ATri-State Window Factory CorpThe team at Tri-State Window Factory just did yet another fabulous install at our home (new storm door and window) and I had to share. They're meticulous throughout the whole process, from sales to measuring to installation, we have always had a pleasant experience with each team. We have done all our windows now at this point and a few doors too. Love it when friends and family comment on how nice they look and how well they're built. Never had any hidden surprises or costs either. The cost breakdown is clearly written up every time which we appreciate. We are fortunate to have found Tri-State and will continue to use them as needed ... their warranty policy is also hard to beat, just got a few of their window screens re-screened too that were damaged from years of weathering and no hassles and no charge!- Phil H.

ATri-State Window Factory CorpHired Tri state to do windows siding roofing and doors. We built a house recently in massapequa and we needed a ton of work to be done. We hired Tri state to do everything and we could not be more pleased. From the quality to the beauty of all there products we are extremely happy! Would definitely use again in the future if we ever decide to do a crazy renovation like this again.- Christine A.

AAmerican Home Remodeling IncMy siding was damaged and needed to be repaired. I called the office and spoke with a representative who had the owner contact me directly. I expressed my concern that this needed to be repaired as soon as possible because of possible inclement weather. American Home sent a representative to survey the damage and make an assessment. The workers arrived the very next day to work on the repair. They were courteous and professional and did an outstanding job.- Joseph R.

AMajor Homes CorpProject went great overall. We did a complete replacement of the roof, all new vinyl siding and all new windows - it was a large project. The process initiated with some emails and texts to Jason, he came over to my home to review the options and do a demonstration on the windows. We discussed options and reviewed materials for the roof and siding. I didn't feel any real pressure at all during these meetings. He did ask to commit there that same day and provided an incentive to do so, and some other reviews noted that this was uncomfortable, but it was fine. He spent many hours in my home patiently explaining all the options - I think it's completely reasonable for him to ask for a commitment at the end of that. I didn't commit that day, but reviewed all the quotes and called him back to start the work. I also called and sent him many texts/emails with design and material and timing questions and all were promptly responded to. He helped us work through design and color options for the windows and the siding. My first contact with him was in late June, and the work was complete around mid to late August, although the actual time on-site was only about a week or so in total for the roof, siding and windows. Considering the scope of the work and all the materials that needed to be ordered, this was reasonable. The quality of the materials and the work was great and I would definitely use them again.- Andrew V.

AAmerican Home Remodeling IncI’m so happy with the job American Home Remodeling did! We had our steps/porch, walkway, and garage floor done. The workers were always professional and courteous. Plus they did an amazing job! Unfortunately, an hour after they fully completed the job, my dog made paw imprints on the new garage floor before the concrete had dried. I contacted the owner and he sent his foreman back to fix it that night! I plan on using them for more work in the near future. Thank you AHR!- Stefanie G.

AAmerican Home Remodeling IncAbsolutely impressed with the work performed by AHR. My co-worker had given me their number when they knew I needed work done, and, from start to finish, I was completely satisfied. The representative that arrived was personable, easy to work with, and very considerate to my requests. All of my guests have not stopped with the compliments on my roof and siding! We went with, and would also recommend, the GAF Timberline HDZ shingles for our roof, and coventry vinyl for our siding. I told them I needed it done before the cold weather starts settling in, and they finished my project in the matter of a week. Couldn't be more pleased with the job done. Would and will book again for my future interior projects!- Mark M.

AMagnolia Home Remodeling GroupA nice experience overall working with Vic and his team. The team was punctual and professional throughout the project. We had our front steps rebuilt from brick to stone and new railings were installed. A few adjustments were needed but the response was quick and things were addressed adequately. Vic's accessibility and responsiveness was a big plus as well. He and his team gladly offered suggestions and solutions during discussions. We are pleased with our new steps and railings. We would definitely consider and use Magnolia again for future home projects and would recommend them to others!- Doris L.

AMagnolia Home Remodeling GroupStellar experience with Magnolia. This is the second time we’ve used Magnolia for a big project at our house, and just like the first time, the work was outstanding. Magnolia completed a major kitchen/family room renovation for us 2 years ago. Their craftsmanship, attention to detail, communication, and customer service was so good that when it came time to do our siding, roof, and windows, the choice was a no brainer. I highly recommend Magnolia for anyone looking for quality work, competitive pricing, and a contractor that puts the customer first.- Andrew F.

