    Cardinal Moving and Transport
The movers came the same day that I had called for an estimate. Based on the large amount of things that needed to be moved, I was given a fair price. The movers were available when I needed them for that specific day and very flexible on the time of arrival. They handled everything from boxes to furniture with great and provided moving blankets and packing tape etc... Due to so many things being moved, they needed to take two trips. It was a very large move!!! So with all that being said, the job was definitely a great price. I would definitely recommend them again.

    BeeLine Moving & Hauling
BeeLine was fantastic! We had to move our elderly parents closer to us, and Beeline did a careful and meticulas job of moving the contents from one home to another. All their belongings and furniture arrived in perfect condition. Beeline's expert movers were very hard working, but at the same time extremely courteous and respectful. They worked with us throughout the day, and followed through on everything that was promised, to the last detail. We were very satisfied and happy. Our parents are now living near the rest of the family, and we are all together again. I highly recommend them to anyone planning a move. Thank you, BeeLine.

First, the three employees arrived earlier than the agreed upon time and sat in our driveway waiting for us to arrive.  We realized later that they charged us for that time.  I will get right to the point of how they did with the large items that were of concern to us.  The refrigerator:  they could not figure out how to get it through the doorway so they carelessly disassembled it, shelves, doors, water connections, etc and after banging it back and forth between the door jambs, causing scrapes and dents while doing so, they finally got it out and loaded.  I'll mention now so I don't forget that they left behind the parts to reassemble the doors.  Had I not seen them and brought them myself, they could not have reassembled the refrigerator at our new location.  Even with my bringing the parts, we later found out, when we had to hire a technician, that they failed to reconnect the water line in the door and they left screws out on the hinges.  They also did not take the time to correctly reassemble the shelves, so the freezer drawer would not close.  We now have water leakage on the floor about once a week, which we never had before.  So far we have spent over $200.00 attempting to correct what they did and it is still not resolved.

The garden tractor:  they did not know how to get the wheels to free-spin and obviously tried various things.  I saw the difficulty they were having so I showed them the wheel release.  The day after the move, I found that they had turned the key on and left it on, killing the battery.

But the nightmare was the dining room table.  The set is a Henredon, which is a very good make, and in addition to its monetary value, it has sentimental value.  The table has two pedestal bases, each of which has three claw-foot legs.  We specifically asked them to use extra care with the table and even offered to disassemble it into two halves.  They assured us that was not necessary and they put the table into the truck, out of our sight.  When we arrived at our new home and they were unpacking the truck, they informed us they had bad news; the legs had broken on the table.  They said that they had placed our FULL-SIZED couch on TOP of the table and they theorized that when one of the legs broke, it must have shifted back and forth, breaking every single one of the claw feet!  Our table still sits in its destroyed state in our sunroom, which is our entrance, and everyone who visits looks at the table in disbelief, saying that "savages" must have done this.  When the Allways employees left our house they assured us that Allways would take care of the damage they had caused.  The next day, we tried to call the owner of Allways and you guessed it, he would not answer our repeated calls over the course of several days.  It was only after telling an employee on the phone that if the owner did not call us back we were going to file a lawsuit that he finally called.  Bottom line is he offered us $200.00 plus $200 "good customer relations" for a total of only $400.00 towards an attempted repair.  We have had two estimates from professional woodworkers and both informed us that the legs have been so structurally compromised that they can make no guarantee if they attempt to repair it.  They told us that a repaired leg could break again the first time we open the table to put a leaf in.  They also told us that a couch should never, ever have been placed on top of the table.  Keep in mind we are talking about a set that cost over $10,000.00.  So we were left with no other option than to sue him.  The court appearance has been scheduled for May.  When the owner received the notice of the suit and the notice to appear, he called us in an attempt to "resolve this informally."  During this discussion he actually said that if he has to pay for a new table, he "wants the old one and he knows that it has sentimental value."

What about insurance, you ask?  The day of the move the employees told us that there was standard coverage included which was sufficient for what we had to move.  However, there is a clause in the contract, required by the U.S. and NYS Departments of Transportation, that allows the homeowner to reduce the mover's liability by accepting 30 cents per pound for an item that is broken.  So for example, if the table weighs 150 pounds, you receive $45.00.  A $2000.00 television weighing 30 pounds would have a maximum of $9 coverage.  The Department of Transportation also requires the HOMEOWNER, if they want to accept this waiver, to write in THEIR OWN HANDWRITING, the words 30 cents per pound.  This is to acknowledge that the homeowner is aware.  Needless to say, we would NEVER sign off on that type of waiver.  No reasonably intelligent person would do so.  But at the end of the move, after the employees left and we were again reviewing the contract because of the damage they had done, we found that one of the employees actually wrote in 30 cents per pound, without our knowledge.  We are taking appropriate action on that matter as well.

Bottom line, they did thousands of dollars of damage and they will not stand up and do the right thing.

So might think the price is reasonable, so did we, but it will cost you plenty in the long, and short, run.

I wish I could post photos of the extensive, irresponsible damage they caused to our table.  If you are not already convinced, that would do it.

They are fantastic!  Crew of 5 showed up on time.  Went immediately to work and did not stop until the job was completed.  They were a pleasure to work with.  Took extra care of our belongings and not one item was damaged in the move.  They also dropped additional items off at a friendn's home after our move.
I would recommend Economy movers highly and use them again in the future.  They made the ordeal of such a large move very managible.  They also came in very close to the estimate.

The Movers were expected between 8-10am on the day of pick-up and they came right on time. I had all my boxes packed already so that the movers didn't have to pack anything. All of the furniture that needed to be wrapped was wrapped very well and anything that they could take apart to make it easier for the move was done and wrapped very well as well. The movers were very professional and kind. Any item that they were not sure of, they would ask me about it. After everything was packed up on the truck the movers asked me to do a final walk through just to make sure that they didn't miss anything. The owner Jack was very kind in answering any question that i had asked throughout the multiple calls that i had made to him at different times of the week. Originally when I was talking with jack about the quote for my move he had explained that for my move to happen the company would have to send a shuttle truck to pick up all of my items for my move and then transferred over to a trailer to drive down to North Carolina. I was very happy when the moving crew came to my house and told me that there was not going to be any transfer over to a trailer so I didn't have to worry about anything getting lost or broken in the process of the move. The Price of the move was definitely worth every penny considering at how amazing of a job the company did and not damaging or breaking anything. I definitely will be using this company in the future and will be recommending them to anyone that I know who needs to move.

Suddath Relocation Systems of Ft. Lauderdale, Inc.
All my furniture arrived and nothing was lost. I was very disappointed that my furniture was not wrapped in some sort of protective covering which resulted in my leather couch being damaged. The person in charge wrote up a report and said that he would submit it to the company who would in turn follow up with me. Its been three months and I have heard nothing. How disappointing. Having moved my household several times in the past I had never seen a large company such as this be so skimpy in the manner in which they transported my large furniture items.

We were very impressed with the service recieved from Always Moving. They returned phone calls promptly, arrived on site exactly when they said they would and completed the job quickly and professionally. There were no surprise fees as part of the move and they even completed the job in less time than quoted resulting in a $50 savings. This was for a very short in town move which had been hard to find a company interested in taking the job. The first movers that were called, doubled the estimate after we agreed to go with them so it was a pleasant surprise to deal with the honest people at Always Moving.
