Door to door salesman asked if we needed any home repairs done, I explained what we had. He said it was within their scope of work, and he would schedule an estimate. He mentioned that both homeowners needed to be home for the estimate. I asked why, he said it was company policy. He calls in to the office, I speak to Matt, he gets me scheduled for an appointment, reminds again of all homeowner policy. I pause, then let him know we have no interest in high-pressure sales pitch and we will not be making a decision that day. He backpedals a bit but assures me that they just like to have everyone present. I told him that was the plan. Matt calls again the day before the estimate ton confirm the appointment, mentions AGAIN that "all homeowners" must be present. This is getting tired, I almost want to say "Nevermind", but I let it go and confirm the appointment. As life happens, my wife got called into work to cover for someone who had a death in the family. We had very little notice and couldn't call. When the woman showed up for what was supposed to be the estimate, I took her around the house to show her what needed to be done. She seemed completely disinterested in what I had to say, and couldn't want to cut in and ask if the other homeowner was home. I apologized and explained the situation. She replied "I hate to break it to you but all homeowners need to be present for the estimate". Lovely. She asks if she can call the office and have me verify what happened so she gets credit for being there. I agree, and we get Matt on the phone again. I briefly express my frustration, but he explains again that it is policy. We find a time two days later where I my wife and I are both home...the kid's bedtime. So now we need to completely move our life around to accommodate their policies? I needed to get to work so I agreed. Before she leaves, the woman who came out apologizes and tells me because they are "sponsored by BJ's" they have that ALL HOMEOWNERS policy. Well that tells a story I guess. As I left for work, I played the situation through in my head and realized I had no interested in working with them. If something as silly as an initial estimate is this much of a policy-laden hassle, I probably don't want to work with them. I called back, hoping to get Matt and tell him the story, Unfortunately someone else answered and I just canceled the appointment. The company may do very good work, but I never got to that point. Maybe do your own marketing instead of working 3rd party for BJ's Home Improvement, who I'm sure takes a cut somewhere, meaning either I pay more or you get less.

We hired him to clean the gutters and replace the siding. I had him wait to do the siding until another contractor could replace our porches. The owner, Matthew Howard, called the contractor we had hired to replace the proches and had them cancel the contract, without our permission, so he could take the job. He told me that building the porches and replacing the siding would take 3 weeks back in September and it still hasn't been completed. He has been ignoring our calls and messages. He just sent men out to pick up all the tools and ladders that were left on our property.  I also had to pay an electrician come out to fix an installation he had done, by someone that wasn't an electrician, for a new light fixture.

Alex was very professional and knowledgeable with what was needed for this job.  They replaced the siding on the rear of the house and the chimney chase, making sure that diverters were placed strategically on the roof  to avoid further leaking issues.  One piece of the plywood under a window was totally rotted out, and they replaced that with new plywood.   They were meticulous in measuring the exact size needed for each piece of siding and careful and professional in their application.   New vinyl was installed on and under the soffits.   Also, at no additional charge, they repaired a big piece of the siding on the left side of the house and applied clear silicone around three vents in the front of the house to prevent bees and other insects from entering.  They were professional, courteous and totally knowledgeable about their business.  I knew I was receiving high quality work and am 100% pleased with the work completed.  I would recommend this company to anyone  Thank you Alex and crew for a professional job well done.

I thought the price quoted was high. The person who was here never locked in a price.  The contract indicated that there was room to add additional charges. He spent four hours giving a sales pitch. It was thorough but just too long. I would consider getting a quote from them in the future.

They did a couple of small projects for me. I have a wooden framed brick house with an added porch that needed replacement because the wood peckers had pecked away at the wooden shingles, so they put up aluminum siding, which was a great match and they did excellent work. They staff and they are very knowledgeable. They are one of the best in my area. I would definitely use them again in the future if needed.

For a relatively minor but necessary repair I was treated as if I was having siding done on my entire house.  Joe was timely and professional.  I will recommend NML to my family and friends who need a contractor and will use them again myself.

It went very well. I am really pleased with the custom-made back door and siding. They were personable. We have weather constraints and they got the job done in a timely fashion. They cleaned up after themselves and took away all the mess. I will know about the quality for sure in winter because I had insulated siding put on to keep warm.

I originally bought this siding from an overrun job.  Extra siding in boxes with corners and starter strip J channel.  Basically most everything I needed material wise for this project.  I was talking with family members over doing this job and it was decided that family would come up a couple weekends and help complete the siding.  As times drew near the plans changed and I was informed that I had to have all the old ripped off ahead of project time.  Then they would come up one weekend and get me started and I would have to complete it on my own.  This is a small house 730 square feet.  Siding is only about 15 square.  I originally thought it be a start to finish job where I would be the helper and they would work with me on completing this.  When those specifics changed I did not have the time to try and complete this myself so I went looking for contractors.  Don came out gave me a quote verbally and he agreed to send me an email of that quote that night.  I have to assume he sent it but electronic media sometimes has a way of not making it to my inbox.  I knew the price when he left my driveway.  I did not go any further with this project because of the unexpected costs associated with unforseen labor prices.

They found some rot in the walls of the sunroom. They took out all the rot and put in new support. On the outside they put in a layer of new sub-siding and then they put on the aluminum siding. They did a nice job. I liked them. They were professional. They were on time. They cleaned up the mess. The price was a little high, but it was good work.
