    GKontos Inc. Roofing Specialists
GKontos far exceeds expectations GKonton Inc. is a Highly professional and knowledgeable company. George was very attentive and listened and explained all my options. When it came time to replace my roof, his crew proved to be very hard-working, timely and skilled. I could not be happier with my results. Not only does my house look better, I know it is safer and its value has risen. They did an amazing job!

The job was professionally done. This wasn't the best of summers for a new roof between periods of rain. Additionally, I needed additional paperwork for approval by the homeowner's association. Matt, our salesman, helped work through the obstacles to completion of the roof and installation of new gutters. The job foreman, Louis, was very professional and accommodating. The roof took three days. They started early to assure that the job would be completed in the timeframe. All old shingles, paper, nails were efficiently disposed by the time the job was finished. The dumpster was removed first thing the next workday. The roof and gutters look perfect. The gutters were installed in a matter of hours and old materials also were efficiently disposed of. Through the last two torrential rains since the roof was installed, there have been no issues. (The roof had been finished three weeks ago, and the gutters were just installed.) I have nothing but good to say about Exterior Solutions.

Had used Harris Roofing a few years ago to repair storm damage to roof. It was an ardous process to set up a date for the work. The actual work went well and was well done. I thought I would ask Harris Roofing to bid on a roof replacement, as I contacted a few roofers before making a final decision. I called to set up an appointment, but they never called me back with a date. Getting work done should be easy. You have money and a job. You contact a contractor who does that type of work. You agree on a price. They do the job and you pay them. That doesn't seem to be the process here.

    shed guys
were do i begin? the shed guy assured me that he had experience in the installation of such. it was apparent, from the start of the job, that the shed guy didn't have a clue. not a clue what-so-ever. the installation fell far, far below my expectations. very shoddy job with absolutely no attention to detail. --- corners that should've been bent and wrapped to form a tight seal were rare at best. --- roof manufacturer estimated that it would take a better part of 2 bags of screws to secure the roof, which i had on hand. the shed guy used about a 1/2 of 1 bag and was proud to say that i had leftovers. in most cases the shed guy using as little as 6 screws to install trim pieces that wrap soffits across an 18' to 16' span. --- roof manufacture recommends using butyl tape whenever metal touches metal. i had 100' available - shed guy used 0'. instead the shed guy insisted on using caulk. which, i had to run into town to buy while they waited because they brought none. i bought 2 tubes. they used just shy of 1 of them. --- every metal roof that i've ever seen has the screws that hold the roof panels themselves installed in a horizontal pattern. that is, across the roof as opposed to peek to bottom. did the shed guy install the screws in that pattern? of course not. he installed peek to bottom. would an experienced metal roofer do that? i find it hard to believe that even a novice metal roofer would do that. come on, really? --- screws were driven with no attempt to creating a smooth, divot free look. i guess i should be thankful that the shed guys didn't use that many screws. notice that i rated the shed guys a '2' in punctuality. that's the shed guys only redeeming quality. why? because, in my opinion, they are the epitome of contractors who are in for the quick buck. in-and-out. no guarantee what-so-ever - i tried to negotiate one. the shed guys refused. give me your money, and, don't call me if there's a problem was his sales pitch. and, he insisted on payment in cash. totally, totally, dissatisfied. i'm actually thinking about ripping it all of in the spring and replacing with cedar roofing shakes. that's how upset i am. i blame myself. i didn't have a good feeling from the start. but, i was desperate to get the roof on before winter set in. never again! from now on i'm going with my gut. don't hire this guy. his website doesn't even include a business address, just a phone number. suspicious?

    Xterior Solutions
Everything went very well. There was a good selection of shingle designs to select from. I live in a planned community which requires prior approval, and Xterior was prompt in providing all necessary to information to get approval without any delays. The crew was one time and completed the job on schedule. The areas was thoroughly cleaned and all material removed at the end of the work.

    Miguels Roofing
I can't say enough positive things about Miguel's roofing. I contacted Miguel, via email, on 12/23 and he promptly responded on 12/24. My chimney was leaking rain water into my fireplace and into my family room. After explaining the situation to Miguel he explained what he believed the problem was and made an appointment to come to my house on 12/26. He promptly arrived at our scheduled time and looked at the problem and identified it. Due to predicted inclement weather , Miguel, went right to work. He was very professional , neat , courteous and a genuine nice gentleman. I look forward to hiring him for any of our future needs and he epitomizes the American spirit with his hard work, ethics and values. Thanks again Miguel aka Mariano Riveras twin !! ?

They did a great job. They weren't able to fix a leak in my roof for me, but they slowed it down. It didn't last very long and started leaking again. They were good at cleaning up. He's a very good guy. He sent two guys out who were very nice.

    My Way Home Improvement Inc
Tony, the owner of My Way, has done work for us over the last two years in various areas of our home and we?ve been extremely satisfied with both the experience and the work.
Let me start with price.  Tony?s charges are very reasonable but his quotes aren?t usually the lowest we receive. What makes Tony?s price a better value is that he doesn?t look for ways to nickel and dime you. For example, during the quoting process a couple of years ago when we first met Tony, another contractor we were considering (and were about to sign with) discovered we wanted a pedestal sink installed in our new bathroom rather than a sink with a vanity that we?d told him about earlier. He wanted $500 more due to the fact that the plumbing would have to be moved to be properly hidden behind the pedestal.  I phoned Tony to see what he?d charge to change his quote to include a pedestal sink and he said, ?Buy whatever sink you want, it makes no difference.?  He?s had this kind of attitude throughout all the jobs he?s done for us.
Another thing about Tony is how meticulous he is. The tilework he does, the way he installs shingles and flashing, the way he and his crew clean up during and after the job, the way he shows up EXACTLY when he says he?s going to show up, these are just a few of the things that have impressed the heck out of us.  I also have to mention that his office manager, Lisa, is just like Tony.  She?s pleasant, prompt, meticulous and accurate.
Rereading what I?ve written here, I?d like to be able to say something about My Way that we've had a bit of a problem with in order to make this rave review more credible but, to be honest, I can?t think of any negatives. He?s redone our roof, our deck, and a couple of bathrooms and we?re really happy.  I don?t use this word lightly but, truly, this company is exemplary.
