    He diagnosed the problem quickly and was on time. Came back the next day on time with the part, and quickly made the repair. Was within a few dollars of original estimate. Really a class act. It's my first time using Angie's List, will use both the list and the repairman again.

    It went great. Nadir is a super repairman & the nicest person. He returned my call promptly. When I explained the situation, he told me exactly what was wrong, the part that needed to be replaced, the work he would have to do to deice the interior coils, and the fee. He arrived exactly on time. Both my husband & I watched him take the freezer apart, then use a steamer to melt the 2 inch think ice that accumulated on coils due to the faulty switch. We laughed and talked while he did the work. He also told me the cost prior to coming over and gave me the option of thinking it over, or having him come over shortly since he just finished another repair nearby. This was not an emergency we had another fridge in the basement, but both my husband & I agreed he should come over. So glad we did, fridge working beautifully, work is guaranteed, and Nadir very trustworthy would call him back for another repair in a heartbeat.

    My Whirlpool washing machine stopped working.  It would not fill with water.  I call Blue ribbon on 4/12/16 at about 5PM.  Nadir answered the phone and made an appointment for 4/13/16 at 8AM.  He arrived at 7:50AM on 4/13, quickly diagnosed the problem (water pressure sensor), obtained the part's price and availability, gave me a quote for the repair and told me he could come back later that day or anytime that was convenient for me.  We scheduled an appointment for the next day at 4PM and I asked him to also replace my dryer vent line.  He arrived on time on the 14th, replaced the part in my washing machine and replaced my dryer vent line.  He completed the job promptly, professionally and courteously. 
    Nadir was a pleasure to deal with and I would certainly recommend him.

    He came in the snow, identified why my side-by-side freezer was cool only in the lower area. Then he told me that one of two things would happen: if the first thing happened, it would mean it was something inside the freezer; if the other thing happened, it would mean the main board needed to be replaced. Which is what it was.  Sometime during this process, he fixed the support that holds up the produce drawer  in the fridge on one side, which required unscrewing the plastic support, drillling a new hole in it, and then screwing a new screw into this hole and into the wall of the fridge. For which he did not charge extra.
    And did it all with the most pleasant personality!
    Nadir Bennekaa is a keeper!

    I called on a Wednesday and was given a Saturday appointment. I received a call the morning of the appointment giving me a three hour time frame. Technician showed up within the stated time frame and replaced the belt on the dryer.

    COMPLETE APPLIANCE & AC RPR
    The problem started I ran the machine, as directed by the tech.  Again, water started leaking from the bottom of the machine.  I called Complete Appliance.  A woman answered the phone who gruffly barked "SERVICE" when she picked up.  I explained what happened, and she spoke to someone in the background, who said that the tech ran all the tests and there was no leak.  He (Anthony) then got on the phone, and I said that there was now water leaking on the floor, and the tech said he would come back.  He said that the tech was busy all day, that he would not come back, and that I had to call PC Richards.  I said that I was very unhappy as I had taken time off work (given a 9am to 2pm timeframe from them), and still having the exact same issue.  He didn't care, and said "go ahead, call PC Richards then".  
    I did call PC Richards, but they won't be able to reschedule this until tonight  when the "order" comes through.

    Don arrived well within timeframe given for both the estimate and repair work.  Professional, knowledgeable, personable.  Limited availability of the part, but found it and repaired the oven within 10 days of initial contact.  While I wish the price was less, the oven needed a "new computer", and I was happy not to have to buy a new stove/oven!

    Very happy I found him and will not hesitate to use his service again.

    Rod's TV and Appliance Service
    Rod's TV and Appliance Service came 20 minutes late at 5:20 with two servicemen.  One was friendly and the other one looked like he did not speak english.  I explained the who story and they ran the machine for 10 minutes.  They called their supervisor who said it would need two electronic boards.  I was told it would arrive in 3 to 4 business days. I never received a call back from them.  Everytime I called them I either did not get through or I was told the part did not come in yet.  I finally called Geek Squad on Septembet 19th 2014 after numorius phone calls to the provider.  Best Buy called Rod's TV and Appliance Service and told them that the parts they needed were not made anymore. Rod's TV and Appliance Service called me and said the parts were not made anymore.  My wife had to lug the laundry back and forth to the laundromat.  If you do a Google search on this company there are alot of other people that have the same problem.

    AAA ABOVE ALL APPLIANCE REPAIR SERVICE
    On the ice maker: It stopped working again.  This time it was not dispensing.  He took out a part. I never was able to contact him again.  He now denies that he took the part.
    While the above was going on, my washer needed the above repair, so he took care of that and I paid him a fair price.  But when I next did a wash, there was a loud hum all through the wash cycle.  He came back to fix it. And left. And when I did my wash the hum was still there, as it is to this day.
    I might add that, while I had the impression he was coming at 9, he didn't show up till 9:30.  He later claimed it was a "window". Fair enough, but it would have been nice to know that in advance!
    Throughout, he never called me to give me progress reports and I had difficulty getting him on the phone.  He has now washed his hands of me.
    I complained to Bureau of Consumer Affairs and he answered the complaint with two pages of  lies and exaggerations about how nasty, demanding and unreasonable I was.  Just claim the customer is a jerk and no third party can say you're not justified in what you have(n't) done...

    He was on time and quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed micro-switch with the root cause being a poor quality connection that heated the switch.  He was able to create a replacement part by adjusting a modern micro-switch and fixed the connection to prevent other failures.
    I do not impress easily and was very impressed by Don Branker.
