    Anwer, Dr. Farrukh
Everytime I go it has been fine. In general, I am concerned about the safety of so many vaccines at one time (The Vaccine Book by Dr. Sears), so we have decided to space them out. (I am not choosing not to vaccinate my child, and since she just turned one, the only shots she hasn't had yet are her one year shots) Usually I feel completely comfortable, as Dr Anwer has always said spacing them out is no big deal and we are welcome to do that, as long as we are willing to bring her in slightly more often. This last time, however, I felt like he wasn't okay with waiting a little longer on her 1-year shots. He openly said that if I was deciding not to give them to her then we "would need to have a little talk", which suits me just fine- kids should get vaccinated. I am writing this review for parents who want to consider alternative vaccination schedules-- Dr. Anwer is okay with that, but not totally supportive. We have had two other pediatricians, because of moving, who have been far more understanding and tried to give us their helpful opinions about specific shots. In short, I will continue to use Dr. Anwer gladly, because I think he is a good doctor and because I believe the best endorsement is from the staff at the hospital they go to, which Dr. Anwer has. If you are considering skipping or delaying vaccines, you may be able to find a more supportive pediatrician.

we have been going to Brighton Hill Pediatrics for over 7 years. The staff is great with kids of all ages. Even my 18 year old son was comfortable going there.

We have always had a pleasant experience with the office. Occasionally we wait a little while to see the doctor, but it's never too long. They are really responsive to phone calls and on the weekends as well.

    Vargas, Dr. Jose
My daughter is 16 so she has been seeing him for 16 years. It is where she has just gone. She absolutely feels comfortable with him.

Child Health Care Associates - East Syracuse
They have enough doctors so we can usually get an appointment rather quickly. They are kid-friendly. We've been using them for about a year.

    Summerwood Pediatrics
They have many pediatricians and they do not necessarily assign you to have the same one each visit unless you request and schedule it this way. They also have weekend hours, so sick visit availability is not a problem as long as you don't mind seeing somebody other than the primary doctor. We schedule to have the same doctor each visit, although you don't always see a pediatrician if it is just a vaccine visit.

    Madison Irving Pediatrics
We've seen Dr. Hingre at Madison-Iriving pediatrics for the last two years and had generally good experiences. The in-room wait time is sometimes a little long, but in general the staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. We have always been able to get an appointment in case of an acute illness, even on Saturdays. Outside of appointments, the nurses have been happy to talk via telephone through whatever questions or concerns we have had.

    Brighton Hill Pediatrics
This practice never gives up until they find an answer. When my daughter was four, she was brought to the ER due to being unresponsive. She was revived with medication and glucose. Her pediatrician, Dr. Webster, was there as the sun was coming up to check on her. She worked closely with the emergency and endocrine team to find the cause of the problem. They never gave up trying new ideas. Amanda is now 16 and doing beautifully. She is planning on going to med school in the future. Dr. Webster never belittles our concerns and always finds a solution or points us in the direction of a specialist who can.

    Jennifer Rufa MD,FAAP
My son was born on 8/7/09 and I really disliked his pediatrician.  A friend suggested I try out her kids' doctor at Pediatric Associates.  I couldn't get my son in to that doctor, so I took an appointment with Dr. Rufa just to get established.  My intent was to switch to the other doctor later.  I absolutely loved Dr. Rufa.  She was easy to talk to, she didn't criticize or judge, and my son took to her right away.  He needed 4 vaccines on his first visit and he didn't even realize she was giving him shots until after the 3rd one.  I will be sticking with Dr. Rufa, she is terrific.

We have been working with them for four years. Our experience has been great. They are fantastic. They are accommodating when we come in last minute. I would recommend them and use them again.
