    Eastern Site Development
we hired this company to redo our backyark space, there was excavating, installing exterior drain pipe, hardscape with pavers and masonry. The work was completed in a very professional and timely manner. When I expressed what I was envisioning for this project to the owner, he not only gave me his professional opinion but his personal opinion as well without pressuring us into a decision. He was very knowledgeable and transparent when we had questions about any part of the job. W are so incredibly happy with the outcome and it is even better than we had ever imagined!!! Please use this company if you want QUALITY work!!!!!!!

Chris Mohr Lawn Care & Masonry Inc
They completed the job satisfactorily but I later received a surprise bill for debris removal that was never discussed, never requested, and that I did not want. Part of the problem may have been that neither of the 2 workers they left on my property spoke english.

The company is prompt and punctual with both estimate and work performance. It was my own fault for not getting additional estimates, but subsequent similar work by other landscapers has shown me that this company is overpriced.

    Alberto's Fences & Tree Services
I highly recommend Alberto's Fences & Tree Service. I own a house in Flanders, NY with 4/10 of an acre. This year, the gypsy moth caterpillars came and infested my trees like a plague. I sprayed, did the duct tape and Vaseline thing, but I was too late. In addition, many of my tress were severely damaged from carpenter ants before I purchased my house. Some trees died, some I was able to save. It got to the point where I was afraid that one of the trees would fall and hit my house, or a neighbors house. Gary came and gave me a very low priced estimate, and showed up on time at 8 am the next morning! His workers were very nice gentlemen who managed to remove 14 trees with no damage to the house or power lines. They were very polite and professional, with top of the line equipment.

    SavATree Hamptons
Great to work with. Came within a few days to do estimate. First visit within a week and then a planned follow up. Very professional and considerate of my farm. I have horses but they worked perfectly and safely around them. I even saw the technician remove a Praying Mantis from the trees he was spraying and put it on a safe tree to save it. Really great.

    Carl Bongiorno & Sons, Inc
Carl called me back the day after I left the message on his phone. He and his son, Carl, showed up the following day right on time. Very pleasant, friendly and professional. We discussed what we wanted and Carl made some suggestions that would, in his opinion, look better. I trusted his judgement and am happy that I did. That was on a Friday. That evening I received a detailed estimate by email. I called to tell Carl that I would like him to begin work as soon as possible. I was provided with a very complete and professionally done contract containing work to be done, breakdown of when payments were due, terms and conditions, a masonry guarantee and references.
. The following Monday morning he and his crew arrived once again, right when he told me they would. His crew was professional and worked quickly. You could tell they really knew their trade. He finished the complete job in a little over three days. Every evening they left the area as clean as possible considering there was an ongoing project. Throughout the project Carl was not always on site, but was easily reached by cell phone. I am extremely happy with the way the project turned out! My front walkway is beautiful!

    Water World Irrigation Inc

On May 22, 2015 Erica from Water World Irrigation came to open up our sprinkler system for the spring.

We took the advice of Stefan, the owner, last year to leave the expansion tank in the pit in for the winter. (Our previous sprinkler contractor always took it out).  Initially Erica was trying to reinstall the tank after removing it and could not.  She had a very hard time doing so.  At one point we asked her if the tank was installed, and she replied no.  She asked us if we wanted it in, and we told her yes because we need it for noise reduction.  That was why it was installed in the first place.  She was going to leave it out if we didn't say anything.  Eventually she was able to reinstall it, but it took her about a half hour to do so.  Meanwhile, we were being billed for all of this time.

Upon relocating a rotary head, Erica nicked the line with a shovel and had to repair it.  We were actually billed for this, even though it was her error.  She was here for a total of three and a half hours for which we were billed.  The amount of work that was done in this time should not have taken so long.  She had great difficulty with everything she did. The total for this work was $403.00.  We would think after all this the system would have been checked completely and running perfectly. Unfortunately, it was not.

We called them and left  messages on June 8 and 9 after we saw that numerous mist heads on zone 2  were not popping up. We never received a return call.  Erica and another technician showed up unannounced on June 10.  It turns out these  heads were not adjusted properly, causing many of them not to pop up.  They were on full circle when they should have been on half circle..  They were left that way by Erica on the spring start-up. (We did not know there was a problem with these heads because the system was running at night.  It is fortunate we decided to run it early evening otherwise we would not have known until our trees died).  Also, one rotary head had to be adjusted and one replaced, and the drip system had to be repaired.  The system was checked thoroughly this time.  All of this was done by the other technician in a very noticeably short time compared to Erica.  Again, all of this should have been done on the initial spring start-up and service check.  Yet, we are being billed for additional hours and a second service call in the amount of $105.00.

On June 14 we received the second bill of $105.00 .  The very next day we received a statement that we were past due.  This company did not even allow us to review the bills before sending us a statement that we were past due.  After we received and reviewed  the two bills totaling $508.00, we called and left another message on June 15 asking to discuss them.  We also drew up a letter addressed to Stefan explaining what happened.  We faxed it to them that day and then sent it via US Mail.  We called again on June 18 to discuss the letter and the bills.  Again, we had to leave another message.  No one picks up the phone there or calls you back.  We have not received any correspondence of any kind from them.  We are trying to work it out.  We have given them numerous opportunities to contact us and they have not.  We are not asking for a lot.  We just want to be billed fairly for the work that was done.  The first service call was three and a half hours, which is an excessive amount of time for what was done, especially since the system wasn't even properly checked and adjusted in that time.  A customer should not have to pay for a worker's inability to handle the job.

They were supposed to just come out and turn on the sprinkler system for the season. I called him as soon as I received the bill, and it went straight to his voicemail. My wife then emailed him, and he emailed us today. He said he is swamped and that he could send the people that are doing the openings first thing tomorrow morning. I called and emailed him to find out what time they would be coming and he hasn't contacted me. They did all of this extra work without any of our knowledge or authorization. It should also be noted that he shut down the system last year, and there were no issues with any of the sprinkler heads. This is the first time he sent other people to open up my system, so the owner himself did not come out. I am frustrated that they didn't knock on the door to let us know they would be doing this work.

    Carrick's Service Corp.
Everything went quickly and easily.  Their machinery was top notch.  The worker operating the stump grinder took great care not to damage our fencing as the machine just fit through the 48 inch gate.  They laid down plywood so they did not do any damage to the walkway.  There were two men on scene and they were quick and professional.  The estimate was most reasonable for the work done.  I will call them first next time I have any tree problems.

The job went very well.  Carrick's were very professional, well equipped and conscientious.  Their spider lift enabled the cutter to be lifted safely to a height of about 76' and was able to get into spaces with out too much ground damage.  They did a great job of installing the new lawn,  from the grading to the seeding and fertilizing and hay protection.  The new grass has come in very nicely and looks beautiful.  All of the work went very quickly, they came when they said they were coming and were very courteous and considerate of our concerns.  They were a pleasure to deal with and we would be happy to recommend them.
