands, I would not use them again.
