It was under warranty so it was free. I like warranties but not when your car had been recalled 3 times in 6 months. The price is an A because they didn't charge because it is under warranty. I would never purchase another vehicle there. Not that the people aren't pleasant and nice or anything and I probably should hold the manufacturer of the vehicle with some but I've been probably disappointed from the get go this time with the purchase and the quality of the vehicle and just generally the way that I went about getting this lease. We've dealt with other dealerships and this dealership I am not very happy with. It took them 3 weeks to fix the recall and they weren't very concerned about it. Something that I got a national traffic safety recall notice telling me that my car could catch on fire at any moment and not have brakes. They didn't offer me a loaner vehicle. I had to keep driving it the rest of my life. They kind of chuckled when I said, 'Well, can I have a loaner car while I am waiting 2 weeks for this car'. They said, 'Well no we don't do that ma'am' I couldn't take my grand kids anywhere for 3 weeks. I was afraid to have anybody rid with me and I only used the car when absolutely necessary until they got the parts to fix it. Bursting into flames at any moment was a real deterrent to driving. I didn't care for the chuckle about asking for a loaner car. They were unconcerned that it could burst into flames. I have to use them because I have another year on my lease unless I can get out of it without a huge expense on my part so I will have to use them again.  They know how unhappy I am. I have already complained to the manufacture so they are familiar with my name there.

It went great. The were fast, did what they said they were going to do. I'll definitely be going back and I'll be spreading the word. Finally a garage where they know what they're doing and that I can trust.

Oriskany Garage Tire & Auto Service Inc
Car broke down on a Friday. Had to wait until Monday to get towed there..Boulevard Auto flat bedded it to Oriskany tie approximately 8:30 a.m. Monday. My husband had it checked under hood and based on that mechanics information we thought we'd save TIME to buy our parts over weekend..They cost us $120. When vehicle was towed I gave Russ the parts that were necessary at that time. When I asked how long it would be to complete the repairs, I was told 'later that day.' I waited to the end of their business day and had heard nothing. I have serious medical issues and appointments so I was quite anxious. Bri answered the phone and put me on hold to check status. When she got on phone, I was told it had been put 'to the back of the list' because we brought our own parts!!! Also, I was advised that it would not even be LOOKED AT until TUESDAY. I continued to be at their will and be without my car. Received a call quite a bit later that it was ready. At this'd time I was glad to go and pay another $130 labor and taxes and drive away (already have $250 into car). Mechanic put major components in my vehicle yet never tested it before I drove away in an unsafe vehicle. I returned with serious timing issues. GUESS WHAT? An error code..a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT NOW. There was No ENGINE LIGHT from Friday to Monday, now the repairs were assured to me to have been done properly. Now I'm told it might be about an additional $400 for a CAM SENSOR. That ended up being incorrect. Now I'm waiting, on WEDNESDAY, for a TIMING BELT kit which I've been told is now costing me an additional $700. Now I'm talking about putting almost $1,000 in the end into my car which should not have been necessary if their mechanic took due diligence and checked the timing and engine performance before I paid and drove away. I'm now told I MIGHT have my car done by 4:30 pm. I have been a customer at oriskany garage for many years. I've had new tires done, oil changes, a major air conditioner line problem last year, and I live on a fixed income. I don't know why Russ chewed out his mechanic before my eyes for not properly road testing it before I took it, but now sticks up for the same mechanic saying and quot;it doesn't really matter because the same thing would've happened to him that happened to YOU instead! and quot; That's a very unprofessional attitude from a man I consider a friend and a great businessman. I don't understand what is going on but I have had it getting jerked around and getting little to no information about the status of my car. I have had to live with my pregnant daughter since FRIDAY because she lives in the vicinity of the garage. Never in a million years would I wish this kind of unprofessional treatment. I deserve to be notified of when the parts have to be ordered. When the parts arrive, and a good idea of when...WHEN and how much money do I have to beg to borrow from family members to make sure Russ gets what he feels is fair. Mechanics make errors. Mechanics miss, overlook, or are too casual about getting as many vehicles done in one day at the expense of MY SAFETY, and that of my pregnant daughter who uses my vehicle at times, and other drivers on the road who could be damaged and injured because of faulty work.

UPDATE: I was being dropped off at Oriskany Tire around 4:00pm. Before walking in, I received a phone call from Rick advising vehicle was indeed ready. The mechanic who did the work came to the desk with box of old parts explaining what HE THINKS went wrong. I paid $561.41 approximately..add to that the prior $250 and I've paid over $800. Russ was on the phone when I entered garage to pay, and I heard him ask me to and quot;waitand quot;. I listened to mechanic, paid my bill. Left without speaking to Mr. Schmitt. Unfortunately, this is the last job I will have done there. Sad parting of the ways in my eyes.

I have been taking my vehicle to them over a period of 15 years.  I am a DIY guy and they understand  that.  They will give me advice on what and how to fix certain things myself.  They know that will keep me as their customer when I run into something I cannot fix.  I value their cooperation and honesty and because of that I have recommended them to others.

    Fuccillo Hyundai of Syracuse
Not well. My vehicle had only 22,000 miles on it and they claimed it needed front and rear brakes to pass inspection. I asked to look at the brakes because the car was stopping fine with no shudder or shake or sound. There was not a thing wrong with the front brakes or rotors. The front rotors were shiny and smooth. The rear pads were more worn than I would have expected, but had serviceable thickness remaining. They quoted about $500 to pass inspection. I refused the service and paid $10 to get it off the lift. I bought a set of rear pads at NAPA for $17 replacing them myself and it passed inspection elsewhere with no more repairs needed. The front pads and rotors remained on the car for two more years and 20,000 miles
before replacement. I thought the Fuccillo service writer was assuming I did not know anything about car repair and was attempting to take advantage of it. Even when they realized I knew something about how to service brakes, they stood their ground. They lost me as a customer even for vehicle inspections for near new cars

I have used them for twenty years. They can be a little expensive but they do the work right and guarantee their work; I have never had a problem. I have gotten to be friends with the guys that work there; even the mechanics. They are a very friendly group. The mechanics have been working there for a very long time. Its not like the mechanics come and they go. Its always the same guys. They are very good and I will continue to use them. I refer them to others; I do it all the time.

He has the highest labor rate around at $75.00 an hour, others are around $60.00 per hour. He did not change the belt that he was supposed to, but he charged. Once you use his service he become pushy about preventive maintenance.

M & M Collision and Auto Repair Inc
We have been loyal customers of M&M Collision for approximately 4 years. They are always willing to bend over backwards to help us. I imagine that they lose out when we supply the parts but they happily take the work, regardless. Their prices are always reasonable and they finish the work in a timely manner. Their service is top notch! Their specialty is collision and fortunately, we have not needed them in that respect. However, if we would ever find ourselves in need of collision repair, there is no doubt where we would go. We HIGHLY recommend.

Terrible and Mike Burke is far from professional. He will smile in your face and be all nice when you are handing him money. But when the work performed or vehicle sold fails he is like Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde and becomes irrate and tries to intimidate you. I walked away because I do not need to get arrested for hitting a piece of garbage like Mike Burke.
