    Vincent the sales rep performed an energy audit. We never received the audit report or proposal that we were promised. My husband left a message with Vincent to inquire about this. Vincent never returned his call. They wasted our time and energy. I think that was very unprofessional and inconsiderate.

    I have a contract with Home Serve.  I been with Home Serve, for what, 9 years now or 10 something like that. Home Serve do a beautiful job every year.  They do inspection on my boiler, check everything anything that's a problem they repair and fix it.  That's part of the contract.  I have no problem with them so far  I've been with them for a very long time. I use them every year in August, they come there before the Winter they would come there and service my boiler.  They due to come back again this year in August again to make sure my boiler is running good for the Winter. It's part of the contract.  I pay three-something a year for it and every year I call and any problem with the boiler, that's included in the price, for parts and labor all that stuff.  It's beautiful.  Something was wrong with my, I think my ignition light with my boiler.  They came and they repair it and they were gone.  Very professional, when the guys come there they explain to you, you know, they explain things to you as they work.  You ask them questions and they break it down to you, which I have done numerous times, you know what I mean.  They tell me how often should I change the water in my boiler.  They talk to you, the repair guys are very good.  They come there they do their job and they go on.  Because the price I paid every year and the labor and the parts, if I had to that with a plumber, it would be a lot more than that, way a lot more. Right, so the price I pay with the contract comes to $300 a  year,  and that includes parts and labor, oh yeah I'll take that anytime.  I would never let them go.  When you call them they give you a window, you know, what time the technician gonna be there.  I've never had a problem, I've been with them a very long time and I have never had any problem with them.  When I call them. they tell me the time they coming, and they always there.  I'm not home, my wife is home and they came and left and she text me while I'm at work.  The guy came there did the boiler, and he go on.  I like that.

    They come check every year. It's taken out of our checking account every month. At the end of the year, or the fall, they come. They check the boiler to make sure it's working properly. They usually send me a postcard or something saying it's time. I call to make an appointment and they come. My Father had them originally, but he's passed on and I kept them on. They come every year. They are very good. I only see them once a year. I'm used to them I guess. They're already paid for so we just use them. We don't really need them that much, just to check the boiler. They couldn't improve on much. One time we did have a problem, there was a part missing, so they ordered it. They said they would call us when it comes and they did and they came back and installed it. Usually I call the 800 #. I think it goes through to Texas and they'll send somebody out. They come when you call, no problem, make an appointment and they're very good at what they do. There's not much cleaning to do because the boiler is already lit. I just turn on the light and they just check it. There's nothing to clean up.

    Work has always been done properly and workers are polite and professional. They are not the cheapest, but they do try to do the least amount of work that will solve the problem. The last time I tried to use another service provider to save a little money, I ended up calling Mako anyway to fix a bigger problem created due to their lack of expertise. I won't make that mistake again. I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of a plumber.

    Danny is a very knowlegeable individual in the HVAC field. He came over my house to give me an estimate and the installation was done 2.5 weeks later. It was supposed to take 3 days, but they ended up finishing in 2. 
    They are the guys to call when you want a ductless mini split system and want it installed the proper way. I had gotten a few estimates for the installation, and even though Danny's price was higher, I was a lot more comfortable in working with him. It is the quality of work you pay for and you definitely do not want to cut corners when installing a  ductless unit. I was very happy after the work was done, and I got my money's worth.
    I recommend Pacific HVAC highly and if you are looking for a ductless mini split, you should only call these guys.

    Central Air & Heat Inc
    The AC unit at one of my rental properties was not working.  I called a few contractors and was told that I have to replace the unit.  I shopped around and found Central Air & Heat Inc, when I called them they were able to come out to the property within 2 hours and Mr. Tony arrived on time as scheduled.  It was the coil that needed to get replaced and it cost me only a fraction of the price I got from the other contractors.  The AC unit has been working since with no issues as Mr. Tony guaranteed. He was able to give me an diagnosis that was honest, reasonable and valid.  He provides quality, reliable and professional services at a reasonable and low cost.   I have been using this company for a couple of years now and I highly recommend them.

    Accurate Cooling Corp
    Can't say enough about how pleased I was with Bob Verity of Accurate cooling. Here's the scenario:
      • Call to Bob's office to set up a visit to my house to get an estimate. Bob arrived 10 minutes early. He did a quick survey of my house, but didn't miss a thing (I had a unit like this installed 11 years ago so I knew what needed to be done).
    • Bob called the next day with the estimate for installation, including the electrical work (no need to hire a separate electrician, Bob does the work himself). I agreed to his reasonable price immediately and we set up a date for installation (in about 2 weeks)
    • Bob and a helper arrived on time the day of the installation and completed the job by mid-afternoon despite being slowed by some heavy thunderstorms.

    Fast, efficient, clean, professional, friendly, quality work -- these words of praise come from someone who spent some time in the construction business and knows a good thing when he sees it. Oh, and he kept to the original estimate.

    =Overall: very good.They were about 30 minutes late and didn't call. I called them and they said they had written down the wrong area code for my cell phone, but were on the way. (My cell has a different area code than my residence.) They arrived within a half hour of the call.They were no-fuss, no-muss; polite, but not chatty.They did the job quickly and at the estimated cost .It looks good.

    In the late afternoon discovered that there was no heat on the main floor of the house so called Dundee Plumbing. Their person arrived within an hour as promised and fixed the problem within 90 minutes. Person was very professional and cleaned up the area after work was done.

    Our experience with them was fine, but we had to spend a lot of money for it. They knew what they were doing and did what they had to do. My husband and I got a few estimates from others before we went with Stanley Gelber and Sons. They seemed approachable and we liked them, so we chose them. They were cheaper than the others who gave us estimates, but were still a bit expensive. I have recommended them to two people who saw their work and liked it.
