    We have been a client of Hewlett Animal Hosp for many years . Our dog has required several surgeries. Each time our pet was well cared for- and the veterinary care was excellent The communication by all staff members were cari and accurate I appreciate having Hewlett Animal Hospital available to care for our pet.

    Our dog has stayed at the Hewlett Pet Resort on several occasions- Most recently my sons dog was a guest. Our pets have always been well cared for and their individual needs met. I know that they were cared for and not just boarded because the staff would tell us things about our pet that they could only know about by interacting with them. This is a high quality facility that cares for your pet as if it were their own. . I never hesitate to call on them and recommend them. Wonderful staff; immaculate and safe facility!! A wow!!

    When I called Assisi, I got an appointment for later in the week. The staff is friendly and professional. The groomer did a great job on my dog. She is an elderly animal and therefore needs special care. Instead of waiting in a kennel cage, she was taken care of promptly and was allowed to sit withe receptionist until I returned to take her home. A great experience for me and my dog all around!

    They were recommended. I have insurance, so the price is mitigated by that. They're very professional. They are caring. They have interest in my pet. All the people who work there are very animal friendly. It's very clean and they're always getting updates. If I make a phone call and I ask some questions, I get a good response and I can speak to the veterinarian if I choose to.

    I couldn't even get an appointment. The first time I called, I was told that I couldn't be given an appointment without medical records. I made copies and hand delivered them as well as filled out a medical history. Even then I couldn't get an appointment. I was told someone would call me-which of course never happened. I was disappointed because I had heard great things about the doctor. Unfortunately, his front desk staff is terrible.

    I felt violated. I spoke to the manager months before to schedule the boarding. She told me it was $80 per night and before they went home they was supposed to be groomed. When I took them there on the 15th I was told that they need a flu shot and that I needed to pay the grooming when they leave. They were not upfront with it and did not tell me right away when I had first spoken with them. All she was concerned about when I called her was if I was paying cash or credit. She asked me three times. It was not professional. Do not go there.

    They’re very friendly and very nice.  Their price is fair.  It’s about $20 may be to go in there.  Their quality is very good.  I will definitely use them again in the future.

    The vets office was clean and the office staff was very professional. I brought both my dogs in for an annual check-up. Dr.Munro gave my dogs their annual vaccinations and then I asked her to take a look at my dogs eyes. My Mastiff had been starting to produce a lot of mucus. She knew right away what was wrong then ran a test to make sure. She was spot on. My dog had dry eye. A disease she informed me was more common in small dogs. I was concerned as most pet owners are when something is wrong with their loved ones. I asked if there was any way to cure it. Dr.Munro informed me that my dog would need lifelong eye ointment medication or they offer a surgery. She recommended the ointment over the surgery because my dog was 3 years old and the surgery didn't always work. Thats a fine professional opinion and I accepted it. I then asked her the price of the medication. I admit I may have seemed shocked at the price and done a sigh, but her response to my reaction didn't make me feel better. and quot;Your dog is already 3, these guys don't live that long anyway, so don't worry.and quot; There was a chuckle following this statement so it was probably her just trying to ease my anxiety after hearing the price of the medication. But no owner wants to hear don't worry your dog will die soon anyway. Other than that statement which really upset me they were very professional and clean.

    They are very nice, and their office is clean. Their vets are concerned with the animals. They only have few vets there. In the past, my dog had a reaction to a shot, and they responded right away. My experience with them was very nice. They were good. Also, their staff is nice and very cooperative.

    I took my Afghan Hound in for a grooming and walked out four hours later with a dog that looked like a Greyhound. They could not de-mat the dog, so they shaved him!! Completely!!

    Apparently, any cretin can hang a shingle on their door and call themselves a dog groomer. I have owned Afghan Hounds for 25 years, and I NEVER had a groomer "give up" and shave one (I have owned 5).

    These people took the LAZY way out, and charged me $82 for the displeasure. I will NEVER darken their door again. The staff is made up of all adolescents.  "Trainees"!   I should have known better when upon entering, the 18 year old receptionist said, "I have never seen that type of dog before."  Apparently, neither had the groomer.

    I STONGLY suggest that you avoid this business. There are quite a few Good-to-Average groomers in the neighborhood. (My regular groomer had a family emergency this particular week.)

    Note: For those who do not know what an Afghan Hound is, it is a 60-70 poung animal, extremely regal and has extremely long hair, up to about eight inches on the ears and sides, and about six inches on the legs (Like a Clydesdale horse).  It will take about a year for the coat to grow back to its original state.

    Suffice it to say that I wish "a pox" on this groomer and his business, and I look forward to seeing the store front boarded up aand the sign down in the very near future.
