Drywall reviews in Port Jervis

    Ramon Drywall
I had a 4' x 5' rectangular hole in my living room/dining room ceiling from a leak in the upstairs shower that I repaired myself, However I'm no spackle and sanding guy myself, although I attempted the work it wasn't coming out the way I intended. So I called Ramon for a price quote and when he came to my home he noticed a few other areas that were uneven/cracked due to the house settling (built in 2008) and he quoted me $400 to undo the mess I did, re-spackle, sand, skim coat the other areas too and leave the area ready to paint.
Well to my surprise I was ready to do the job there and then and there November 27th and so was he. He had a worker with him and all the materials to start the job that day. Well needless to say its a job that requires the spackle to dry so that it can be sanded and another coat added and also allowed to dry and be sanded again for the skim coat to be applied. Well the first day all the priliminary work was done and by December 2, 2013 all the work was done and ready to be painted. It looks as though the cracks and hole were never there to begin with.
The work was done very professional and I can say that Ramon really knows his craft. Now the cleaning is another deal. He didn't bring enough covers to cover all of the furniture so that the sanding from the spackle didn't get on everything, lucky I had some spare paint cloths lying in the basement that I used to cover the areas left exposed. But that is a small thing compared to the work that was provided. The cost of the job was a little on the upside of what I wanted to pay but overall I'm very satisfied with the work and would definitely call Ramon back for future work and would highly recommend him to anyone needing drywall work done.
    Sincerely,
    Richard Rodriguez
