    Affordable Plumbing and Drain Cleaning
great job on the drain clearing and replaced the water heater with a higher quality one. Job went well. He took the old water heater and box. I would have had to make an appointment and pay to have a pick up.

    Benjamin Franklin Plumbing
Not as terrible as an "F" give them the next one.  So he saw what I needed in the toilet tank.  I explained to them that there was a run on the toilet kept, the water just kept running into the toilet.  There was a noise like something was overflowing in the tank.  I had removed the cover for him, so when he came into the bathroom, I showed him what was going on.  He said oh you need a new ball cock, I think that's what it's called, you can buy at a plumbing supply store.  Then he turns around and tells me okay that's going to cost you $300.  At the time I didn't think it was the wrong price, I had no idea what the pricing was like for this particular item.  Then I said while you are here I have a leak in my kitchen faucet, so he goes to check that out and says I need a part replaced in the hot and cold water side, that's going to cost you $400.  That seemed kind of expensive to me and he said why don't we just replace the whole faucet.  He says he has a faucet out in his truck, can he put in a new Delta faucet.  I had a Moet at the time.  So he said between both jobs I'm doing for you here, the labor and the cost of the parts and all this and that, it's going to cost you $800 plus tax.  And I paid it.  I found out later on by talking to other people, that was a very exorbitant price I paid, you should try and get at least a partial refund from the company.  I went back and forth with them for 2 weeks and I finally talked to someone in an executive position, let's put it that way.  Who ever I spoke to the corporate office, straightened it out with them somehow and I got a full refund back.  I would absolutely not use them in the future.

Great...I wanted my cesspool pumped and when the tech dug up the pools he brought me outside to show me the caps.  The caps from the previous owner were homemade from cement and debris....I couldn't believe it!! To think that my kids have been playing in the yard for 10 years over home-made shotty caps.  The tech recommended replacing the caps but since I didn't expect the expense that day he offered to cover the caps but mark off the area to keep the kids away and then called his boss to see if he could give me a better price.  I decided to go with new caps.  The tech explained the situation to his boss who gave me a discount...the caps were replaced that day.  I NEVER felt pressured.  The job was done, yard cleaned up.  I thought  the tech and the company were conscientious and fair.

    Selective Sculptures
Excellent !!! Everyone was careful, polite and communicated as to what the next step would be,whether it was the electrician, plumber or the tile installer. Each person cleaned up after they were done and really did a beautiful job. The owner Mike and Dominick,Nick and Brian all discussed with us beforehand as to suggestions and how it was going to proceed whether it had to do with hardware, tile, plumbing or pricing and it all went pretty much as planned. The bathroom looks georgous and my husband and I are pleased with the workmanship as well as the whole working crew and would certainly recommend Selective Sculptures to anyone who is planning to do their bathrooms over. Still waiting for the Sliding Shower door and a few things which will be done in the next few days but all said and done, we are glad that we decided to go with Selective Sculptures and My husband and I would like to thank them very much. The service tech that came was professional, explained how my system works and showed me the horrible, dangerous homemade caps that had been on my cesspool.  I didn't feel any pressure and was very thankful for the work done.

    Clearway Plumbing & Heating
They had to come back a second time to fix the toilet.  They were not too prompt.  They did not show up for the 1st scheduled appointment. It took them a couple times to fix it.  They were ok. They were nice guys and professional, but thought they could have  responded faster.

Went very well - a plumber from another company had been called and did not have the materials to fix the problem and was unable to come back for another 4 days - Artie from Shoreham Plumbing and Heating came over the day after we called and fixed the problem within 20 minutes - had everything needed in his truck.  He was courteous and professional - we ordered a new sink for the kitchen and one for the bathroom and we are calling him back as soon as they are delivered to install them.   All future plumbing problems will be performed by Shoreham Heating and Plumbing - we were very happy with the prompt service and the price.

    Ray The Plumber
I have used Ray in the past and was happy with the service. The faucet in the bathtub was leaking and it was getting worse - after various people (friends) attempted to fix it, it became clear it was a bigger job! I called Ray and they arranged a visit for the next day. It is $59.99 for them to come out, which gets applied to the total cost if you decide to have the work done. Neil came promptly, was courteous and knowledgable, and got the job done. Believe me when I tell you, this gentleman knew what he was doing. He allowed me to watch and explained exactly what the problems were and how he was going to address them. Initially I thought the price was a bit high, but after watching the level of expertise he displayed, I am convinced it was well worth it. He also reset the temperature control and it is working like a charm. I wouldn't call anyone else!
