APrecision Painting Plus of Long IslandExcellent. Precision Painting Plus was not the lowest quote I got, but I chose them based on reviews, on-site meetings with them, and the overall vibe of professionalism & calm I got from them. And boy am I happy I did. They were able to pull off a mini-renovation of my new home in an impossible time frame, with holidays in between, and during a pandemic. I had work-in-progress concerns along the way, but Brendan and Matt assured me that all will go well. And it did. They were able to get so much accomplished and completed in time for my move in date, and ultimately the Christmas holiday. I am very grateful for their hard work and efforts. AETC Home ImprovementEddie Costa and his ETC Home Improvement team are the only general contractors I will work with. I have used ETC many times over several years, and I am never disappointed. Eddie is my general contractor for several rentals and my home. He put a beautiful kitchen in a shore rental, does every aspect of the construction bringing in great plumbers and electricians, too. Eddie aligns his work and subcontractors so it goes fast. He brings in locally constructed kitchen cabinets that are beautiful. Eddie is just finishing a home office addition and master closet for me, and it turned out perfect. Finish carpentry by Carlos is amongst the best I have seen. I can’t say enough about how professional Ed is, and all the team he brings in. His prices are very reasonable for the quality you will get. For major projects, you will not have to hires anyone else, he has the best on his team. I recommend Eddie and ETC at the highest level.- Joann L.

AJobs for a Handyman llcI hired Elvis and his team to build custom shelves, install a shower system and minor repairs to my home. They were professional and knowledgeable concerning the jobs contracted. I am ecstatic with the results of their work. Everything was completed on time and cost did not go over budget. I was so impressed with the work that I contracted for them to install a retaking wall and repair some fencing on my property for the spring. I have had the fencing repaired 3 times prior by other people. Not one mentioned my main problem was a lack of a retaining wall. I trust that Elvis and his crew will finally fix the issues I have with soil erosion.- Lucia G.

ATedora IncIgor and his team were fantastic! I worked as the interior designer on the project and this was our first project together. They were able to start right away and wrapped up the project for the clients just before Christmas. The quality of work was high and his price was fair. The tile work especially was beautiful. He even brought in a sub-contractor for the countertops and I could not be happier with the result of everything. He was very easy to communicate and work with and ran everything by me which I truly appreciate. They patched, painted and water proofed our basement walls, bricked up some unneeded window wells and paved an awkward area under our deck. FUnprofessional, Rude, DO NOT HIRE, We started our long and wasted relationship with Phil on May 22,2020. He said he would come and look at hot tub on Sat May 23. Never showed! “ Had lots to finish from week“ So I asked him if he still wanted to do the repair and he said yes but he was busy because people wanted their pools open for Monday. ( I too wanted repair for Monday) So I than asked when he could come? “ next weekend” During the week swung by to look at hot tub needed help to move hot tub to find leak. Meanwhile he removed and scattered all panels to hot tub all over back yard.. left a paint bucket with all screws in it and cover hardware all over deck.. ( should have photographed). May 27, NO SHOW,! At 7:07 I texted him to ask where he was and he said No. first thing next morning. 10-12 pm. May 28came with help to pull hot tub away from deck. Spent some time looking at tub. My son and I were standing in my doorway as he walked pass us got in his truck and LEFT .... TEXTED ME. Later to say he wanted to “ get out of rain” that’s why he walked pass me without saying anything... Explained repair. Caulking the leak ( which he had to order). Let it dry and would be a week after that...... 2 weeks more Than MEGAN his “COMMUNICATION LIASON” no I didn’t make that up.. got involved . June 4 spa caulk in. Oops sorry not in have to wait June 11, spa caulk in Scheduled for June 17 th Oops June 17 th installing a fence can’t come June 18 8:24 pm not yet 8:45 pm showed up cannot do repair.. too dark .. shocking Tells husband will be back Sat am 8 o’clock June 20 12:28 Saturday no show Sent text to Megan So was told he never said 8 am Was reprimanded by Megan as she continued to argue with me about the length of repair and accused my husband of lying about time.. So I than looked at other reviews and saw that ANYONE who had a negative experience was also abused by MEGAN. 2 of which mentioned times given by Phil that were never honored. When I mentioned this to Megan the comments disappeared.HMMM,M SO I know this is incredibly long and if you have gotten this far... DO NOT hire this terrible company Oh btw had to hire someone else REPAIR TOOK 4 hrs 1 visit And NO CAULK Angies list should be ashamed

AThis is our second time using JBL home improvement. Dave and the JBL crew are excellent people to work with. They started work right away and Dave kept us informed of possible delays with furnishings due to the Pandemic. He always followed up with the cabinet and granite manufacturers and kept us informed of their progress. The crew was excellent and clean. Everyday they left all work areas clean. They always gave us options and opinions for furnishing placement. We are looking forward to using JBL for our future home renovations.