AMagnolia Home Remodeling GroupWe had a three “room” project completed in November 2020: Framing - Removed back wall of house and part of the roof, rebuilt ceiling, installed beam, and rear wall Kitchen/Dining Room - Full gut job….new electrical, insulation, walls, floors, backsplash, appliances, paint, fixtures, etc. Deck - New from scratch. 17x17 with a pressure treated frame and timbertech composite decking, rails, balusters, steps, etc. ...since they were going to be replacing the roof where the new section was built, they also replaced our entire roof. The cost was reasonable relative to what it would’ve been to replace just the smaller portionn of the rebuilt roof. The subcontractors were all very professional and quality was high across the board. Here are the important points: -Communication - Stellar for the entire duration of the project (negotiating, permits, selections, day-to-day, inspections, etc.). Vic was our point person but had another person help when needed (permits, payments, etc.). When I needed something, it was Vic I worked with. We worked almost exclusively by text but got on phone calls when the situation called for it. -Schedule - Before we started the project, Magnolia claimed the project would take 4 months. I believe this would’ve been projected to be 3 months if we weren’t operating in a pandemic but the materials were a concern based on the initial plans the architect drew up. The entire project ended up taking 9 weeks from demo day 1 to the final inspection. Very impressive. -Pricing - Magnolia is not cheap but you’re paying for a contractor that’s experienced and proven in certain areas (e.g. kitchens, roofs, etc.) and has established relationships with the subcontractors they use. -Subcontractors and quality - Kitchen designer was flexible with what we were looking for but we had another kitchen that we used as a near mirror-image of what we wanted. The one thing that may be a concern here is that if you don’t know what you want, there might be a lot of back-and-forth to arrive at a final design. Roofers, tile/paint crew, etc. were all top notch. Overall a great experience. This was a high anxiety experience going in and Vic was professional and kept things moving very quickly and well ahead of schedule.- Anthony D.

AWe called Ed soon after we moved into our home, and became aware of multiple issues present within the house. The issues included several cracks in the Concrete Foundation of the Basement, an ongoing problem with High Basement Humidity, cracks and loose mortar around the bricks of the wood burning fireplace, and cracks in the tiling of the Center Hall Foyer. Ed came over right away, was able to measure the level of humidity in the basement walls and floors to determine the severity of the problem. In addition, he was able to point out several major contributing foundational issues. He determined the root cause of these issues and provided a solution that would prevent further damage to the structural integrity of the home. Ed was able to design a plan to correct the deficiencies both inside and outside the home which included insufficient and compromised footings, a sinking foundation, a failing support structure to the basement staircase, improper waterproof coating on the basement floors and walls, and stress cracks in the foundation walls. Ed’s Team worked diligently and installed multiple footings to stabilize the foundation, including rebar, hydraulic cement, wire lathing and titanium strapping to provide maximum support and stability to the foundation of the home and garage inner wall. The team built scaffolding to reach the height of the exterior chimney and rebuilt the compromised chimney footing, cracks in the chimney shoulder, and detached flu. On the inside his mason repaired the facial mortar and gaps between the chimney and the wood flooring. Ed’s Team was in my home for nearly 2 weeks working to correct these serious issues. The amount of digging and handling of heavy construction equipment they had to utilize was massive. They all worked tirelessly and went above and beyond. They were courteous, productive, and did not impact my daily activities of life during that time. They meticulously cleaned all the areas and left no debris. We were so pleased with their attitude and work ethic. Ed is knowledgeable, meticulous, patient and great at what he does. He provides the utmost of care to be sure his customers are educated with regard to the problem, the solution and the plan he will execute. He truly cares about his customers concerns and insures that they are satisfied with every aspect of the job. Ed will do whatever it takes to achieve that end. He invests himself one hundred percent in the job. This is an honorable business man that you can rely upon to stand by his company’s work. We highly recommend Ed’s Services for Foundation, Chimney and Moisture related concerns. You will have peace of mind knowing the job was done right and will look for opportunities to hire him back.

AWe had a truly great experience with Surface Resto Inc! Washing and re-sanding our pavers! I completed the form on his website and then received a call to discuss the scope of the job and the various options we had. Pricing is transparent, which I appreciate since it means no surprises. He worked with a face mask and communicated with me via text throughout the process. After the work was completed he explained the next steps ( how long to stay off the pavers) and provided tips for maintenance. I hope to have him return again in several years once the work needs to be completed again.
