ATri-State Window Factory CorpI've used tri-state in my Home for years. We've replaced every window, and had new sliding doors installed. Most recently we had a new storm door put on the back of the house and replaced our last "old window." Andreas and team were fantastic (as they have always been!) the measurements were completed at the time they indicated (and the gentleman wore mask and gloves without question) and the day of installation was seamless and clean. AMagnolia Home Remodeling GroupWe worked with Chris from Magnolia on a second floor remodel and were extremely happy with the process and results. The reno included demolition, framing for new roofline and dormers, roof and gutters, siding, new master bathroom, master closet, laundry space, wood floor and stairs, doors, millwork, tiling, masonry for a chimney extension, windows, and central air system. Chris is a great guy, very easy to work with it, trustworthy, and responsive. He hires skilled subcontractors and kept the reno moving at a good pace. There were no surprises with either the budget or scope of work. Magnolia made our dreams come true with this reno and we would definitely recommend them for your job.- Beth H.

AFlying Colors Roofing and PaintersThis is the third time I have hired Flying Colors ... their work is impeccable. My most recent project involved interior painting although one of my prior projects was for exterior stain and painting. The job could not have gone better. Steve showed up on time to inspect my house and followed up with a clearly written quote. He had a large backlog of work and couldn't start the job for a few weeks which was not a problem for us. He did start the job when promised and was always easy to reach. His painting team (led by Alex) always arrived on time and were extremely careful with every aspect of the job - prep, painting, and clean up. Their attention to detail was incredible - my walls and trim looks like brand new. I don't know of a better painting contractor than Flying Colors.- James F.

The owner and his subcontractors were professional, and top notch in terms of skill and quality, but most importantly efficiency. They completed a 2.5 story full siding job with window wraps and underlaying insulation for the most competitive price, and in the 4 day window (one day off for rain). AJ & S Painting Plus IncWe chose J & S Painting Plus, Inc. for four reasons: Jay got back to me immediately. He had a quiet, positive can-do demeanor. He made us feel completely comfortable; our gut told us this is a trustworthy gentleman. On the first day of the job, he arrived with this team. He introduced us to his workers and explained that the job would take 5 days to complete painting our kitchen cabinets. At the end of the day, he returned to see the progress. On the third day, Jay came back to see the wonderful progress. On the last day, he came again to do a walk-through with me. Truly amazing! His guys were very professional. Always arrived on time. Really great guys. I might add, they arrived in miserable snowy weather ON TIME. They worked non-stop each day, quietly, listening quietly to some great music. We did a walk-through each day and they addressed every single one of my concerns. J & S Painting Plus, Inc pricing was the most expensive of all the estimates we received, but it was worth it. AThis is part 2 of a previously submitted review. We were preparing our home for sale but were delayed by the Covid pandemic. We finally had Matt return in late spring to finish painting. I was concerned because we had refinished our hardwood floors, but Matt was beyond respectful to our home and he and Jair did a wonderful, clean and thorough job. People have commented on the quality of the paint job and it's because of the thorough preparation of the walls, banging nails back into the walls and using the best paint. Matt also spent valuable time on things that enhanced the look of our home and brought it up to date. For example, he replaced our two 1960's era thermostats with more up to date models with digital displays. The research required to find compatible thermostats was not easy, but Matt persisted and it created a new, more vibrant look to our home. This scenario was typical of everything that Matt and Jair did. I want to caution readers that Matt may not be the least expensive estimate that you will get, but the value that one gets is well worth it. The proof in our situation is that we put our house up for sale in September and had 4 offers within the first two weeks. One of the offers was above our asking price. Much of the credit must go to Matt who is truly a "Master Handyman."

AFor the first time in a very long time, i can honestly say every dealing with Piazza construction was professional, honest, and very well done. When they said they would be here at 8, they were here at 7:55 and ready to go at 8. They worked hard, cleaned up well, were respectful, and went above and beyond to make the basement look amazing. the price was competitive and from start to finish, we kept remarking how for the first time, we are having a wonderful experience with our new one and only contractor!! We will definitely hire them again. When we asked for suggestions or advice, they were helpful, when we noticed something we might want to change, they were flexible, and most of all, they treated our house like their own.

Freddy is professional; up front and honest; responsive and always on time. His quotes are accurate and work is always on time and high quality. He is flexible and willing to think through a complex project with you. I would not use anyone else as future jobs come up.

AWe are very fortunate to have an honest and respectful outfit like Renovations direct in our area. They do exactly as they say and they are really conscience of setting expectations (timing, budget, other considerations you might not have thought of). The quality of work is very high and their knowledge of how to build/fix something so it is sound and will last is excellent. Prices are fair for the output. You can always find cheaper but for the level of communication, respect, honesty and quality of work, I am always happy with their prices and end result.
