  • I went to Euphoria Salon based on other reviewer's comments here on Angie's List.  Lisa was my stylist, and immediately upon sitting in her chair she gave me one of the best consultations I've ever had.  She really "dug" into my hair to see what was going on, then discussed the color and cut, and determined if my expectations could be met.  Everything turned out fantastic.  I was really impressed with everyone at the salon and their level of communication with each other - the stylists were encouraging & offered advice to one another.  It truly felt like a team/family environment.  I already booked my next appointment.

  • I've gone to Euphoria Salon three times over the past spring/summer, each time for a cut, color, glaze and blow dry. Karen has been my stylist each time, and she's great--skilled, professional and truly cares about and quot;getting it rightand quot; so that you walk out the door happy. Whenever I return, she always asks if I was satisfied with the color and how the cut worked for me and addresses any questions or concerns I may have. It's such a nice change to have a stylist actually listen and do what I ask (and help me figure out exactly what it is I want!). This salon uses Aveda products, which leave my hair in great condition. Even though Karen is the only stylist I've worked with, in watching the rest of the staff in action, I find them to be friendly, considerate and professional with all of their clientele. I highly recommend them.

  • The stylist had me sign a waiver regarding the result of her work before she would color my hair. I needed to have my color lightened as the ends were darker than the top. She suggested heavy highlights instead of trying to lighten the ends. This turned out okay. But the cut was uneven in the front. I mentioned this to her when she finished and she attempted to make both sides even several times. Unfortunately it is not even. I think when you pay $150 the sides should be even in front.

  • Pat and his family have been cutting my hair ever since I was a little kid. (I'm 37 now.) I wouldn't dream of letting anyone else touch it. Pat, Sue, and their entire staff are awesome! They treat you like family and make sure you always walk out 100% satisfied. Don't know what color would look best in your hair? Let Pat use his expertise to work his magic. Not sure what hairstyle to get? Pat and crew will make you walk out feeling like a model. Need to get a manicure or pedicure? Sue and the crew are the best in the business! I always know that when I go to East Coast Salon, I'm walking into a clean establishment. Everyone there is super hard working and does a fantastic job. The customer is always the number one priority, and is treated to an A+ enjoyable and relaxing experience.

  • At my last visit, the stylist was so extremely rude and unfriendly.  She spent the entire time reminding me how little I knew about hair lingo and what I was trying to go for.  I knew that, which is why I prefaced our entire encounter with that fact, hoping she could help me decide what would look best.  I was also called and asked to come in early, which I did.  Her next client arrived shortly after I did and she was obviously rushing to get to her quickly (during my appointment time).  When she was done I asked her to take the back up higher because it was not where I wanted it.  She huffed at me, cut it, and sent me on my way without saying much more.  Down at the front desk, I left her a 20% tip (because I can't bring myself to undertip or stiff someone).  I told the woman checking me out that I was very unhappy with my visit and that the stylist was rude and went out of her way to make me feel silly or stupid.  She simply said "Oh, uh, sorry.  Have a great day". 
    On the day of my baby shower, I came to Marlene Weber to get a pedicure and manicure while family was setting our house up for the party.  The girl doing my nails must have just done her own nails, because she was being so careful (and slow) not to touch her nails onto anything.  Both my feet and hands looked like child's play and I had to stop at CVS to buy a corrector pen to fix my nails before going home.  She was going so slow and doing such a bad job, that I didn't even want to ask her to fix them because at that point I was running so late.  I was once again ignored at the front desk when I complained about what happened.  If you're paying over $60 to have your nails done, it better be done well and with a smile.
    This is only two of my negative experiences at Marlene Weber.  I will no longer go there or recommend them to anyone.

  • I asked if he could give me a hair dryer, and he said, "How about some mouse?" and shoved some mouse in my hair. How could you just leave someone soaking wet and push them out the door? Just because I didn't want to style my hair doesn't mean I want to walk around with wet hair. Even a towel would be nice. He also charged me for stuff I didn't ask for. I only wanted a half-head of color, but he charged me for a full head.

  • They are able to handle walk-ins readily. Whenever I find the time I can go there as a walk-in. They have a large number of employees who work various hours, various days. It's unlikely that I would see the same person from one time to the next time. That is why sometimes I have a very good haircut and sometimes the haircut is okay. So it depends on the luck of who is available if I have a walk-in. I think that all of them are acceptable although I could tell the difference that some are better than the others as far as customizing my haircut to make me look my best.

  • They have great location.  The store is beautiful inside.  They have beverages.  They are friendly and creative.  They are considerate.
