Quality of the work was impressive considering the scope of the job. They also finished in less time than anticipated. AArtistic Landscapes LLCFrom the moment we placed our initial call, Rhett was timely in responding and providing us an estimate. Rhett provided us with a very professional and beautiful plan. His written estimate outlined all the services we were going to receive and there were no hidden costs or charges. Our project took approximately two and a half weeks. Rhett kept us posted on the starting date and the project started and ended on time. The crew showed up every day they were scheduled and were very professional. Rhett was onsite almost daily to check on the progress. When we posed a concern to Rhett, we received a return call rapidly, and our issue was addressed and fixed the same afternoon. We received full front yard landscaping with new brick paver sidewalk and front stoop; new flower beds, with plants; a sprinkler system with re-seeding of our lawn; a retaining wall in the back yard, lighting in the new retaining wall; path lights in the front yard and new lights for the existing stairs in the front. The project was completed timely and looks very professional. I will definitely use Artistic Landscapes in the future!- Michael B.

CThe actual job went well. I picked them because I knew an employee that worked there. They seemed to be very professional and reliable. I don't have too many complaints about the original job. My problem started when I needed them to come and fix things under warranty. They planted in November when it was cold. I voiced concern the plants would not come back. They said to call and it would be replaced if they did not come back in spring. They did not but they have still not been replaced despite multiple calls and patience on my behalf. Also, some of the walkway has settled, electrical wires are visible, and a drainage problem also exist that need to be fixed that they are aware of. They have been paid in full for an incomplete job. I just want it fixed!

CWe had a large patio installed and upon completion they had to come out 3x over 6 months to correct the grading as there was water running into our basement as a result of the poor grade job initially. With regard to yard care, their office service consistently was non responsive, offered no specific dates they would be able to do service nor responded to requests for follow up.

FWhen I hired Rhett Goslar owner/president of Artistic Landscapes, several years ago to build a pool deck, retaining walls and flower beds I found him to be professional and responsive. At the time I was pleased with the job Artistic Landscapes had done and I wrote a review on Angie’s List of the great job. Unfortunately to only discover a few years later that he is not a man of his spoken word or his contractual word. He states in his contract that he provides a lifetime guarantee of his workmanship – Hogwash!!! After leaving numerous messages over several months to request he repair the retaining wall and re-adjust the Techno-bloc pool deck which has now settled causing a hazardous tripping condition, I realized Artistic Landscapes is an unreliable company that gives customers a false sense of reassurance that they will deliver on their contractual obligations. Rhett is not the man he pretends to be leaving me to make right what he was incapable of doing in the first place. I am now left having to spend upwards of $30K to repair what Artistic Landscapes was paid over $80K to do originally. This is unconscionable. Not sure how they sleep at night at Artistic Landscapes. I hope by sharing my experience I prevent the next person from making the same mistake I made of hiring Artistic Landscapes

FInitially, well. However, promised quotation never reached me and my follow-up messages and phone calls were not answered. I will change this review, if the proprietor replies to my calls and messages. So far, the conduct is unprofessional and disrespectful to me as I relied on his promise to quote the job. If he is busy and can't start my project he should just say so.
