    They billed me $1300 and rven after i paid in full cash they rufused to give me the key to my car said they would give it to the towtruck BMW sent to puck up my car. Owner tried to move my car with a forklift My car died going through a puddle on a cery busy road original tow driver insisted on bringing me there, the receptionist shoved insurance papers in my face the minute i walked in the door. My bill was so ridiculous but i felt threatened by the owners deamenor and just wanted my car back. He was an arrogant unprofessional person and not someone who was going to be reasonable. His shop is for body work my car didnt have body damage This is an Allstate shop and I am now filling the claim to try to get some of the money South Shore Collision stole from me

    It was fine. I lease my car now.�� They were very good to deal with.�� He's a mechanic that I used for years until it was time to sell my car.�� I used them for years.�� I never had an issue.�� They were very fair.�� I think I always dealt with Al.�� I hope I never need him, but if I do, I would use them.

    Cheats! They claimed they replaced two light bulbs for $10 each so the car would pass inspection. First, I didn't authorize them to do that work and second, like most cars today, the car will tell me if a bulb is burned out and exactly which one. The car was silent. This is a classic ploy in New York. The garages don't like how small the official New York State inspection fee is ($37) so they find ways of recouping their losses. Well, I gave them the chance to do that by changing the oil but they charged a measly $7 for that labor. Instead of charging me a real labor cost for the oil they fabricate the bulb charge. And of course I now wonder if they changed the oil. Probably not.

    My old mechanic retired and I needed to find someone local.  I saw N&M Auto Repair advertised in the weekly church bulletin (so you knew he was a community guy), had good online reviews, and has been in business locally for 38 years (says a lot right there).  Ralph (owner) and all the staff are friendly, respectful, and professional.  The waiting area is clean and neat, as is the shop.  I have been there twice and am confident that I could send my wife there without me and they would do the right thing.  Most recently, the check engine light came on in the car.  The computer was scanned, checked, and reset at no charge.  I was advised to drive around normally (it was not a dangerous condition), and to come back if the light came on again.  Inevitably the light came back, so I returned for a detailed analysis. I left the car and Ralph called later to advise of the cause, describe what was needed to rectify the situation, and to obtain authorization to proceed with the repair.  The cost was reasonable, given the parts and labor required, and the work was completed satisfactorily.  I am happy to say I found my new mechanic.  Highly recommended!

    Marc was available, responsive, and very helpful in getting repairs completed in a timely manner.  He took the time to sit down and explain to me what exactly needed to be done with a full breakdown of pricing and answered all of my questions.  His shop did a great job, and I would highly recommend them.

    We've used Dan's service for about 10 years now and he's always been forthright in proposing repairs where necessary and giving us the option to hold off on other repairs that were not urgent.  We have had three different Toyotas worked on by him over the years both for routine maintenance and also for more occasional problems like a dead battery or malfunctioning alternator.  His prices are fair and his customer service is professional. We see no reason to try anyone else...

    They replace and needed to work on a speedometer, they don't have the parts for today, they had to buy because it is like almost a classic 91. They looked to and repair the electrical system for the automatic door lock , the speedometer, the remote in the key lock system and they have to check the other problems. They knew what they are doing, they quite to keep the price down as possible, and the service particularly the service manager is very customer friendly and he tried to keep to help out. I was pleased with their price.

    These guys have been working on our cars since 2010, when my old toyota broke down when I had an appointment.at the NY College across the street from them. They were recommended by the college staff .
    I was frantic but Tony and Will were patient and considerate and took care of the problem right away, charged a fair price and told me everything about what they were doing. They're honest and absolutely thorough. When my husband and I lost our cars in hurricane Sandy, they graciously guided us through the used-car-buying process, checking out several cars I was considering for no charge! We happily drive all the way there from the south shore because we like them that much. Would not trust anyone else with our cars.

    They���ve done both regular maintenance, as well as brake work. They are really quick about taking care of flat tires and such work. They have basically done all the work on this car since I���ve bought it, and I purchased this car in 2005. If I make an appointment with them, they never have a problem keeping it and doing the work on that day.

    I work about 8 minutes away, and they will give me a ride to work if I need to and they have someone available. I think their pricing is very fair and they are honest, they will not try to sell you things you don't need. Any kind of problem I have, I can take it in here.

    The most recently, I drove my car out on a really cold day and I couldn't get any heat from my car. I called them and told them about it and they told me I could bring the car in the following Monday. I dropped the car off and he found he had to replace a hose. I also asked them to replace my brakes.
