    I had a 12% rate increase over last year. When I called my local agent three times to ask that they send me a letter explaining the changes, I couldn't get someone to talk to, it would only give me the option to have them call me back at a later time. I even tried their national number and didn't have any better luck, I've now wasted several hours of my time just trying to get some information. I don't think I'm going to continue with them in the future.

    The agent that I spoke with, Craig was kind and professional.  He took my information and saved me over $75 bucks for 6 months!!   I can't believe that he beat Geico's I jumped on it...  It was so easy all I had to do was sign the paperwork on line and submit it back and Presto.....I got my Insurance card with no fuss and it was all done in one day!!  I think I will I let him quote my HOME Insurance when it comes up...he said that he can save me 10% on each policy!! What a deal!!   Great agency, great service. I would definitely recommend this agency.

    I have been with this office for 30 years, but the office was originally run by a wonderful agent, Tom Murray.  He has since retired. He always made it clear that our needs came before the corporation, and he would advise us accordingly. 
    The current agent who runs the agency is Janine Nudd.  She has been in that position for a number of years.  She never made any effort to develop a personal relationship with us, and relies on a staff to talk to clients on the phone.  I don't believe I have ever spoken directly to her. 
    My record with Allstate has been good.  Very few claims over those 30 years. In December 2012 there had been no claims for many years when I rear ended a car at 5MPH while sitting in rush hour traffic.  There were literally 2 small scratches on the guy's bumper.  He filed a claim, and Allstate raised my payments over 50%.  I have now paid out more than the cost of the repair. When I asked for the numbers to be revisited, they said they couldn't do anything about it.
    Last week my bumber was hit in a Wegman's parking lot.  I wasn't there when it happened, and the damage was nearly unnoticeable. When I came out to the car I was met by an employee and a man who witnessed the hit.  The guy who did it drove away without leaving a note.  The witness, however, took down his license plate and car info.  I considered doing nothing about it, but because it was a hit and run, I was encouraged to report it.  
    So, I called my Allstate office.  I was told that if I filed a report, the police would check out the guy and look at his car.  If they didn't find any damage or evidence on his bumper, then I would be out of luck, and I would have to file a claim through Allstate, not the guy's insurance company.  But I was then advised not to do that because my insurance would not be renewed after I made the claim!
    I'm leaving the bumper as is, and looking for another company to carry both my auto and home policies.

    Most claims are paid through my debit card. However, I have one provider that doesn't accept the debit card, so I need to submit claims for reimbursement from my health care reimbursement account. They are also very quick to process my claims and they provide my reimbursement via direct deposit into my checking account. It is very convenient. Overall, this insurance plan is a high deductible plan, so I don't have co-payments, but pay the bill after visiting a health provider. I have never had an issue with coverage. They also have Health Dollars, so when I work out or follow other healthy practices and log them in on the website, I will be eligible for a reimbursement of up to $500 for the year. This is a terrific incentive to follow a healthy lifestyle.

    Every time I need to talk to someone there at the office, they are always friendly and very helpful.  Sometimes I don't know all they have to offer but once they look at what we have, they let us know options that could save us money.  If you just visit the office you can see that everyone is willing to help the customers!
