AA 5 Star Review by Rebecca Antinozzi I have been going to Dr. Bloom for 20+ years and have known him on a personal level since I was a child, as he was my neighbor for many years. Dr. Bloom and his staff are super personable and friendly. They always go above and beyond, not only performing preventative exams but testing for glaucoma, cataracts and other macular degeneration diseases. They have a wide range of up to date frames in office to accommodate any price range and fashion. From the moment you check into the office, you feel welcomed and never intimidated. Rye Eye Care explains each step of your eye exam in detail and makes you feel at ease. Dr. Bloom has a caring, calm demeanor and takes his time with each patient. The office is very organized, clean and practices excellent communication with all details of their business. Rye Eye Care provides the highest level of service and Dr. Bloom is an expert in his field. I highly recommend Dr. Bloom and Rye Eye Care to anyone looking for a family oriented, friendly, professional ophthalmologist.

AMy family has been using Optic Family Eyecare in Plainview for years. Their attention to detail, with respect to COVID, was profoundly evident. Also, my eye exam was comprehensive and accurate. I was prescribed glasses that significantly clarified my vision during night driving. Lastly, everyone was very friendly, helpful and attentive to my budgetary needs. I am forever grateful and would highly recommend them.

AAt first I was a little hesitant being I have always gone to the office of an eye Dr. instead of online. I can’t say enough good things about ReplaceAlens. Alex & team didn’t hesitate to do whatever was needed to make be a believer & THEY WERE AWESOME! Alex told me what they would do & leave the results up to me. I had a very nice pair of eye frames I hated to part with, They explained the process in a very easy way that I could understand. I basically forgot about my glasses. They came in the mail today. I put them on & was BLOWN AWAY! My vision is perfect & I mean PERFECT! That went exactly off my new prescription & did an outstanding job. I won’t hesitate to use them again! Pull your favorite frames out of the drawer & give it a shot. It will work for you as well. Thank you again Alex & TEAM! Marty Hunt

BDoctor was good and competent. Wait times are a little high even first thing in the morning. Would help if x-ray appointments are set up prior to the appointment to reduce duplicate wait times. Had to wait to get the x-ray order, then wait again to get the x-ray and then a last time for the doctor. This happened for two visits. Not sure this is worse than any other place I would go to but an improved process would help everyone.

DEye Associates Of North JerseySeemed competent, staff seemed friendly Do not pay cash - they do not account for cash payments (it disappears - really?) My wife paid the copay paid cash did not get the receipt (her bad) but what do they post the cash received to? She spoke to the office and they promised to take care of it. After months of the threatening collection for $15 copay - just paid and learned our lesson. SO DO NOT PAY CASH!!!!!- GARY H.

FCaptree Opticians10 MINUTES AGO Absolutely horrendous service. Over 3 weeks for single vision glasses. No calls no updates. Blaming computers for their lack of communication. Full of excuses. I was not handed a prescription after the eye exam I had to BEG for it. Refuse to refund money. Refuse to work with me for an appointment. JUST HORRIBLE. Receptionist clueless. Asked for the owner to call me back she didn't. They Simply don't care. Avoid this place all costs. I should have made the drive and used the place I always used. Bummer being this place is right in my town. No one there to make adjustments when I picked up the glasses. Imperfection on left lens. No certificate of authenticity from essilor for the lenses. I was told that they don't make the glasses in house. And when I asked for my P.D she asked which pd do you want the original P.D or the P.D for a 2mm smaller lens??? Eyeglass worker doesn't even know what p.d. is. Scary. Keep in mind if you decide to get glasses here they expect to call every day for three weeks to see if your glasses are ready on that day. I recommend calling 3 times a day so you will know when they arrive. These are not opticians but a yuppie boutique that farms out your glasses to a real lab. They have another shop in merrick same owners buyer beware.- William A.

FBrown Eye Care AssociatesLiz the office manager is the nastiest, vulgar, uneducated disgraceful thing you can find. She shout over the phone instead of explaining my bill, did not allow me to talk staying, "I don't have time to listen". Wrong poor choice of profession. I still don't understand how this thing of repugnant manager still works at this office. Mine is not the first negative review , I am sure they hare loosing patients to the vulgarity of this manager, and now I understand the poor personal retention at the front desk, a new face every time. I guess she treats everyone the same. After many years I will not come back to Dr. Brown's office.- Susana M.

APark Avenue LASEKAfter having LASIK done 10 years ago, I recently began experiencing a reduction in the acuity of my left eye. Upon exploring updated laser eye surgery techniques, I found Dr. Chynn's Park Avenue LASEK office offering just what I was looking for. An updated, modern and safer procedure often with better results. Dr. Chynn had me go through two contact lens trials just to ensure I will be comfortable with the new post-surgery prescription. He and his staff have been clear and meticulous in informing me of each next step with exceptional attention to detail. After the final round of testing, I am going in for the procedure tomorrow and am looking forward to seeing clearly with uncorrected vision again. I wish more doctors offered this level of care and information and to their patients!- Barry M.

FOphthalmic Physicians of MonmouthDr. Jason Steinfeld did cataract surgery on my eyes and told me he did "glaucoma work" right after each one. He badly messed up my eyes with this glaucoma work. I didn't even have glaucoma at the time. He took care of that years earlier with laser. He caused damage to the inner parts of my eyes and would not admit he had done something wrong, I waited months before he told me to go to Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. There they had to do high risk surgery to save my eyes because Steinfeld had caused Malignant Glaucoma. I paid $1000. cash myself and spent months thinking I might go blind. My left never completely recovered. Steinfeld was rude and bullying and calling me "hysterical" when I told him something was wrong with my eyes after he worked on them. I kept all my medical records. At Wills Eye Hospital they told me that it been too much longer, they would not have been able to help me. Steinfeld could have admitted he caused damage and referred me right away but he did not. The corrective operations done at Wills Eye Hospital were called Vitrectomy operations which could have resulted in blindness because they were such high risk.- Cheryl C.
